Post Court Hears Case to Lift Tony Blair's Immunity for Iraq War Crimes

Tony Blair took his country to war for the benefit of Jews and Israel. Great person he is!

The 2003 Iraq invasion was based off of manufactured evidence and lies. Saddam Hussein had no weapons of mass destruction, as had been claimed in the lead up to the war. The people who used these lies to wage this unlawful ZOG invasion have never been held accountable for their crimes. The decision to invade Iraq has led to the insane situation that exists in that region today. Untold numbers of people have died as a result of this madness.

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has been given immunity from prosecution over the fiasco. Fortunately, a new court case could change that.
The most senior judge in England and Wales will hear a case attempting to overturn a ban on prosecuting Tony Blair over the Iraq war, the Guardian has learned.

A private criminal prosecution against the former Labour prime minister was blocked in 2016 by Westminster magistrates court when it was ruled Blair would have immunity from any criminal charges.

But that ruling by the district judge, Michael Snow, will be reviewed on Wednesday before the lord chief justice, Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, and Mr Justice Ouseley.

The current attorney general, Jeremy Wright QC, wants the block on proceedings upheld. He will have a barrister in court to try to stop the attempted private prosecution.

The hearing follows a decision by the high court in May, which has not previously been reported. Then a high court judge said those wanting to prosecute Blair could have a hearing to seek permission for a court order allowing their case to go to the next stage. The judge in that case also said the attorney general could formally join in the case.
The British government previously conducted a public inquiry which investigated the nation’s role in the Iraq war. The inquiry led by Sir John Chilcot concluded that the decision to wage war was based off of flawed intelligence. It also concluded that the war itself was unnecessary – determining that Iraq did not pose a threat to British national security interests.

The conclusions of this inquiry is a primary factor driving the review of Blair’s immunity from prosecution.

Blair is unquestionably a war criminal. He took his country to war for the benefit of Jews and Israel. The British had nothing to gain from the invasion. Whether or not he actually gets prosecuted for war crimes is an entirely different question though.

Nothing has happened to George W. Bush – he along with a group of Jewish neoconservatives were the primary architects behind the invasion.

Who knows though, maybe this will change. The public is much more aware of these lies than they were back in the 00s.

Tony Blair cannot be put on trial for war crimes. The International Criminal Court only tries people who are accused of personally committing atrocities on the battlefield and not the non-military, non-combatant politicians who lied to parliament to get them to make a decision to take us into war. That would have to be an internal CPS prosecution.
