Public executions

To save money,I believe that all serious crimes should attract the death penalty,not just murder.Imagine the deterrent effect.Executions should be in public,so that justice is seen to be done.Muggers should get off lightly,the firing squad.Child murderers,like Ian Huntley,should be burned at the stake.Do it at soccer stadia as part of the pre-match entertainment.Get the players to form a large circle around the stake,crouching down,bare legs touching.Then,let the captain of the away team toss a lighted torch onto the kindling at the base of the fire.Fantastic!

Talk about a good way to make an "example" out of someone hehehe. It would definately deter some would be criminals.

Severity of punishment is nowhere near as effective a deterrent as CERTAINTY of punishment. The reason niggers commit all these crimes today that they never would have committed even 50 years ago is because in the old days they knew they WOULD be punished. Today they have a far better than even chance of getting away with it.
