According to the deputy head of the operational command of the Donetsk People's Republic Eduard Bazurin, the republic's intelligence constantly records a large gathering of Ukrainian military equipment at its borders.

Pound of Flesh
Remember when IMF "gave" all those ZOGbucks to the shiny new globalist Ukraine government?
Kiev has announced that Ukrainians will have to pay nearly 25 percent more for gas starting from November. The decision follows an agreement with the International Monetary Fund that demands increases as part of aid program. https://www.rt.com/business/441798-u...es-gas-prices/ Some excellent comments from the decent folks on RT, including this one: Quote:

Israel, US Secretly Trained Against S-300 Air Defenses in Ukraine
As was to be expected (Middle East Monitor) Fri, Oct 19, 2018 Israel and the US sent secret military delegations to Ukraine to train against the Russian S-300 missile defence system which was shipped to Syria last month. The Israeli and US delegations arrived in Ukraine, where members of the Ukrainian military allegedly instructed them on “the capabilities of the [S-300] system, as well as running through various possible scenarios,” the Times of Israel reported. The claim was first reported by Israel’s Hadashot TV yesterday, which cited Syrian and Russian news outlets as its source. The Times of Israel added that “one Russian report said F-15 planes are training in Ukraine against the S-300 as part of an international exercise that includes Israeli pilots.” Neither Israel nor the US were willing to comment on the reports. That Israel and the US feel the need to secretly train their militaries to deal with the S-300 will be seen as the latest evidence of the regional allies’ concern over the defence system’s capabilities. Both powers were spooked by Russia’s delivery of the S-300 surface-to-air missiles to Syria in late September and had previously endeavoured to prevent the move. Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, said that the delivery of the missiles to Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad’s forces would be completed within two weeks and that “after that incident […] the measures that we will take will be devoted to ensuring 100 per cent safety and security of our men”. The incident to which Lavrov referred was a diplomatic row sparked by the downing of a Russian military plane earlier in September. Assad’s regime allegedly mistook the Russian jet for an Israeli plane, having simultaneously been responding to Israeli fighter jets mounting air attacks on targets in Syria’s coastal region of Latakia. Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed that the Israeli jets carrying out the strikes in Latakia used the Russian plane as cover to allow them to approach their targets without being hit by Syrian anti-aircraft fire. Russia blamed Israel for the incident and the loss of 15 Russian personnel, calling Israel’s actions “irresponsible” and accusing it of not giving Moscow sufficient notice of the attack. Israel’s army was forced to open an investigation into the incident, dispatching the Air Force Chief to present its findings in the Russian capital. Only ten days after the incident, Russia decided to act on its long-postponed decision to deliver the S-300 missiles to Syria. Israel, Russia and the US have been engaged in the Syrian Civil War – which has been ongoing since 2011 – in support of the various factions operating on the ground. Russia has openly supported the Assad regime, while the US has supported a host of opposition groups and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in their bid to overthrow the regime. Despite officially declaring neutrality, Israel has engaged in numerous air strikes across Syria and cited concerns about the presence of Iranian forces in the region as justification. Tensions continue to rise in Russia-Israel relations over Hamas, Ukraine
Wed Dec 19, 2018 07:16AM [Updated: Wed Dec 19, 2018 08:32AM ] HomeMiddle EastPalestine Fresh tensions have broken out in ties between Moscow and Tel Aviv, already entangled in a row over the downing of a Russian aircraft in Syria, this time over the Palestine issue and the Ukraine conflict. Recently, the Gaza-based Palestinian resistance movement Hamas said that its Political Bureau Head Ismail Haniyeh would travel to Moscow in late December upon an official invitation from the Russian Foreign Ministry. During the visit, Haniyeh would discuss bilateral relations and the political developments in Palestine with the Russian leadership, Hamas added. Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riad Maliki has also been invited to Moscow, but it is still not clear whether he would sit down with Haniyeh. The invitation extended to Haniyeh has infuriated the Tel Aviv regime, with Channel 10 reporting on Tuesday that Israel’s Ambassador to Moscow Gary Koren had sent a sharp protest to Russian officials over the issue. Separately, senior Israeli officials have confirmed that a similar protest was conveyed to the Russian Embassy in the occupied territories. Russian officials, however, have rejected the complaints, arguing that Israel is itself holding talks with Hamas, albeit indirectly. According to Channel 10, during a conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the issue, Koren stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would like to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin. Reacting to the overture, Lavrov only nodded and did not comment. In a meeting with Jewish Agency head Isaac Herzog on Monday, the top Russian diplomat stressed that Moscow’s invitation to Haniyeh was part of efforts to prevent an escalation in the Gaza Strip. Russia has already hosted several rounds of talks aimed at forging reconciliation between Hamas and the Palestinian Fatah party. Israel backs anti-Russia bid at UN In a rare move on Monday, Israel voted in favor of a UN General Assembly resolution that voiced “grave concern over the progressive militarization of Crimea” and urged Moscow to “end its temporary occupation of Ukraine’s territory.” The resolution was approved by a vote of 66-19, with 72 abstentions. An Israeli minister warns that the regime will target Syria's S-300 launchers, even if manned by Russian military specialists, should the missile defense system strike Israeli planes. Crimea voted for reunification with Russia in 2014, following deep political changes in Kiev where a pro-Western movement staged weeks of street protests that led to the ouster of the pro-Russia government. People in Crimea, a Black Sea peninsula mainly populated by ethnic Russians, effectively refused to endorse the new administration in Kiev and decided to separate from Ukraine and rejoin the Russian federation in the 2014 referendum. The West and Kiev view the reunification as annexation of the territory by Russia. Moscow, however, strongly dismisses the allegation. Ties between Moscow and Tel Aviv have been tense since Russia’s delivery of the S-300 missile defense system to Syria following the September downing of a Russian aircraft during an Israeli airstrike. Russia blamed Israel for the incident, which killed 15 Russian crew members. The Defense Ministry said Israeli jets had used the Russian plane as cover to attack Syria. Israel is also unhappy with Russia’s cooperation with Iran in the fight against the Takfiri militants in Syria. Tel Aviv has repeatedly asked Moscow to have Iran withdraw its military advisors from regions near the occupied side of Syria. Russia, however, praises Iran’s crucial role in counter-terrorism efforts in Syria, saying Tehran’s presence in the war-torn country – like that of Moscow -- is legal under international law and thus it cannot be forced out. https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2018/...a-Israel-Hamas |

