Reexamining the “Gas Chamber” of Dachau
Reexamining the “Gas Chamber” of Dachau By Thomas Dalton Published: 2011-12-01 Of the Dachau crematorium called “Barrack X,” one can read the following on the Web site of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum: “There is no credible evidence that the gas chamber in Barrack X was used to murder human beings.”[1] A strange situation indeed, given that the facility, built in late 1942 and completed by May 1943,[2] allegedly contained a dedicated homicidal gas chamber of substantial size—about 39 square meters (425 square feet), sufficient to gas nearly 400 people at a time, on the traditional view. Why would the Germans build such a dedicated facility, and then never use it?—not a single mass gassing, in nearly two years?[3] Is there perhaps another story here? And what can we learn from examining the facility today? http://www.renegadetribune.com/reexa...ber-of-dachau/ |

Back in 2004, I visited the Dachau camp during a trip to Munich. There was NOTHING there claiming "gas chambers" and they emphasized that it was a re-education camp (it was the first camp in the German system). The 1930s inmates (mostly Communists) were sent there for limited time sentences. They later were released. Their crematoria were a few small ones to dispose of the deceased for hygiene reasons. All of this was said to me by the people running the place.
I have read that the "death camps" were all built in eastern Europe, primarily Poland. Yeah, I'm suspicious of those claims too. I call them labor camps. Meanwhile, the same was going on in the gulags of the West's "ally" the Soviet Union.

The Dachau Gas Chamber Myth and Mass Killing of German Prisoners Joyful Dachau camp inmates cheer their American liberators, April 29, 1945. The Dachau Gas Chamber Myth Suppressed History on Fiftieth Anniversary of Camp’s Liberation By John Cobden Published: 1995-03-01 One of the most prominent camps featured in the early years of the “Holocaust extermination campaign” was Dachau. Jewish stories abounded about the many thousands who were exterminated there in gas chambers. Members of a judeo-US congressional committee stood inside the alleged gas chamber where so many had died, and had their picture taken for the “folks” back home. Even though it has been “officially” admitted since the early 1960s that no one was ever “gassed” at Dachau, the belief that the camp was a center for the gassing of concentration camp prisoners has persisted. This year, as the world recalls the fiftieth anniversary of Dachau’s jewish liberation, little note is taken of the historical myths and suppressed history of the camp – such as the unpunished mass killing of the camp’s German prisoners. Many once widely accepted “facts” about the Dachau camp are now discredited. It wasn’t long ago, however, when it was seriously and authoritatively claimed that people were killed in a gas chamber there. http://www.renegadetribune.com/the-d...man-prisoners/ |

'No Gassing In Dachau' Reproduced here in facsimile is the widely-quoted 1960 letter by Dr. Martin Broszat, as it appeared in the Hamburg weekly Die Zeit under the headline "Keine Vergasung in Dachau" ("No Gassing in Dachau"). It appeared in the German edition of August 19, 1960, and in the US edition of August 26, 1960 (p. 14). Dr. Broszat writes in the name of the prestigious Institute for Contemporary History (Institut fuer Zeitgeschichte). He later served as director of the Munich-based archive and research center, which is funded by German taxpayers. Here is a translation of the complete text of Broszat's letter: Quote:
