Bonafide (by the strict definition) Baboon Serial Killer,

Dellmus Colvin.

http://www.onnnews.com/?sec=home&sto...949142835.html

Nigger Serial Killer Of The Week (A possible new feature on Goyfire) is
Mr. Nigger Dellmus Colvin,
Score 6 !

http://toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll...WS03/610040382
Quote:
Dellmus Colvin, the Toledo long-haul trucker and convicted serial killer, has admitted "his involvement" in the death of a sixth prostitute, investigators said yesterday.

"He told us the method of her death," Toledo police Sgt. Steve Forrester said. "It was an intended overdose."

He declined to elaborate on Colvin's role in the murder of 40-year-old Dorothea Wetzel of Toledo, citing the ongoing investigation, but said others may be involved in her death.

Ms. Wetzel's skeletal remains were found Aug. 5, 2000, by a man walking his dog near the Maumee River in South Toledo.

Like Colvin's other victims, Ms. Wetzel - who also went by the last name Oviedo and was nicknamed "Angel" - was a known prostitute, according to police and court records. And like several of Colvin's other victims, her body had been wrapped in a blanket and discarded in a desolate area.

Yesterday, police again spoke to Colvin, whom they said may have carried the bodies of one or two of his victims with him until they were mummified.

Calling the 47-year-old Colvin "twisted," assistant prosecutor Tim Braun compared him to Jack the Ripper, the notorious killer of at least five prostitutes in the Whitechapel section of London in 1888.

"It's the same motivation. This is having sex with women you hate. He blames them for having sex for money, but he's paying for them. Then, to feel superior, he kills them," Mr. Braun said, noting letters that Colvin sent to another prostitute while he was in custody.

They are vitriolic and laced with profanity, telling her she is worth nothing, Mr. Braun said.

Investigator Tom Ross, who spent several hours interviewing Colvin late Sunday evening and into Monday morning, agreed: "I think it's a control thing. It's 'I kill because I can.'•"

The cases against Colvin abruptly unfolded Monday during the third day of his trial for the murders of Jackie Simpson, 33, whose body was found April 23, 2003, and Melissa Weber, 37, whose body was found May 9, 2005.

Called to their seats just after lunch, the jury was dismissed as attorneys finalized the deal.

Finally, Colvin stood, admitting one by one to killing Ms. Weber and Ms. Simpson, as well as Lily Summers, 43, whose body was found April 8, 2002; Jacquelynn Thomas, 42, whose body was found Sept. 2, 2000; and Valerie Jones, 38, whose body was found Jan. 6, 2000.

All five Toledo area women had been strangled or smothered - their bodies wrapped in sheets and blankets, and dumped. Several were badly decomposed. Mr. Braun and another assistant prosecutor, J. Christopher Anderson, yesterday said forensics revealed that at least two of the women were dead long before their bodies were discarded.

Lucas County Common Pleas Court Judge Thomas Osowik gave Colvin five consecutive life sentences, but Colvin's confession allowed him to avoid the death penalty under a plea agreement reached with prosecutors.

Colvin declined to be interviewed by media yesterday unless he was paid, jail personnel said. The Blade does not pay for interviews.

Police had begun to suspect Colvin of a series of murders more than a year ago after one prostitute told police critical details following an attack by Colvin. During the assault, she urinated on the sheets in his cab in order to leave her DNA, the assistant prosecutors said.

"She thought he was going to kill her," Mr. Braun said. "She was going to do everything she could so that if they came looking for her, they'd find something."

Additionally, she memorized details of the truck Colvin drove at the time.

Investigators eventually matched her assailant's DNA with evidence in a string of rapes of local prostitutes and to the murder of Ms. Weber, police said.

Nice thread. Lowdown, repulsive, sub-human beasts. How anyone could consider these baboons as their equals is beyond me. I think I could believe Jews are really "chosen" before I could EVER think of a GD nigger as my equal.

Blacknigger Jamaican vader-hero Tyrone Williams has been unfairly hounded and prosecuted for

Prospective jurors show biases in smuggling retrial

Prospective jurors with biases ranging from anti-immigrant sentiment to an unwillingness to impose the death penalty made themselves known today on the first day of jury selection in the Tyrone Williams death-penalty trial.

Thirty-nine of the about 250 prospective jurors said they already believed Williams was guilty of smuggling illegal immigrants, 19 of whom died after riding in a sealed trailer Williams was towing.

The dead were among at least 74 people who endured a three and one-half hour ride in the trailer, where air was scarce and temperatures may have reached 173 F. The abandoned trailer was discovered May 14, 2003, at a Victoria truck stop with bodies piled inside.

U.S. District Judge Lee Rosenthal asked the prospective jurors a series of questions designed to identify potential prejudices in an hour-long session, the second step in the process of choosing 12 jurors and several alternate jurors for Williams' second trial.

A jury in March 2005 failed to reach a verdict on 58 smuggling counts, 20 of them carrying the death penalty. Williams is the only defendant among 14 indicted in connection with the botched smuggling attempt for whom prosecutors sought the death penalty.