ISIS in Ukraine: A Christmas Present to Russian Christians From Western Multiculturalists
George Galloway
RT Thu, 27 Dec 2018 16:43 UTC The report in British newspaper the Times, that Chechen Islamists, many reeling from defeat in Syria and Iraq amongst the alphabet soup of fanaticism, had indeed arrived at the war front in eastern Ukraine, woke me up from any Christmas torpor. An earlier report in the New York Times had revealed that the Islamist Chechens were under the command of the fascist "Right Sector" and were there to "fight Russians" because "we like fighting Russians" and "will never stop fighting Russians." For the Times at Christmas it was enough to quote one of their commanders: "Putin is our common enemy." A quote which of course could have come from the editor of the Times! While the report was a wake-up call for me, not so the rest of the British media still less the British political class. Tumbleweed rolled over the media spaces where fear and loathing should have been. There was more interest in Strictly Come Dancing than the long bearded Islamist extremists, who were now, once again, our dancing partners in crime. But it was always thus. Chechen battalion leader (and actual, wanted ISIS terrorist) 'Muslim Cheberloevsky' is regularly interviewed on Ukrainian TV (which is paid for by US and EU taxpayers' dollars because the Ukrainian state is completely bankrupt) https://www.sott.net/article/403706-...ticulturalists From the comments: Quote:

