Smile Golden Dawn Denies the holocau$t

Greece condemns far-right party's Holocaust denial
Reuters – 1 hr 34 mins ago

ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece's government and Jewish community on Monday condemned the leader of a far-right party for saying there were no gas chambers in Nazi concentration camps. Nikolaos Mihaloliakos, whose Golden Dawn party became potential kingmakers after an inconclusive election on May 6, also challenged the view that six million Jews were killed in World War Two. "There were no ovens, this is a lie ... there were no gas chambers either," Mihaloliakos said on Sunday in an interview on the private Mega television station.

Golden Dawn, whose members give Nazi-style salutes, took nearly 7 percent of the vote in a surge for fringe parties opposed to austerity policies under Greece's international bailout deal. Mihaloliakos said the number of six million Jewish victims was an "exaggeration" and that "many people from different nations" died in German concentration camps, just like many Japanese died in U.S. camps.

"I most categorically condemn such views, which distort history and offend the memory of millions of Holocaust victims," said government spokesman Pantelis Kapsis.

About 70,000 Greek Jews perished in Nazi concentration camps in World War Two, most from the northern city of Thessaloniki. "The election of Nazi nostalgics is a heavy blow for Greek democracy. It is an insult to the history of Greece," said a statement from the council of Jews in Greece, who today number about 5,500.

Denying the Holocaust is not a punishable crime in Greece, as it is in other European countries such as Germany and France.

Arrow New election for Greece as government talks collapse

Greece will hold a new election in June after days of talks failed to
resolve the country's political deadlock, party leaders said today.

Smile Golder Dawn Voters Disappear

Perhaps this is like trying to find someone here who voted for Uncle Sambo. This is the main English language newspaper in Greece. My guess is that Golden Dawn will do twice as well in the elections next month.

Whose votes are they anyway? The Golden Dawn conundrum
10 May 2012

Almost all Greeks are angry at the country's desperate economic plight these days. Up to seven percent, though, are so angry they seem to have almost become invisible. Rage with traditional parties and fears over a recession-driven rise in crime have given the ultra-nationalist Golden Dawn a vote share of around seven percent, catapulting the party from obscurity to winning 21 seats in parliament.

But the voters who cast their ballots for the far-right group are hard to find - or, at least, reluctant to admit how they voted. And some of the few who do, say they now regret it. A 63-year-old taxi driver, who gave his name only as Leonidas out of fear of reprisals, said he voted for the party because his colleagues had been attacked by immigrants. "But now I realise they (Golden Dawn) are just thugs. I wouldn't vote for them next time," he said.

Since last week's election, TV and internet pictures have emerged of party members in heavy metal makeup, splashed with fake blood and brandishing hunting knives, making Nazi-style salutes or smiling next to an Auschwitz oven.

Linked to racist attacks on immigrants, Golden Dawn says it wants to seal Greek borders with landmines and its election flyers promised to "rid the country of their stench". But in rundown Athens neighbourhoods, the party has managed to build a Robin Hood image among some. Its members - often muscular young men with shaved heads and tight t-shirts - escorted elderly women to the bank and delivered bags of food to poor families struggling to get by during the country's harshest economic crisis in decades.

Analysts said obscurity had helped the party's cause in a country that resisted Nazi occupation in World War II and was later ruled by a military junta. "Half of those who voted for them didn't know what they represented, they thought it was a joke. It backfired. I hope they realise their stupidity now," said Yota Frangiskou, a 32-year-old secretary.

The party has been around for two decades, but none of its members are well-known apart from leader Nikolaos Mihaloliakos. Mihaloliakos, an admirer of Greek dictator Ioannis Metaxas who ruled from 1936 to 1941, served in the army special forces after being jailed for possessing explosives in the 1970s.

"REFLEX REACTION"

The group uses an ancient Greek symbol resembling the swastika as its logo and books on Aryan supremacy line shelves at its offices, but it denies the neo-Nazi label.

The majority of those who voted for Golden Dawn were men aged 25-34, unemployed and without higher education, pollsters say. Fewer than half of them told pollsters they believed the party represented them, however.
"May God help us. I dread to think that they got in," said Maria Savelona, a 51-year-old widow, who did not vote for them. "People voted in anger, without thinking. When they realise what they did, they'll be afraid."

Analysts wonder whether Golden Dawn can sustain its appeal if repeat elections are held soon. "It looks like it was more of a reflex reaction, a passive choice. It wasn't a conscious decision," said Dimitris Mavros, head of MRB polling group.

