Default Omaha bar owner charged for killing rioter who attacked him and his business commits suicide

Sun, 20 Sep 2020

A Nebraska bar owner that killed a rioter who was attacking him and his business has committed suicide, a friend of Jake Gardner has confirmed to The Gateway Pundit.

The bar owner, Jake Gardner, was indicted by a grand jury on counts of manslaughter, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, attempted first-degree assault and making terrorist threats after intense political pressure was placed on the city. The district attorney had originally ruled it was self defense.

On May 30, the 38-year-old veteran confronted a group of rioters outside one of the bars he owns in Omaha and was knocked to the ground.

"From there, he fired two warning shots and tried to get to his feet, prosecutors said. As he did, Gardner got into a fight with one man, James Scurlock, 22. The two scuffled before Gardner fired a shot that killed him," Yahoo News reports.

The rioter who was shot had repeatedly broken windows at the bar and other businesses in the area.

Sad. His suicide was so unnecessary. He most likely would have walked.
If one really insists on suicide why not wait for a guilty verdict?
Wonder who is going to take care of his dog.

LIVE UPDATES: Breonna Taylor protesters march downtown despite barricaded roads

Louisville officials say they don't know when a decision from Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is coming in regards to the Breonna Taylor case. But the city is restricting downtown access and taking other actions Tuesday morning, including a state of emergency order from Mayor Greg Fischer.

Here's what's happening Tuesday in Louisville:

Protesters gather downtown

Despite road closings and barricades set up throughout the area, several protesters met downtown Tuesday night at their usual gathering spot in Jefferson Square Park, leading chants of "Whose street? Our street" and "You can't stop the revolution."

Protesters began marching down Liberty Street just before 8 p.m. and eventually returned to the park at Sixth and Jefferson streets

Several police officers reported to the Second Street Bridge earlier in the evening to remove a banner that had been draped from it. An officer said a banner can pose a safety threat if it falls into traffic below.

Mayor Greg Fischer calls state of emergency, other executive order

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer stressed in a Tuesday afternoon release that he doesn't know when an announcement on the Breonna Taylor case is coming but issued an executive order declaring a state of emergency in anticipation of a decision.

The order was put in place "due to the potential for civil unrest, which allows him to exercise any of his emergency powers, including those to hire or contract for services, and implementing curfews and other restrictions," according to a statement from the mayor's office.

A second executive order restricts access to five downtown parking garages and bans on-street parking. Louisville Metro Police officials put up barricades in a more than 25-block downtown perimeter overnight to keep cars from being able to enter the area.

Powers given to a mayor in a state of emergency, according to state statute 39A.100, include: permission to exclude all nonessential personnel from the scene of an emergency, to declare curfews and to request assistance from other U.S. agencies through the governor.

“Again, we do not know when the announcement will come, but we must prepare for it. Our goal is ensuring space and opportunity for potential protesters to gather and express their First Amendment rights after the announcement,” Fischer's statement, sent at 12:47 p.m., said. “At the same time, we are preparing for any eventuality to keep everyone safe.”

In a video update released just after 5 p.m., Fischer encouraged people not to base their plans on "unfounded, uninformed speculation online" and asked people not to spread misinformation.

Fischer again said he doesn't know when the announcement will be made or what Cameron's findings will be.

"We hope that announcement, whatever it is, is coming soon, so our city can learn the facts of what happened that night, begin to heal and take the next steps in the ongoing fight for racial justice and equity," he said.

Talking White women and their coons 'protest' in residential DC neighborhood

Quote:
White Women and Black Men Show Up at the Homes of GOP Senators in the Name of Notorious RBG

No one in the media is talking about how new and how crazy it is to have protesters showing up at people’s personal homes.

The only reason you would go to someone’s personal home is to threaten and menace them, personally. The message isn’t “change your policy or we’ll vote against you,” it’s “do what we want or we’ll kill your family.”

Fox News:

Angry protesters have gathered outside homes owned by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., to express their anger at the Republican senators’ support for moving forward with nominating and confirming a new Supreme Court justice before November’s election after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Banging drums, shouting slogans and flashing lights, dozens of protesters amassed outside Graham’s home in Washington in the early morning hours Monday as Capitol Police tried to keep them off the lawmaker’s property.

