Charlottesville City Council Votes to Observe Indigenous Peoples Day Rather Than Columbus Day
"The Daily Progress reports the Charlottesville City Council voted this week to mark the second Monday of October as Indigenous Peoples Day. That date has traditionally been celebrated as Columbus Day, though the city does not currently observe the holiday."

Every Day is Brown People are Upset Day
Quote:
We should commence this replacement holiday on Oct. 1st and extend it thru Thanksgiving. Two full months of worhipping Indians who get drunk, beat their wives with boards from rotting reservation housing, and molest their children at the highest rate in all the land should even the score. Maybe they'll stop drinking now.* *I recall reading a book a decade or more ago called 'Lakota Woman' and she literally laid all that out as fact about her own people---as she simultaneously described why she hated White people. She was half White herself, which is why she had the cognitive functioning necessary to write a book about her life in the first place.

The truth is Charlottesville adds to their culture and values
Quote:
'The resolution says Indigenous Peoples Day shall be used to reflect upon the ongoing struggles of Indigenous people on this land and to celebrate the thriving culture and value that Indigenous nations add to Charlottesville.' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What thriving culture and value do these savages add to Charlottesville? Casinos? Liquor stores? What useful inventions did these prairie niggers create? Tipis? War paint? I actually prefer to call the day Leif Erikson Day. |

Christopher Columbus made a journey against all odds to make it over the Atlantic Ocean. If you read about his voyage it's an epic of courage and will I don't think I would have the stomach for. Yea, technically he didn't "discover" America, but he did open the America's up to the West. Would the British have colonized the America's had Columbus not made his journey? I don't know the answer that question, but if it is no then the United States would just be a wilderness.
The white people who go along with this nonsense are guilt tripped by the magical 100 million indians who were genocided. Even though there weren't even 100 million of them from the Hudson Bay to the Antarctic. Yea, Columbus did some naughty things. But he just did to them what they were already doing to each other. We were just another tribe that showed up with superior technology and wits about us. So, it's no wonder we were able to conquer them so handily. |
