Fast Retailing Co.'s 9983.TO -0.87% Uniqlo shops became the biggest apparel chain in Asia, expanding one new store at a time in the region's fast-growing markets. The success of Fast Retailing's breakneck expansion in Asia—where it is opening an average of two new stores a week—was evident in results reported Thursday. Fast Retailing said sales in the fiscal first half ended Feb. 28 jumped 17% from a year earlier, while net profit grew 13%. It also raised its full-year sales and profit outlook.
I bet the Japanese make great clothes. That would be one stock I'd invest in. If not for North Korea.

Clothing market in the US is 200 billion dollars worth of sales.

Really puts it in perspective how huge the Federal spending is. the entire retail clothing market is only 200 billion and they spend 4 trillion a year.