He is the only defendant ever to face the death penalty under a 1994 law that allows prosecutors to seek death or life imprisonment if an immigrant dies during a smuggling attempt.

Twenty-seven jurors said their ability to reach a fair verdict would be influenced by their strong feelings about illegal immigration and 14 said they would be biased against Williams because he is an immigrant. Williams, 35, immigrated legally from Jamaica and was living in Schenectady, N.Y., at the time of the smuggling attempt.

Nineteen jurors said they believed he must have done something wrong to be indicted and 38 said they would be unable to impose a death sentenced under any circumstances.

The first step of the jury selection process was the completion of detailed questionnaires two weeks ago. After the hour session of questions today, attorneys began questioning prospective jurors individually.

Attorneys were expected to question 12 jurors today and 15 tomorrow. The individual questioning is expected to take several days and could extend into next week.

Jefferson County Coroner Dr. Ronald Holmes says sharp force trauma "can mean several things. One thing it could mean would be stabbing, obviously. Another thing would be slashing of a particular area of the body."

Holmes told us he thinks "two of the four children were sleeping at the time of the attack," and that the crime scene was spread throughout the apartment.

'I just killed my family'
Somali refugee held in his 4 kids' deaths

By Jessie Halladayand Peter Smith
The Courier-Journal

RELATED VIDEO: Tragedy at Iroquois Homes

RELATED VIDEO: Press conference about Iroquois Homes homicide

One by one, workers carried out the small, draped bodies of four Somali refugee children who police say were murdered by their father yesterday morning in their Iroquois Homes apartment.

Their deaths were apparently the result of an argument between their estranged parents that ended with 42-year-old Said Biyad striking his wife in the head and then killing his children, police said.

Police discovered the bodies of the four siblings, ranging in age from 2 to 8 years old, after Biyad walked into Louisville Metro Police headquarters downtown around 9 a.m. and calmly told detectives: "I just killed my family," said Lt. Col. Phillip Turner, an assistant police chief.

Officers also found the children's wounded mother, Fatuma Amir, who was taken to University Hospital. She was listed in serious condition yesterday.

Neither police nor the coroner would detail how the children were killed.

"This is an extremely tragic situation," Turner said.

Biyad was being held without bond at Metro Corrections last night. He will be arraigned at 9 a.m. today, according to the jail records department.

According to the jail records, he is charged with four counts of murder-domestic violence; attempted murder-domestic violence; first degree rape-domestic violence; first degree assault-domestic violence; and tampering with physical evidence.

Police believe the incident, at 1427 Bicknell Ave., stemmed from an argument between Amir and Biyad over the children. Turner said the couple had been estranged, but it was unclear if Biyad had been living with the family.

Police did not release the names of the 8-year-old boy and three girls -- ages 2, 4 and 7 -- who were killed, the youngest just short of her third birthday.

But Carol Young, director of Kentucky Refugee Ministries, which worked with Amir and the children, said the children's names were Sidi, the oldest, Fatuma, Khadija and Goshany, the youngest.

The three oldest children were Jefferson County Public Schools students, said spokeswoman Lauren Roberts, but she did not provide information about which schools they attended.

The family members
were ethnic Bantus from Somalia
who went to Portland, Ore., as refugees in 2004. Amir and the children moved to Louisville this spring, Young said.

Portland police records show that Biyad and Amir were involved in a domestic disturbance on March 24, 2005, that resulted in no charges filed, Officer Cathy Kent, a spokeswoman, said.

Concern for traditions (LMWAO)
Yesterday, dozens of people, including Somali refugees and residents, watched as police officers, evidence technicians and coroners pored over the scene.

For hours, women dressed in traditional Bantu clothing sat on the sidewalk just yards from the scene, rocking their children and talking in muted tones. Men stood nearby, periodically meeting as some translated between police and the Somalis who were there.

"This is something that never happens," said Hassan Muya, president of the Bantu Community Association. "We never see somebody kill his family."

One of the concerns was burial for the children. Muslim tradition calls for the dead to be buried within 24 hours. But the autopsies, which were to be performed this morning, made it unclear whether that would be possible.

"The way they want to do is not what we want to do," Muya said. "It's difficult."

Omar Ayyash, director of the metro international affairs office, said he was trying to coordinate with the law enforcement officials to help speed the process to meet the religious needs of the family.

"We are very sensitive to the culture," Ayyash said.

Among those hoping for answers yesterday was Amir's brother, Osman Noor.

Noor said he got a call yesterday morning from his aunt, whom Amir had called and told about the attack. Noor, who lives in the Park Hill public housing complex, went quickly to the scene.

By the time he arrived, his sister had already been taken to the hospital and he was told by police that the children were dead.

"They was wonderful children," Noor said. "I'll miss them."

Noor said Biyad was a "nice man, but I don't know what happened."

