Cheese is nutritious food made mostly from the milk of cows but also other mammals, including sheep, goats, buffalo, reindeer, camels and yaks. Around 4000 years ago people have started to breed animals and process their milk. That's when the cheese was born. I liked Danish Fontina best, that is before I tasted Finlandia Lappi (http://www.cheese.com/lappi/) now my favorite, so far. Excellent cold on its own and excellent melted on pizza and other dishes. Wonder what it would taste like if they made it from whole and raw milk (not skimmed and pasteurised).

People who love cheese should take a little trip to Jungle Jim's in Fairfield, Ohio, the largest supermarket in the world, I'm sure. They have 1400 varieties right there in the store. This place is beyond belief. There is a reason it's called JUNGLE Jim's.
This month they're having a Bacon & Cheese Festival. http://www.junglejims.com/junglefests/ |
