Lesson Learnt: the reason why revisionism was banned after WWII

Few people know it, but most of the Allied wartime propaganda lies were debunked (often through the admissions and boastings uttered by remorseful or proud former insiders) after the end of WWI. As a consequence of that, a number of the imperialist diktats (vastly justified by propaganda lies) imposed by the victors of 1918 could hardly be maintained for a long time after the war, so threatening the political and economic war booty of the All-Lies (including the lasting subjugation of the vanquished).

In order to avoid a repetition of that unpleasant event after the end of WWII, the victors of 1945 decided to stick to their propaganda lies by holding Stalinist-style mock trials, by carrying out very graphic propaganda show in the last operational concentration camps of the collapsing Third Reich, and by instructing their propagandists to keep silent about their wartime activities.