Journalists largely avoided covering the party's election campaign. They complained at what they said were efforts to bully reporters at Golden Dawn's first post-election news conference. Party members ordered journalists to stand to attention for Mihaloliakos and those who refused were expelled. "Acting like bouncers, they showed their true colours," the Athens Union of Journalists said. "We are not afraid of you. We will reveal your role. You will not have your way."

The party dismissed the incident as a prank. "The government has been playing pranks on the people - cutting its wages, pensions, sending riot police to spray them with chemicals. Asking journalists to stand up out of respect is no big deal," the party's spokesman, Ilias Kasidiaris, told Greek TV.

Mihaloliakos made clear at his first public appearance that getting into parliament would not turn his small army of "brave boys in black" into moderates. He warned those who "betrayed the motherland" to run scared, banging his clenched fist on the podium, a bodyguard on each side: "We are coming!"

For a handful of Greeks, such images and language seem to be less scary than the reality of austerity and the prospect of being ruled by parties they blame for decades of corruption. In a blog which reproduced a 1987 article by Mihaloliakos praising Adolf Hitler, one visitor posted: "I'd rather be governed by a madman than a thief." (Reuters)

A fairly young working class voter demographic, which bodes well for the June election and the years ahead. This demographic has been decimated by the out sourcing of jobs to China and India, and the globalization of most of the world's economies.

That must be a relief for the junk media, after being forced to admit that the majority of Jobbik supporters are young male students and graduates. They love framing the 'far-right' as ignorant retards, hence their spreading of memes like "Muslamic Ray Guns" (the guy in that video does sound stupid, but as recent news stories prove, his comment about gangs of Muslims raping white girls is 100% accurate). I'm sure they want to make people think the same about Golden Dawn.

On the Wiki page for the June election, they've published some opinion polls from the junk media suggesting that Golden Dawn's vote share is going to drop to 3%-4%. They got it wrong last time. I hope their street activists get busy during the next few weeks.

Also, since when did 440,921 voters constitute a "handful of Greeks"?

Unemployed Whites vote for our best interests, feel they have nothing to lose. "Worse is better" currently being proven true in Greece.

Given a choice people will always gravitate towards freedom which will never come from the left.

Black Metal Bassist Elected To Greek Parliament - May 15, 2012

Giorgos Germenis, who plays bass in Greek black metal band NAER MATARON, has been elected to the country's parliament.

Germenis, who is known by the stage name "Kaiadas," will represent the extremist Golden Dawn party, which is described as perhaps the most extreme of the far-right parties in all of Europe. Comparisons are made to Germany's neo-Nazi National Democratic Party and many say Golden Dawn's logo (see below) resembles a swastika.

Stefanos Stefanopolous from the Rockway.gr webzine tells PRI's The World, "[Giorgos] wasn't a well-known musician here in Greece. And to be honest, not many webzines were paying attention to NAER MATARON. It was just another black metal band, a mediocre one, so no one was really paying attention."

Golden Dawn, an extreme right nationalist party with patriotic symbolism and an anti-immigrant stance, won between 5 and 7 per cent of the vote in Greece's general elections on May 6, enough for them to gain representation in parliament for the first time in Greek history.

Germenis says there's an easy solution for Greece's myriad economic problems. First, he says, "Greek factories must be reborn, Their chimneys must be filled with smoke once more, and of course all illegal immigrants must leave. If all the illegal immigrants left — and there are more than three million — there would be three million jobs for Greeks." Germenis was also quoted by PRI's The World as saying, "We Golden Dawn say that Greece is a rich country. In order to rebuild Greece, we also need to revitalize our factories and small workshops. In this way, Greece can stand on its own two feet. We won't need the European Union or anyone else. We'll just need Greeks."

He fucked up. There are voluminous documents concerning the crematoria. There were 52 retorts at the Auschwitz-Birkenau complex alone. That doesn't mean there were gas chambers as the jews describe. Really, he should have just said "I don't know, the subject is hotly debated where it's legal to still do so." or something of that sort. Then he should have recited some of the more fanciful stories from the Holohoax lie and asked the kike if he believed that. The one about blood spurting from the ground for months is always a good standby.

Now all we are going to hear is "holocaust denier" and not about their program to save Greece.

Odd. Why don't they just dress up in SS Regalia? You'd get a better reaction.

I noticed this myself. If you are going to deny the holocau$t, you should deny it right. He should have told the story about the diamond swallowing Jewish Princess. He can always use my line that the tragedy of the holocau$t is the 14 million Jews that Hitler missed. That always shuts them up.

Exactly. Or asked him how they could have dragged people out of a crammed gas chamber 10 minutes after they were gassed with cyanide with no protective clothing, as many have testified doing. There are a ton of fantasy lies to shoot a pushy kike like that down.

He should have remembered he was speaking to an audience and not the interviewer. Our enemy loves this kind of stuff.