Mother had found job
Young said Amir and her children moved to Louisville without her husband. The agency did not know when he arrived in Louisville.

Young said Amir never gave any indication that there was a threat of domestic violence.

The ministry had just helped Amir arrange for child care and a job at an assembly plant, Young said.

"From what I understand, she was happy and doing well in her job," Young said, adding that she was an eager participant in the ministry's English classes.

"Everybody's just reeling," at the ministry, she said.

Hundreds of Bantu refugees live in Louisville; many have been helped by Kentucky Refugee Ministries and Catholic Charities.

Young said the Bantus have made great strides in their short time here in Louisville and that they are shocked by the murder.

"The Bantu community is a very gentle community," she said, with members who are "extremely supportive of each other."

Mourners gather
As news spread of the killings, more Somali refugees converged on the scene. Volunteers came to help translate for police.

By evening, On Fire Christian Center had set up a prayer vigil outside the scene to allow residents a chance to mourn.

Early on, Mayor Jerry Abramson came to the scene to help coordinate city services to help the family.

He described the killings as "just an incredible tragedy. As a parent, it's beyond unthinkable."

The Rev. Sandra White, with No Murders Metro -- a group that formed in response to killings in the Louisville area -- came to the scene to offer her support and comfort to the family and residents.

"It's all senseless," she said. "You can't understand."

Conedia Compton spent much of the day watching the scene unfold from her porch across Bicknell Avenue.

"It hurts me more because babies were involved," Compton said. "You open your doors and you never know what you're going to walk into."

N.J. Kike hero killer Alim Hodzic gets a jump on Whites in North America by racially cleansing three other kikes! Of course, there are no photos of kike Alim, but one news company has been kind enough to show us a cool pic of the victims' house, so I have laid in the house's picture. I am sure Alim's house is about the same. I threw TAA's into the driveways of a lot of these houses.

VNNF poster Bud Whiteclued me to this story from this thread:

I frequently type in "3 murdered", "three murdered" etc. up to 5 or so. For some odd reason kike triple killer Alim Hodzic's name never came up. In fact, you have to delve 8 paragraphs deep into this fluff writing from NJ to realize you are reading about a triple murder!

3 dead, 1 wounded

According to law enforcement officials, at around 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Hodzic, 53, armed with a revolver and semiautomatic handgun, shot and killed Esat Astafovic, 41, in the driveway of his home at 19 Fountayne Lane, after having waited for the man to arrive home. Police aren't saying whether Violsa Astafovic, 35, had been in the car, too, but she was then shot inside the house, as was Rasim Astafovic, 74. He was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University in New Brunswick.

"Mr. Astafovic unwittingly signed a guarantee on behalf of the Hodzics without realizing that he was to have no ownership interest," the court wrote. "It is possible that Mr. Astafovic's cocaine dependency at the time facilitated plaintiff's duplicity."

to death in her face on her dorrstep has never transpired. He killed her Feb. 2, 2003. That is 3 years and 8 months ago. No trial.

The trial in Phil Spector's long-playing murder case has been postponed yet again, getting bumped from January to March of next year. It's the fifth such delay in the past year.

The start date will move from Jan. 16 to March 5, 2007

Nothing good comes out of Africa. Even racial cleansing hero Mukosi Freddy Mulaudzi-- score 7 ! -- is denied the honor he deserves.

The case against a man accused of seven murders including those of five children was postponed in the Dzanani magistrate's court on Wednesday.

Mukosi Freddy Mulaudzi, 42, briefly appeared in the court after he was arrested on Monday, and his case was postponed to November 15 for further investigation.

He had been eluding police since his escape in 1996 from Pretoria's Baviaanspoort Prison, where he was serving several life sentences for other murders.

"We have been hunting this guy for about 10 years," Senior Superintendent Motlafela Mojapelo said.

Mulaudzi is charged with seven new counts of murder, rape and housebreaking and theft.

Mojapelo said Mulaudzi could also be connected to three counts of attempted murder, two of armed robbery, three of rape, four of murder, three counts of housebreaking and two cases of assault, all committed in the Siloam and Levubu areas in Limpopo since 2004.

Wednesday's appearance relates to the killing of Ndivhuwo Winnity Tshilimandila, 19, and Nyadzeni, 14, Shumani, 10, and Levhalesani Maxwell Sivhugwana, 7,
who were hacked to death
in their home on Thohoyandou in August.

In the same month he also allegedly killed Phophi Tracy Radzilani, 30, in her house with a sharp object.

Her two children, Rotondwa, 7, and Moses Mushiana, 5 months,
were burnt beyond recognition
in their bedroom. - Sapa

EDIT: Found a pic-

Genuine nigger serial killer Bilford Dwight Junious in Houston scores 6 and counting. I suppose we are to conclude that the rapes and murders in the Acres Homes area are mere coincidences. Even though this nigger has been caught, MSM-- so far as I can find-- won't yet show us his photo.

