Default The North American Arms Folding Revolver

I've just read an article in a firearms magazine extolling the merits of a derringer (.22 magnum or .38 caliber). Two shots, over and under. Wow.

I've known a couple of physician buddies who carry the North American Arms folding revolver, available in .22 magnum:

Quote:
Action: Revolver
Type: Single Action
Caliber: 22LR
Caliber: 22WMR
Barrel Length: 1.625"
Frame/Material: Steel
Finish/Color: Stainless
Grips/Stock: Polymer
Capacity: 5Rd
Description: Holster Grip
Sights: Fixed Sights

I don't own one and use other and, IMHO, better carry firearms. However, the above firearm might be suitable for small women or as a backup for a regular carry gun. Personally, I often just slip my Ruger LCP II in my pocket, it's a .380 with six and seven round magazine choices.

Would anyone use the folding pistol? Just a little question. IMO it beats the hell out of a two round derringer!!!!