“We can’t sleep so neither should Lindsey,” a banner read.

So how did your Monday start? Stand with me against the mob: https://t.co/5iOnCoCB4e pic.twitter.com/nZzz14ngr0

— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) September 21, 2020

Graham was not in Washington at the time and that the senator “regrets the disturbance caused to his neighbors,” a spokesman for Graham said Monday afternoon.

But Graham later tweeted on Monday afternoon a comment asking his followers “how did your Monday start?” before asking them to “[s]tand with me against the mob.”

Demonstrators later marched from Graham’s home to the Supreme Court building.

A similar scene to the one at Graham’s Washington residence played out on Saturday outside McConnell’s home in Kentucky as around 100 people gathered to protest.

“Ruth Sent Us,” and “No Ethics No Shame,” read some of the signs carried by crowd members in Louisville, local FOX station WDRB-TV reported.

“Hey-hey, ho-ho, Mitch McConnell has got to go,” others chanted.

Yes, of course with the hey-ho bit.

They also chanted “move bitch, get out the way.”

Ha ha, cute, haha ha.

The top combo is white women and black men. And that’s how the killing is going to start, when they start the killing. The white women are going to be howling at their black men, telling them, “KILL, TYRONE, KILL!” and the blacks will oblige them.

We have already mostly normalized slaughtering people by normalizing protesting their houses.

It’s funny that this is literally what Notorious RBG has wrought with her empowerment of white women to kill their children and be so very proud of the slaughter. Now they’re ready to start slaughtering others. In the name of the Notorious RBG, they want the killing to really get going.

One of the main reasons no one gave women rights before the modern Jewish era is that they are so very cruel and unforgiving. You are going to live to see how cruel they can get.

Post 2 Louisville officers shot amid Breonna Taylor protests

Quote:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Hours after a Kentucky grand jury brought no charges against Louisville police for Breonna Taylor’s death and protesters took to the streets, authorities said two officers were shot and wounded Wednesday night during the demonstrations expressing anger over the killings of Black people at the hands of police.

Interim Louisville Police Chief Robert Schroeder said a suspect was in custody but did not offer details about whether that person was participating in the demonstrations. He says both officers are expected to recover, and one is undergoing surgery.

He says the officers were shot after investigating reports of gunfire at an intersection where there was a large crowd.

Several shots rang out as protesters in downtown Louisville tried to avoid police blockades, moving down an alleyway as officers lobbed pepper balls, according to an Associated Press journalist. People covered their ears, ran away and frantically looked for places to hide. Police with long guns swarmed the area, then officers in riot gear and military-style vehicles blocked off roadways.

The violence comes after prosecutors said two officers who fired their weapons at Taylor, a Black woman, were justified in using force to protect themselves after they faced gunfire from her boyfriend. The only charges were three counts of wanton endangerment against fired Officer Brett Hankison for shooting into a home next to Taylor’s with people inside.

The FBI is still investigating potential violations of federal law in connection with the raid at Taylor’s home on March 13.

Ben Crump, a lawyer for Taylor’s family, denounced the decision as “outrageous and offensive,” and protesters shouting, “No justice, no peace!” immediately marched through the streets.

Scuffles broke out between police and protesters, and some were arrested.

Officers fired flash bangs and a few small fires burned in a square that’s been at the center of protests, but it had largely cleared out ahead of a nighttime curfew as demonstrators marched through other parts of downtown Louisville. Dozens of patrol cars blocked the city’s major thoroughfare.

Demonstrators also marched in cities like New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Philadelphia.

Taylor, an emergency medical worker, was shot multiple times by white officers who entered her home during a narcotics investigation. State Attorney General Daniel Cameron said that while the officers had a no-knock warrant, the investigation showed they announced themselves before entering. The warrant used to search her home was connected to a suspect who did not live there, and no drugs were found inside.

Along with the killing of George Floyd in Minnesota, Taylor’s case became a major touchstone for nationwide protests that have drawn attention to entrenched racism and demanded police reform. Taylor’s image has been painted on streets, emblazoned on protest signs and silk-screened on T-shirts worn by celebrities. Several prominent African American celebrities joined those urging that the officers be charged.