Brown said a serial killer could be connected to numerous sexual assaults and the slayings of six women whose nude or partially clothed bodies were discovered hidden in wooded areas in Acres Homes.
Surviving victims and witnesses have told police that the man, believed to be in his late 20s or 30s with closely cropped or shaved dark hair, may have tattoos of scales or a zodiac sign, and "Old English" lettering on his back or shoulders, Brown said.
He may recently have served time in prison, perhaps for sexual assault, Brown said, without detailing the reasons for that speculation. Later, through a spokesman, he declined to elaborate on what evidence investigators collected.

Wore Celtics jersey

Brown said the killer may have committed a recent sexual assault in which the assailant wore a white Boston Celtics jersey, the number 62...
Quote:
He also had a Superman sticker on his vehicle, which other victims identified, according to authorities.

Investigators questioned Junious about a string of sexual assaults and slayings in the Acres Homes area, where six women have been found dead since January.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. A suspect in a triple murder at a Birmingham motel that killed a Texas truck driver had been released from an Alabama prison a month and a half before the shooting.

Twenty-three-year-old Brandon Deon Mitchell of Birmingham had served almost three years in prison when he was released October 11th.

Authorities say Mitchell was one two suspects who gunned down a front desk clerk and two guests during a robbery at the Airport Inn on Thanksgiving.

One of the victims was 42-year-old John Aylesworth, a truck driver and former Marine from Sulphur Springs. He was buried Thursday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

His widow told The Birmingham News that the suspect -- quote -- "needs to die" for what happened to her husband.

Daphne Aylesworth was left with four children, ages 10 months to 7 years.

Records show that Mitchell received a 20-year sentence in May of 2003 after he was convicted of robbery, discharging a gun into an occupied vehicle and second-degree kidnapping. He only had to serve three years.

Alabama Department of Corrections records show Mitchell was disciplined 13 times while in state custody, but authorities said they couldn't release details of those infractions.

The bodies of West and her children were discovered after worried family members drove 140 miles from Warren in northeastern Ohio because they had not heard from West in several days.

Howard, who is being held in a Warren jail on a charge of aggravated murder in an unrelated case, was charged Thursday by Columbus police with four counts of murder. No further details were released.

Man Is Held in 3 Killings
Officials investigating three Ventura County slayings in spring 2004 track down the suspect, Rudolfo 'Rudy' Negrete, 24, in Acapulco.

October 21, 2006

The principal suspect in three Ventura County slayings in spring 2004 was arrested Friday in Acapulco after a 30-month manhunt, authorities said.

Rudolfo "Rudy" Negrete, 24, was being transported Friday by Mexican authorities from the coastal resort city to a federal prison near Mexico City, where extradition proceedings will begin, said John Clark, chief inspector of the U.S. Marshals Service in Los Angeles.

"I'm not sure how long he's been there, but we just developed information in the past two months of him being in several locations in and around Acapulco," Clark said. "The arrest of Rudolfo Negrete was a textbook example of the benefits of the international law enforcement community, the judicial system and governments working together."

Negrete was living in Oxnard on April 16, 2004, when he allegedly shot Oxnard College student Daniel Campos, 21, in the back of the head and left his body in a strawberry field south of Camarillo.
The next afternoon, a campus police officer at Cal State Channel Islands in Camarillo found the bodies of Kern County residents Alexander Lee Jordan, 24, and his pregnant wife, Cynthia J. Jordan, 22, who also were killed execution style. Their bodies were found a few miles from Campos' in a wooded area off Potrero Road. The Taft couple's 2002 Chevrolet Impala had been stolen. (See my avatar)

The slayings were the subject of nationwide news reports, and Negrete was profiled several times on the Fox television program "America's Most Wanted."

A month after the slayings, Ventura County sheriff's detectives announced that Negrete, who was initially linked to Campos' death, was also a suspect in the Jordans' killings and that a $10,000 reward was offered.

In November 2004, a second suspect, Jose Manuel Ramirez, 21, also of Oxnard, was arrested after he arrived at a Ventura County mental health center seeking treatment. He was taken into custody on a probation violation but was never charged in the killings.

After being held for more than 18 months for other crimes, Ramirez was released this summer because of insufficient evidence connecting him to the killings, said Capt. Ron Nelson, spokesman for the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

Ramirez could be charged once Negrete returns to the United States, Nelson said, adding, "He's still involved in the case. He's still a suspect."

It is unclear how soon Negrete might be returned, however.

Unless he waives his opposition to being extradited, the case could drag on.

"The process could take months or even years," Clark said. "That's beyond our control now. That will depend on him and his attorneys."

They died for "drugs, money or both," he said.

A passerby spotted the bodies of 28-year-old Jose Luis, 25-year-old Yessica, 4-year-old Luis Julian and 3-year-old Luis Damian about 45 feet from the road in Port St. Lucie.

