Soviet space shuttle 'Buran'
On November 15, 1988, Buran ("Snowstorm") was launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakh SSR (present-day Kazakhstan) on its first and only space flight. An unmanned, fully automated flight, the shuttle made two orbits of Earth and landed successfully back at Baikonur. Unfortunately, the program could not be continued due to the Soviet Union's collapse and lack of funding.

That's very interesting. Thanks for posting that.
What many people don't know is that there were actually a lot of manned Buran missions, but none of them flew in space. The video you posted was of the only uncrewed Buran mission, and the only one to fly in space. Here is the complete list of all 25 Buran missions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Buran_missions The Mir space station had a docking port specifically for Buran to dock with it. When the Buran program was abandoned, it was used to dock with the American Space Shuttle. |

Buran had a sad ending, being abandoned then destroyed when its hangar roof collapsed on top of it. Had Buran and its other planned sister ships became operational, between them and the American space shuttles, a really big space station larger than ISS could have been built in addition to other space projects and infrastructure.