The announcement drew sadness, frustration and anger that the grand jury did not go further. The wanton endangerment charges each carry a sentence of up to five years.

Post Breonna Taylor grand jury decision spurs NYC protests

Quote:

'protesters' on the Manhattan Bridge NYC

NEW YORK (AP) — Demonstrators packed a New York City plaza Wednesday night to protest a Kentucky grand jury’s decision not to indict any police officers for the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor.

Chanting “Say her name, Breonna Taylor,” the crowd then started marching in the street in downtown Brooklyn, past onlookers and honking cars. They were accompanied by musicians, setting a steady drum beat.

The grand jury indicted one Louisville officer in connection to the March 13 killing, but for shooting into a home next to Taylor’s that had people in it.

No charges were brought against the two officers who fired their weapon at Taylor, in her home. Prosecutors said they were justified in using force to protect themselves after they were shot at.

Taylor, an emergency medical worker, was shot multiple times by white officers who entered her home on a no-knock warrant during a narcotics investigation. The warrant used to search her home was connected to a suspect who did not live there, and no drugs were found inside.

"no drugs were found inside"

The warrant was to search for drugs AND CASH. Notice that the MSM NEVER mentions whether there was "cash" found or not.

The longer story indicates that Taylor's main function in the drug ring was to handle and manage the cash: posting bail and providing cover.

Taylor was the typical "clean" asset in a criminal enterprise that does the straw purchase of guns, maintains the bank accounts and credit cards, etc. There was plenty of reason for the Kwaps to be there that night and all Kwaps will surely shoot if they are shot at. Especially if you hit one of them.

It's going to have to get to the point where either white men find their balls, and a militia of us stand guard with the accused fellow white man - protecting him from court, jew-bought judges, and the system entire - OR - the system collapses, and white men will finally have our freedom back to exact justice as needed.

Post Portland on edge as far-right group holds rally with counterprotesters nearby

Quote:

(CNN)Members of the far-right Proud Boys -- some carrying firearms and wearing body armor -- massed at a rally on Saturday in Portland, Oregon, as counter rallies unfolded nearby and officials in the tense city braced for violence.

At least three people were arrested after nearly 1,500 people gathered at two of three rallies, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.

The Proud Boys event started about noon PST with speeches by group leader Enrique Tarrio and other supporters. Some rally goers carried baseball bats.

Others held President Trump campaign signs. Protective shields were handed out from a van.

"We are aware that shields are being displayed at both event locations," the sheriff's office said via Twitter. "We want everyone to be safe, so we will seize weapons and shields as can be done safely and as resources allow."

The sheriff's office estimated 1,000 people attended the Proud Boys rally at Delta Park in north Portland.

The Delta Park rally unfolded near two other events, one by an anti-fascist group commonly referred to Antifa at Peninsula Park, and one by Black Lives Matter supporters at Historic Vanport, CNN affiliate KOIN reported. The sheriff's office estimated there were 450 people at Peninsula Park.

The sheriff's office said in a Twitter post it was investigating an incident in which a man documenting the Delta Park rally was assaulted.
KOIN reported that the Delta Park rally began to wind down at 2:30 p.m. PST while the Peninsula Park Antifa rally ended 30 minutes later.

I do not know what to do at this point. However,I really believe that a badge fag would body slam me without hesitation and claim that it was afraid for its life since I had a cane and it feared for its own safety!!!

Post Car Plows Through Trump Supporters In California, Multiple Injuries Reported; Driver Arrested

Quote:
Several people were injured on Saturday after a car plowed through a group of Trump supporters who were counter-protesting a Black Lives Matter rally in Yorba Linda, California.

The driver raced down the street as people carrying Thin Blue Line and American flags chased her, only to be faced with a line of police cars. She then continued down the wrong side of the road for a stretch before being stopped and taken into custody.

Talking 'color' revolution

To the tune of Beatles "Revolution" ...

Quote:
Beware a color revolution,
Here, at home.

George Soros wants to change regime
Like Ukraine’s Orange Revolution.
Here, at home,
To put in his favored puppet team.

If you want to see the planned destruction,
Go to Minneapolis and check it out.

Mail-in voting just doesn’t smell right.
Not right, not right.