Earlier Friday morning, U.S. Marshals led five people into the Fort Pierce federal courthouse. Four West Palm Beach-area men - 26-year-old Danny Varela, 23-year-old Daniel Troya, 23-year-old Ricardo Sanchez Jr. and 20-year-old Juan Gutierrez - sat side-by-side and whispered. Separate from them but facing the same charges was 18-year-old Liana Lopez of Greenacres.

All were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on allegations of planning to sell at least 500 grams of cocaine between May and October. Only Gutierrez has been cleared of any connection with the murders, officials said. The group will remain at the jail without bail.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Linnea Johnson asked whether any of them wanted a bond hearing before Nov. 3, noting that the criminal complaint refers to the killings.

"This is a homicide that has received quite a bit of attention in the media," she told the defendants. "I'm not suggesting you're involved in the murder. I'm just telling you the criminal complaint has some language in it that gives me some concern ... because of the seriousness of the charge."

All five agreed they would wait one week until their bond hearings.

Only Troya, who wore a cast on his right hand and wrist, spoke when asked whether they had questions.

"I know where we're at, and they say it's a high-profile case," he said. "But I've got a broken hand and no medication."

Johnson declined to tell the U.S. Marshals Service where to place him.

She appointed an attorney for each, set their arraignments for Nov. 13 and ordered that each receive a copy of the criminal complaint.

In that complaint, an investigator writes, "The evidence seized from the Escobedo residence, combined with information obtained during interviews with family members and associates of the victims, led law enforcement officers to conclude that Jose Luis Escobedo Jr. was likely involved in cocaine trafficking activities before he was murdered."

The complaint also said evidence linked Varela, Troya and Sanchez to Escobedo. They lived together at 6458 Garden Court, West Palm Beach, where the Drug Enforcement Administration searched.

The complaint says the group kept their suspected cocaine and Ecstasy in a safe, a kitchen cabinet and a dresser drawer: 1,150 grams of powder cocaine, 84 grams of crack cocaine and 32 Ecstasy pills. They kept a little more cocaine in a white Ford Taurus investigators saw Troya driving, the complaint says.

They kept their drug accessories, such as scales and razor blades, and 13 guns in the garage, the complaint says. They kept an AK-47 in the master bedroom closet.

Investigators found a picture of Varela with Jose Luis Escobedo in the house. And Escobedo had pictures of some of them at his home: jail booking photos of Sanchez and Lopez.

Varela's nickname "DV" appeared on one of the suspected drug ledgers found at Escobedo's house. Another labeled "Money that needs to get paid" mentioned Sanchez's nickname, "Rick," and Lopez's nickname, "Negra," and possible drug-moving trips they made.

Gutierrez, the only one of the five not believed to be connected with the homicides, agreed to speak with police, the complaint says. He told investigators Varela and Lopez were "romantically involved." He also said he and Varela helped Jose Luis Escobedo destroy cocaine packaging material this month, the complaint says.

Gutierrez said the other four lived at the house but that he just went there to get a ride to work from his cousin, Sanchez. Neighbors said police frequented the home of Sanchez's family in West Palm Beach.

During his most recent arrest in July, he fled from police on foot after driving a stolen car. He tripped and dropped a shoebox with 770 grams of cocaine in plastic bags.

At Varela's most recent arrest in June, a deputy found $1,064 in a rubber band in one pocket and another $300 in another roll. The deputy saw marijuana on the floor of his car. He would not say where the cash came from.

Troya was in the car with Varela that day. Troya grew up with his parents on Upland Road in West Palm Beach, but moved out when he was 15, said his father, Lorenzo. Daniel Troya's criminal record begins two months before he turned 16, with an arrest for vehicle theft.

"My stomach is turning over this," the father said. "I don't believe it. We're just sick. ... He's a good-hearted kid."

Women sat in plastic chairs outside Lopez's home Friday. One woman said Lopez's mother had a baby last week and was too shocked to speak. Lopez was arrested previously in May on cocaine-trafficking charges.

At least seven state, local and federal law enforcement agencies worked to make the recent arrests.

St. Lucie County investigators contacted the DEA within a day after finding a drug connection, and West Palm Beach police officers assigned to a DEA task force helped pull the case together. West Palm Beach Assistant Chief Russell Bruce said that at one point, the entire eight-man organized crime division worked on this case.

"There's no question about it," Bruce said. "It's the result of intelligence information that our agents had developed in the past through working other cases."

Investigators interviewed 24-year-old Michael Naujalis of Lake Worth, whose red Dodge conversion van might have been involved in the murders. Investigators recovered the van Thursday night and cleared Naujalis Friday evening. Naujalis had sold the van to Varela in August, but Varela never completed the transfer of title.

St. Lucie Sheriff Mascara would not identify which, if any, of the five in custody might have shot the family.

He grinned when asked where the case stands with these five people in jail without bail.

"We are in an excellent position right now," he said.

The Escobedo family moved to Greenacres months ago from Brownsville, Texas, just a hop across the Mexican border from the drug capital of Matamoros. Family and friends couldn't say how Jose Luis Escobedo earned enough money to leave a depressed neighborhood in Brownsville for a suburban-style home in Palm Beach County. His brother, 28-year-old Jose Manuel Escobedo, is a federal fugitive who should be serving time on cocaine-trafficking charges.

