Default Does Reggae music have Aryan roots . .?

Now, before you might think this is far fetched. .

What is ususllay associated with Reggae . .?

'Rastafaris' , pot-smokin' . .

The meaning behind the 'Rastafari'-cult . . Back in the 70s Haile Selassie ( 'Ras Tafari Makonnen' ) made himself the emperor of Ethiopia . . . He claimed to be descended from a line of biblical kings of Israel . .

What could be historically behind this . .according to research the '12 tribes of Israel' vanished without a trace . . Judah was one of their tribes . . The tribe of Judah was kicked out of the Israelite collective in ancient times . . They later became rabbinic Judaism.

. . but what about the other tribes ? Researchers have claimed that today's Ethiopians could be direct descendants of this collective ( the semitic tribes ) . . Some claims even go so far as to claim that 'The Ark Of The Covenant' is to be found in present-day Ethiopia . .

If you believe the Bible that is. .

Anyway , 'Ras Tafari Rakonnen' claimed to be close to 'Isrealite kings' . .

This founded the 'Ras Tafari'-cult . . .

Blacks who feel a strong connection to the ancient Israelites . .

- - -

Thus far on the history of the Rastafari-cult . .

But . . is it just me or does their music , Reggae , have Aryan predecessors . .?

- - -

. . what is 'Reggae' ?

Musically it is a mild , 'swinging' music with different artifical effects in it . .

. . what do most lyrics deal with . .? Spirituality . .

Their weed ( ganja ) consume aside , many lyrics of this genre go deeply into religion , mystique . .

- - -

Does this music really have Aryan pedecessors . .?

Well . .

The ancient Aryans had a musical style called 'Raga' . . Already . . 'Raga' , 'Reggae' . .word similarity ?

. . what was / is ( it has still has some entourage in present-day India ) Raga . .?

A music with pretty much the same effects as reggae ( meditation-music ) . .

Also a soft , swinging music . .

- - -

Could this really be . .?
The art form of Reggae , associated with Caribbean blacks = Aryan roots . .?

You be the judge . .

. . I know today this is associated with Reggae . .

. . but could there be more to it . .?

"Rastafari, sometimes termed Rastafarianism, is an Abrahamic religion that developed in Jamaica during the 1930s. Scholars of religion and related fields have classified it as both a new religious movement and a social movement. There is no central authority in control of the movement and much diversity exists among practitioners, who are known as Rastafari, Rastafarians, or Rastas.

Rastas refer to their beliefs, which are based on a specific interpretation of the Bible, as "Rastalogy". Central is a monotheistic belief in a single God—referred to as Jah—who partially resides within each individual. Haile Selassie, the Emperor of Ethiopia between 1930 and 1974, is given central importance. Many Rastas regard him as an incarnation of Jah on Earth and as the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, another figure whom practitioners revere. Other Rastas regard Haile Selassie not as Jah incarnate but as a human prophet who fully recognized the inner divinity in every individual. Rastafari is Afrocentric and focuses its attention on the African diaspora, which it believes is oppressed within Western society, or "Babylon". Many Rastas call for the resettlement of the African diaspora in either Ethiopia or Africa more widely, referring to this continent as the Promised Land of "Zion". Rastas refer to their practices as "livity". Communal meetings are known as "groundations", and are typified by music, chanting, discussions, and the smoking of cannabis, the latter being regarded as a sacrament with beneficial properties. Rastas place emphasis on what they regard as living "naturally", adhering to ital dietary requirements, twisting their hair into dreadlocks, and following patriarchal gender roles."

No, I doubt it, I also pretty don't listen to that crap anymore, except for the all white-group 311 from Omaha, NE, who been accused because of their name (311 stands for the KKK). Also, pot kills brain cells. They're only right about the concept of babylon, but don't know what it actually is, they all just blame whites, not capitalist Jews.

Unhappy

One good side is that in Jamaican media masculinity gets pushed way more than in America and Europe. No wonder when the lefty media calls many reggae songs "homophobic" and "sexist"
