Default Tiny Chameleons

I think chameleons are one of the most remarkable animals. Let me count the ways:

1. Their googly eyes swivel independently, on the eternal lookout for salivating jungle bunnies skulking about to eat and/or fuck them.

2. Curly prehensile tails.

3. Grasping feet like the 2-fingered hands of Thalidomide babies.

4. Those long, lightning-quick Super Glue tongues.

5. They CHANGE COLORS.

And now this. I want one, dammit.

Quote:
Brookesia micra is a species of chameleon from the islet of Nosy Hara in Antsiranana, Madagascar. As of 14 February 2012, it is the smallest known chameleon and among the smallest reptiles, small enough to stand on the head of a match. In length, adult Brookesia micra can grow up to 29 millimetres (1.1 in).[1]

Those are cooler than cool.

One day scientists will breed humans with independently targetable eyes. I just hope to be alive on that day.

Expect some Japanese slit-eye gookette to be walking around with these in a couple of years.