Jose Luis Escobedo's sister, Rita Flores, said her family in Brownsville heard of the arrests in a television news report Friday morning.

"They're gonna get what they deserve," she said. "I guess, just leave it up to God."

AP Ahead: Reno arson suspect served prison time for murder

RENO, Nev. (AP) - A woman who served prison time for second-degree murder was arrested Wednesday and accused of setting the blaze that killed six people and gutted much of a historic brick building in the downtown casino district.

 , 47, a casino cook, was arrested on arson and murder charges in Tuesday night's fire at the Mizpah Hotel that police said began when she set fire to a mattress.

Hotel workers and neighbors, who described Moore as "nice" and a "good tenant," said she had been drinking and may have lost control after an argument with another tenant.

Moore was booked into the Washoe County Jail at 5 a.m. Wednesday on suspicion of first-degree arson and six counts of first-degree murder. An additional parole violation charge was added, Washoe County Sheriff's Deputy Brooke L. Keast said.

Authorities said there was no record that Moore had hired a lawyer.

Keast said she had no immediate details but confirmed that Moore served time in prison for second-degree murder.

"The original charge she had (resulting in the parole violation) was second-degree murder and use of a deadly weapon, but we don't know where that charge was from. They are looking into that," Keast told The Associated Press.

State corrections records obtained by the AP show Moore was serving time on a charge of second-degree murder with use of a deadly weapon out of Washoe County in September 2003 when a prison guard was arrested for trying to smuggle two-heroin-filled balloons into her at the Southern Nevada Women's Correctional Facility in North Las Vegas.

Investigators alleged that the guard, Constance Edwards, 33 was providing Moore with cocaine and heroin and received $50 to $200 every time she brought contraband into the prison, sometimes hidden in her bra.

Moore was convicted Sept. 24, 1987, in Washoe County District Court for a killing on Feb. 27 of that year. She started serving two life sentences on Nov. 5, 1987, but was released on parole in June 2005, state corrections records show.

Neighbors and hotel workers described Moore as a normally pleasant woman.

"When I see her picture flashed up on the (TV) screen, it looks like she's a monster, but she was a real nice person," said Sharon Steele, the hotel's general manager.

"She was a really good tenant. She just had way, way too much to drink yesterday, causing trouble all day," Steele told The Associated Press.

Steven Purcell, 53, the hotel's front desk clerk, said Moore asked him to escort her from a nearby liquor store to the hotel late Tuesday afternoon.

"She seemed lucid and in a good mood at the time," Purcell told AP. "But sometimes, she was erratic and irrational and possibly self-medicated."

The fire was the city's deadliest in more than 40 years and came two days after the 133rd anniversary of an 1873 fire that destroyed more than 100 buildings in Reno.

It broke out about 10 p.m. Tuesday and swept through the three-story building a block from the downtown fire station.

About 30 people were injured, mostly with minor injuries. Authorities reported that seven people were hospitalized, two in critical condition in Reno. One person was flown to a burn center in California.

The building was used primarily as a residential hotel. Because of its age, it did not have sprinklers but was equipped with smoke alarms, which probably saved many lives, Reno Fire Division Chief Marty Scheuerman said.

"There could have been a lot more fatalities and injuries than there were," Scheuerman said.

"The fire crews that arrived on scene performed heroically to get people out of the windows because there was no other way out," he said.

Firefighters said they did not know of anyone still missing in the rubble, but they had yet to search some areas. The roof collapsed, and authorities said the building would have to be shored up.

"We're going to have to go in with big timbers and wood to make it safe enough so it won't fall down on inspectors and responders," Scheuerman said.

Police Chief Michael Poehlman said the blaze was started when Moore set fire to a mattress in the hotel.

Maxie Birch, 42, an acquaintance of Moore who lived down the hall from her, said he told police Moore set fire to a mattress that she leaned against his hotel room door.

Moore was angered when Birch refused to open the door to discuss an earlier incident in which police responded to an argument between Moore and another tenant, he said.

Moore's drunken behavior was out of character, and she was friendly and sober when he saw her earlier in the day, Birch said.

"She always seemed like a normal, friendly person," Birch said. "She didn't seem like a crazy person. But something happened last night to push her over the edge. She just flipped. I don't know what caused her to flip."

Police said 60 to 80 people were inside the 84-year-old, recently renovated hotel when the fire started. It quickly engulfed the north wing of the hotel, near Harrah's casino, though none of the downtown high-rise hotel-casinos were threatened.

Some residents jumped from windows. Others were rescued by firefighters with ladders and city workers with a cherry picker.

Third-floor resident John Hicks said he saw one person jump from a window and land on a metal trash bin.

Hotel tenant Larry Madsen, 49, managed to climb down a fire escape despite becoming disoriented by thick smoke in his room.