The country’s facing dissolution,
Well, you know.
Riots are basic for the plan.
The press will make its contribution.
Well, you know
They’ll be doing what they can.

They’ll put the best face on people with minds that hate,
While for the election results we all have to wait.

Mail-in voting you know can’t be right.
Not right, not right.

Once in, they’ll change the Constitution.
Well, you know.
And most of all they’ll change your head.
They reject our institutions.
Well, you know,
And they’ll give us Bolshevism instead.

BLM is a poorly disguised Trojan horse
For the rejection of the American way, of course.

These crazy election plans can’t be right.

Not right, not right.

Not right, not right
Not right, not right
Not right, not right
Not right, not right

Post Kyle Rittenhouse Defense Raises Millions

Quote:
More than $2 million reportedly have been raised to fund the defense of Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old who has been charged with killing two rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last month.

As of Monday, crowdfunding site GiveSendGo has accumulated more than $523,000 for Rittenhouse. And a report from The Associated Press published Thursday said that defense lawyers representing the teen have brought in about $2 million in funds.

Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree intentional homicide and attempted intentional homicide in the wounding of a third and a misdemeanor charge of underage firearm possession.

Last week, #FightBack Foundation, which has been credited with helping the team raise significant funds for Rittenhouse, per the AP, published an 11-minute documentary outlining their client’s actions as self-defense.

The video shows the teen being chased as the narrator notes that “directly in front of Rittenhouse, armed with bats and other weapons, a mob is forming a barricade.” Cutting to a clip of a news interview from Daily Caller reporter Richie McGinnis, who filmed the chase, the reporter says a gunshot nearby was either fired into the air or at Rittenhouse. That was when the teen turned and aimed his weapon at 36-year-old Joseph D. Rosenbaum, according to McGinnis, and fired off four shots.

The video also frames the prosecution of Rittenhouse in political terms; the narrator states during the doc: “But it’s not Kyle Rittenhouse they’re after; their end game is to strip away the Constitutional right of all citizens to defend our communities, our personal property, our lives, and the lives of our loved ones.”

Last month, Pierce Bainbridge, the law firm defending Rittenhouse, said the 17-year-old earlier in the day was cleaning up graffiti from rioters after having finished a shift as a lifeguard in Kenosha. He later “received information about a call for help from a local” car dealership owner who allegedly needed protection for his properties, apparently “including two nearby mechanic’s shops,” from rioters and looters.

Rittenhouse and a friend armed themselves and went to help, the statement said, noting that their weapons were in Wisconsin and “never crossed state lines.”

Describing the events of the incident, the statement noted that Rittenhouse was on his way to a mechanic’s shop when multiple rioters accosted him, recognizing him as one of the people trying to protect the shops in the area. The teen tried to flee as he was chased by the “mob,” and “[u]pon the sound of a gunshot behind him, Kyle turned and was immediately faced with an attacker lunging towards him and reaching for his rifle. He reacted instantaneously and justifiably with his weapon to protect himself, firing and striking the attacker.”

“In fear for his life and concerned the crowd would either continue to shoot at him or even use his own weapon against him, Kyle had no choice but to fire multiple rounds towards his immediate attackers, striking two, including one armed attacker,” the law firm added.

Rittenhouse, the defense team maintains, was failed by those in power that left the rioting unchecked.

“A 17-year-old child should not have to take up arms in America to protect life and property. That is the job of state and local governments. However, those governments have failed, and law-abiding citizens have no choice but to protect their own communities as their forefathers did at Lexington and Concord in 1775,” the statement said.

Post Police Apologize For Deploying Taser Shields To Use Against Protesters

Quote:
The Shelby County Sheriff’s office in Tennesee has come under fire after deploying taser shields to protests that sprang up in response to the lack of charges against the officers who killed Breonna Taylor. After the strange shields were noticed by a group of protesters who gathered in front of the Criminal Justice Center, and images of the shields went viral online, Shelby County Sheriff Floyd Bonner was forced to apologize for the deployment of the shields, calling it a “regrettable mistake.”

In a statement, the sheriff’s office said that Bonner has “directed policy modifications that will prohibit those shields from being displayed or used outside of the Jail again.”
