Not that I have any sympathy for Farage but when that fuck-wit said "what are you going to do for the working class people of Scotland" I laughed. ‘Either the Scottish media are going to start reporting the truth about some of the extremes of the independence movement here or not. But it’s about time they did.’

He likened the ‘hatred’ from BBC interviewers to that seen ‘on the streets yesterday in Edinburgh’.

Mr Farage hung up after being challenged about how much elected representation UKIP has in Scotland.
UKIP STILL AT RECORD 18 PER CENT IN LATEST OPINION POLL

A second opinion poll has put UKIP on 18 per cent.

The latest survey by TNS BMRB found support was at the same level as the party's all-time high recorded by Ipsos MORI this week.

Labour’s lead over the Conservatives was trimmed to nine points, with Mr Miliband’s party falling three points to 37 per cent and Mr Cameron’s Tories gaining three to 28 per cent.

The Lib Dems are on just seven per cent.

He told BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme: ‘Absolutely none. But rather more than the BBC do. We could have had this interview in England a couple of years ago, although I wouldn’t have met with such hatred that I’m getting from your questions, and frankly I’ve had enough of this interview. Goodbye.’

Yesterday staff were forced to clear the Canons' Gait pub on Edinburgh's Royal Mile, where Mr Farage was due to hold a press conference near the Scottish Parliament, after it was filled with chanting protesters.

When he tried to escape by taxi but protesters blocked its path and Mr Farage was forced to return to the pub.

Police barricaded the doors against the protesters until officers in a riot van came to his aid.

Today Mr Farage said the protest painted an ‘ugly picture’ of nationalism north of the border.

He said: ‘The idea that UKIP is some kind of horrible, nasty, anti-immigrant, racist party is not something that was evident to the rest of the country, but of course that wasn't what it was all about.

‘It was a demonstration dressed up as being anti-racism but in fact in itself was deeply racist, with a total hatred of the English and a desire for Scotland to be independent from Westminster. I mean, my goodness me, if this is the face of Scottish nationalism it's a pretty ugly picture.

‘The anger, the snarling, the shouting, the swearing was all linked in to a desire for the Union Jack to be burnt and extinguished from Scotland forever. There's absolutely no doubt who these people were or what they stood for.’

He added: ‘I must say I have heard before that there are some parts of Scottish nationalism that are akin to fascism but yesterday I saw that face-to-face.’

However, the Scottish National Party hit back at Mr Farage's remarks, claiming the UKIP leader has 'completely lost the plot'.

A spoeksman said: 'He accused the BBC of hatred when under pressure and panicked during an interview. Nothing he says can be treated with a shred of credibility and his partners in the No campaign should be embarrassed about his behaviour.'

Lothian and Borders Police confirmed two men were arrested at yesterday's protest for assault and breach of the peace.

One revealed on Twitter that he is English, and criticised Mr Farage for branding yesterday's protest 'anti-English'.

The fact is that UKip were a system strategic creation to prevent respectable people from voting and joining the Bnp. This was plain as a pikestaff to anyone who takes politics in the UK seriously from 2005 onward. Griffin and his advisers saw fit to ignore this obvious real live threat and instead tourney with the underclass scum of the white nationalist movement. As a consequence the Aryan people in the UK have no political power or influence. So has there been an awakening ? has the penny dropped for Griffin and his cronies ? Has it fuck , here we have this Edwards blighter prophesying that sometime in the unidentified future people will realise that UKip was a safety valve.

So what is the timetable for this wishful thinking awakening of those who have fallen for the "safety valve" ? At least midway through the next parliament should any UKip candidates be elected would seem the earliest possible time for such an unlikely occurrence. This Edwards is an imbecile if he thinks the Bnp have another four years to waste.