There so many holes in the kikes' Ultimate Lie itz hilarious. Some fun questions:

If the camps outside of Germany were "extermination" camps, why did the camps in Germany get the same amount of Zyklon B? Were the camp guards huffing it for kicks?

Why weren't the "extermination gas chamber" doors securely sealed with rubber gaskets?

Where was the hole in the roof of the Auschwitz gas chamber through which the SS guards allegedly dropped the Zyklon?

Where are the pedal-powered skull smashers? The big steel electrocution floors?

The shitkikes forced through laws criminalizing free speech in Europe because they knew they HAD to.....

Smile Run on Greek Banks in Progress

The "Worse is better for now." theory is soon to be vindicated in Greece.

Greeks withdraw €3bn in 10 days since election
Greece's savers making daily bank visits as analysts warn faster capital flight could push country out of euro before June's poll

Helena Smith in Athens and Jill Treanor
guardian.co.uk, Wednesday 16 May 2012 16.43 EDT

Greeks have withdrawn €3bn (£2.4bn) from the banking system since the country's inconclusive elections on 6 May, with tellers saying savers were making two or three visits a day to local banks. Savers fear Greece leaving the eurozone and returning to the drachma. An aide to the outgoing prime minister, Lucas Papademos, said there were "serious fears that the banks were running out of money".

Greece's president, Karolos Papoulias, warned on Monday that €700m had been withdrawn but said he had been assured by the governor of the Greek central bank, George Provopoulous, that there was no panic yet. According to minutes of a meeting on Monday, Papoulias said: "Withdrawals and outflows by 4pm when I called him [Provopoulous] exceeded €600m and reached €700m. He expects total outflows of about €800m, including conversions into German bunds [bonds] and other such things."

Greeks have been slowly withdrawing cash from the banking system ever since the country first needed a bailout two years ago. Nearly a third of bank deposits were withdrawn between January 2010 and March 2012.

A crucial €18bn cash injection to stabilise Greece's banks has been held up at the European financial stability fund's Greek offshoot, the Hellenic financial stability fund (HFSF), for nearly two weeks with officials in Brussels refusing to release the funds because of the political instability in the wake of the elections. That had still not been released by tonight and is now not expected to be released for another four days despite the efforts of the Papademos government to expedite the recapitalisation of Greek banks.

The delay to the recapitalisation was said to have forced the European Central Bank to stop dealing with some Greece banks, leaving local banks to receive funding from the central bank until the banks received their cash injection.

Simon Ward, chief economist at the fund manager Henderson, said there had been a €11.7bn fall in Greek deposits in the first quarter. Domestic private-sector deposits stood at €170bn in late March, of which €66bn was in overnight deposits. Ward warned this could be vulnerable. "It is reasonable to expect this instantly accessible cash to leave the Greek banking system amid current political and economic chaos, implying a heightened risk of deposits being frozen and/or redenominated in the event of EMU [economic and monetary union] expulsion," he said. "Faster capital flight could push Greece out of the euro well before next month's elections, rendering current political manoeuvring irrelevant," Ward added.

Some bankers believe Cyprus will leave the eurozone at the same time as Greece and hope that contagion can be prevented from reaching other debt-laden countries such as Portugal when their people see the pain that the Greeks endure.

Anxiety about the strength of banks across Europe has reached the UK arm of Santander after local authorities – which lost money when Iceland's banks collapsed – queried the connections between the Spanish bank and its UK arm, which owns Abbey, Alliance & Leicester and Bradford & Bingley. John Simmonds, head of finance at Kent county council, said he concluded that the UK arm of Santander was "rock solid" after talks with the bank following the council's decision to stop using the bank for overnight deposits. He had been reassured that the UK arm could only transfer money to Spain through dividends.

A Santander spokesman said: "Santander's UK business is strong and has a standalone credit rating which is one of the highest credit ratings of any UK bank."

Jewish organization urges European governments to tackle anti-Semitism, rightist extremism

A major European Jewish organization is urging European governments to quickly adopt measures to tackle anti-Semitism and far-right extremism, including possibly banning a hardline Greek party that did unusually well in recent elections.

Kantor would not give details of the measures that his organization plans to propose, but they could involve passing legislation, sharing intelligence, and a public awareness campaign about anti-Semitic threats.

What do you mean by 'they'?

It is just a band this person plays in which is completely separate from his Golden Dawn political activities. GD can't kick someone out of their party just because some may not like the style of music they play.

Of course the junk media will link it in order to create fear among the public, you know Black Metal Satan worshiping Nazis who want to exterminate 6,000,000 jews. I bet the kwan evangelicals are already petitioning prez Obooga to begin bombing Greece.