A Jewish comedian is the front-runner in Ukraine’s presidential vote
MARCH 13, 2019 7:07 AM (JTA) — Ukraine’s presidential elections is shaping up to be a case of life imitating art. The leading candidate in the March 31 vote is Volodymyr Zelensky, a Ukrainian-Jewish comedian who portrays a history teacher turned president in his hit television show “Servant of the People.” Polls conducted throughout February give Zelensky 25 percent of the vote — a 10-point lead over incumbent Petro Poroshenko and political veteran Yulia Timoshenko. On television, Zelensky’s unlikely presidential candidacy nonetheless carries him into office thanks to popular resentment to corruption and ineptitude of the government and political establishment. Zelensky, 41, whom the local media already began dubbing “the Ukrainian Donald Trump,” is not president yet. But the resentment addressed in his show is not fictional. In a poll last year, bribery and corruption ranked as the second-most pressing problem in Ukraine, being named by 41 percent of the 40,000 poll respondents. The most troubling issue was the territorial conflict with Russia. Born in Kryvyi Rih, near Dnipro, to a Jewish family of scientists, Zelensky has not mentioned his Jewish identity in interviews before or during the campaign, which critics say is purposefully vague. When a reporter asked him how he would deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Zelensky reverted to his comic roots, saying “I would speak to him at eye level.” It was a reference to he and Putin being at least three inches shorter than Poroshenko, a 6-footer. https://www.jta.org/quick-reads/jewi...sidential-vote |

Why is the Biden Administration Pushing Ukraine to Attack Russia?
written by ron paulmonday april 5, 2021 On March 24th, Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky signed what was essentially a declaration of war on Russia. In the document, titled Presidential Decree No. 117/2021, the US-backed Ukrainian leader declared that it is the official policy of Ukraine to take back Crimea from Russia. The declaration that Ukraine would take back Crimea from Russia also followed, and was perhaps instigated by, President Biden’s inflammatory and foolish statement that “Crimea is Ukraine.” US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was a chief architect of the US-backed coup against Ukraine in 2014, continued egging on the Ukrainians, promising full US support for the “territorial integrity” of Ukraine. Many Americans wonder why they are not even half as concerned about the territorial integrity of the United States! Not to be outdone, at the beginning of this month US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin – who previously served on the board of missile-maker Raytheon – called his counterpart in Ukraine and promised "unwavering US support for Ukraine's sovereignty." As the US considers Crimea to be Ukrainian territory, this is clearly a clear green light for Kiev to take military action. Washington is also sending in weapons. Some 300 tons of new weapons have arrived in the past weeks and more is on the way. As could be expected, Moscow has responded to Zelensky’s decree and to the increasingly bellicose rhetoric in Kiev and Washington by re-positioning troops and other military assets closer to its border with Ukraine. Does anyone doubt that if the US were in the same situation - for example, if China installed a hostile and aggressive government in Mexico - the Pentagon might move troops in a similar manner? But according to the media branch of the US military-industrial-Congressional-media complex, Russian troop movements are not a response to clear threats from a neighbor, but instead are just more “Russian aggression.” The unhinged US “experts” behind the 2014 coup against the elected Ukrainian president are back in power and they are determined to finish the job – even if it means World War III! The explicit US backing of Ukraine’s military ambitions in the region are a blank check to Kiev. But it is a check that Kiev would be wise to avoid cashing. Back in 1956 the US government pumped endless propaganda into Hungary promising military backing for an uprising against its Soviet occupiers. When the Hungarians, believing Washington’s lies, did rise up they found themselves all alone and facing Soviet retaliation. Despite the cruel US propaganda, at least Eisenhower was wise enough to realize that no one would benefit from a nuclear war over Budapest. Why is it any of our business whether Crimea is part of Ukraine or part of Russia? Why is it any of our business if the Russian-speaking population of eastern Ukraine prefer being aligned with Russia? Why, for that matter, are unproven allegations of Russian meddling in our elections a violation of the “rules-based international order” but an actual US-backed coup against an elected Ukrainian government is not? We are seeing foreign policy made by Raytheon and the other US military contractors, through cut-outs in government like Austin and others. Feckless US foreign policy “experts” believe their own propaganda about Russia and are on the verge of taking us to war over it. It seems as if Americans are sleepwalking through this dangerous minefield. Let us hope they soon wake up before we're all blown up. http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives...yb5LkJ8w_1rtzI