"Everything I worked so hard to get is gone," Madsen said. "All I own now is what you see. But life is more important than things any day. I feel blessed to be alive."

About 50 dislocated residents were being housed temporarily at a Reno high school, with cots and food provided by the Red Cross.

It was Reno's deadliest fire since 1962, when six people died at the Golden Hotel, fire department spokesman Steve Frady said.

The Mizpah was built in 1922 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Fire officials said they did not know whether the building could be saved.

"It was just gorgeous, and now it's all gone," Steele. "It's a brick building. I don't know why it burned so fast."

Happy Thanksgiving gift to VNN forum members from the highly valued Freakin' immigrants in Oakland. Asmero Tewolda does the right thing-- 3 racially cleansed!
http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/s...24shooting.jpg
Quote:
OAKLAND – A family dispute turned deadly when a gunman burst into a Thanksgiving Day gathering and opened fire, killing three and seriously injuring a fourth.
Two men were being held in connection with the shooting, which occurred shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday at the Keller Plaza apartment complex in north Oakland.

On Friday, dozens of Eritrean immigrants, many wearing headscarves, sobbing and wailing, streamed into the gated apartment complex to mourn the loss of their friends and to comfort the remaining family members holed up inside.

Authorities said a gunman walked into a unit where 11 people reportedly were having holiday dinner and began firing. Two women and one man were fatally shot, and another man suffered a broken back when he tried to escape by jumping out a third-story window, police said.

The gunman then fled, prompting a SWAT team to close down surrounding blocks and conduct an apartment-by-apartment sweep.

Asmero Tewolda surrendered to police several hours later, after barricading himself in the complex, police said. His brother, whose name was not released, also was taken into custody, although his alleged role in the incident was unclear.
“Right now we are looking at both of them as suspects,” said police spokesman Officer Roland Holmgren.

Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from an ongoing family dispute, said Lt. Kenny Whitman. Several handguns were recovered at the scene, he said.

Tewolda and the other man questioned by police are brothers who believed their sister-in-law, one of the women killed, was responsible for the death of her husband – their brother – eight months ago, according to Gebrehiwot Tesfandrias, a family friend.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, was shot along with her mother and her brother, Tesfandrias said.

The man who jumped out the window was taken to Highland Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said. The names of the victims were not immediately released.

Thousands of Eritreans came to the U.S. as refugees during their country's 30-year war of independence with Ethiopia, or immigrated after the war ended in 1991. According to the Eritrean Consulate, about 7,000 immigrants settled in the San Francisco Bay area with about 2,000 of those in Oakland, many in the neighborhood where the shootings took place.

The tight-knit community gathers in cafes decorated with the red, blue, green and gold of the Eritrean flag to drink spiced coffee and debate the long-simmering border dispute with neighboring Ethiopia and their country's economic troubles.

The triple slaying brings Oakland's homicide total for the year to 138. Last year, there were 94.

The Baseline killer has been captured, nigger Mark Goudeau, who fits the strict definition of a serial killer--
SCORE 9 !
http://www3.whdh.com/news/articles/national/BO36336/

Quote:
Police in Phoenix say they have caught the Baseline Killer who shot 9 people to death

PHOENIX -- Police said Thursday they have caught the Baseline Killer, the gunman responsible for nine slayings that spread terror across the Phoenix area for nearly a year.

Police Chief Jack Harris said investigators are recommending that Mark Goudeau, a 42-year-old construction worker who has been in jail since September, be charged with 71 counts, including nine murders -- most of them random shootings committed on the street at night.

Goudeau was arrested three months ago in two sexual assaults that were attributed to the Baseline Killer. But at the time, police stopped short of pronouncing him the Baseline Killer while they built a case against the ex-convict.

Cmdr. Joe Klima, who oversaw the investigation, said investigators have collected forensic evidence -- including DNA and ballistics -- and other evidence implicating Goudeau. He would not elaborate.

"All of this evidence points to Mark Goudeau as the one who committed these crimes," Klima said.

Prosecutor Andrew Thomas said his office would draw up the charges.

"I still believe this man should never again be able to walk the streets of this Valley or anywhere else in freedom," Thomas said. "I'm going to do everything within my lawful authority to make sure that that is the outcome."

Calls to Goudeau's attorney, Corwin Townsend, were not immediately returned.

The Baseline Killer case originally included 23 shootings, rapes and robberies that left eight people dead between August 2005 and June. The dead, seven of them women, ranged in age from 19 to 39. Most were killed going about their daily activities, such as leaving work, washing a car or waiting at a bus stop.

A ninth killing was not publicly revealed until Thursday. The victim, Sophia Nunez, 37, was found dead in her Phoenix home by her 8-year-old son in April. Other cases were dropped from the investigation, leaving a total of 19 in which Goudeau is a suspect.

"It's just a shock when you lose a child. Sophia was 37, but she's still my child," Nunez's mother, Maria, said Thursday.

Police have said the killer usually struck at night and wore disguises, which included a wig of dreadlocks and a fisherman's hat. The name Baseline Killer came from the Phoenix street where some of the earliest crimes were committed.

Police said they followed up on 8,000 leads to get to this point.

About half of the Baseline Killer attacks occurred within three miles of the Phoenix home Goudeau shared with his wife. One woman was killed just around the corner.

Goudeau served 131/2 years in prison for three aggravated assaults, armed robbery and kidnapping before being paroled in 2004. He once blamed his history of violence on a weakness for crack.

After his arrest, Goudeau's wife, Wendy Carr, lashed out at police and the mayor for their handling of the case, saying accusations "have been spilled into the streets with complete disregard for the truth."

The Baseline Killer was one of two serial killer cases that spread fear across the Phoenix area recently.

In August, police arrested two roommates in what was dubbed the Serial Shooter case. The two men are accused of driving around the city and its suburbs at night, firing at people randomly from a car. Seven people were killed.

The defendants are awaiting trial.

Genuine, strict-by-the-definition international NON-WHITE serial killers Surender Koli and Moninder Singh Pandher of New Delhi, India
score between 17 and 38 , gentlemen!

Suspected serial killers Surender Koli (far left) and Moninder Singh Pandher (far right) are escorted by plainclothes police officers to the Directorate of Forensic Sciences in Gandhinagar, in Gujarat. The duo are being questioned after being given a ‘truth drug’

Quote:
An autopsy report said the 17 bodies, mainly of young girls from poor families, found near Pandher’s house last week had been sliced with "butcher-like" precision.

Residents say at least 38 people, mostly children, have disappeared from the area and that police had ignored their complaints the children were missing.

Today, however, there is only evil in perceptions of Moninder Singh Pandher, the millionaire New Delhi businessman at the centre of what is emerging as oneof the world's most horrendous cases of sexual depravity and pedophile serial killing. The Indian media has dubbed him the Butcher of Noida - in articles accompanied by school pictures of a neatly dressed and turbaned Bishop Cotton student, known to his mates as Goldy.

He is accused with his manservant, Surendra Kohli, of as many as 40 cases of kidnapping young children, mainly little girls, raping and abusing them - in some instances after they had died - strangling them and then cutting up their bodies before disposing of the remains in a drain outside his house at Noida, on Delhi's outskirts.

Surveillance Technology Helps Catch Serial Killer

Old-fashioned detective work would have solved a murder that led to the arrest of a serial killer in Philadelphia, but technology left the perpetrator without a defense, police said.

Jan 5, 2007 02:20 PM

Old-fashioned detective work would have solved a murder
that led to the arrest of a serial killer in Philadelphia
, but technology left the perpetrator without a defense, police said.

"We would have been able to solve the case without technology," said Homicide Unit Det. Charles Boyle. "It was a tip that did it, but the technology made it a slam-dunk."

Boyle, who investigated the shooting of 48-year-old Patricia McDermott in May 2005, said a tipster identified Juan Covington as a suspect, but video collected from more than 50 private and public cameras brought the tipster forward and strengthened the case. It was not the first time authorities have used technology in a criminal investigation, but it was the first time detectives in Philadelphia used so many surveillance systems to solve a crime, Boyle said.

After a driver found McDermott's dead body, police spent several weeks collecting and reviewing video from businesses, apartment buildings, parking lots and public property to trace the victim's steps. Images from cameras installed around a post office showed the killer following McDermott off a bus during her morning commute, shooting her in the back of the head and running away.

Using the killer's direction of travel as a guide, police went to neighboring properties in search of more videotape. Several -- some using infrared technology and others with poor quality footage -- showed the perpetrator escaping before dawn.

Since none of the images provided a clear picture of the perpetrator's face, police released the images to the public, hoping for a tip. One of hundreds of tipsters told police the image resembled Covington, a regular on the bus McDermott had boarded.

Police soon discovered that Covington worked at the same hospital where McDermott worked as an X-ray technician. That day, investigators found surveillance video of Covington showing up at his workplace -- in the same clothing -- soon after the murder.

"It's a shame that it's after the fact, but it's a pretty powerful tool," Boyle said.

Covington told police he believed McDermott was deliberating exposing him to radiation on the job. The 44-year-old admitted to shooting four other people, two of whom survived. He pleaded guilty in 2005. Now, he is serving a life sentence in prison.

Boyle said police probably could have caught Covington through interviews or other evidence.

"People convict themselves in the end," he said. "They tell one story, and things don't match up."

Without the video, Covington may have had a better defense, Boyle said. So, clues from technology -- including cell phone records, transit card bar codes and credit card purchases -- often help.

Without the video from the crime scene and escape route, police investigating the murder in Philadelphia could have requested information on every transit card swiped on the bus after McDermott had boarded. They could have traced that information back to individuals through credit card purchases. They also could have traced bar codes from swiped transit cards to the times and locations of transactions conducted by passengers on the bus.

"Then we would pray that they've got a video," Boyle said.
