Inside Story: Ross Kemp on Gangs

Watch a video preview

The series continues on Monday March 10 at 9.30pm

On the next episode: Ross travels to Cape Town in South Africa and explores the dark heart of the country's ferocious Number Gang that thrives on over-crowded prisons. In Pollsmoor High Security Prison, he experiences the sensation of incarceration among vicious criminals.

About the show

This Bafta Award-winning documentary series features the tough-guy UK actor as he travels around the world talking to gang members from all walks of life and delving into their societies.

Over four episodes, Ross travels to some very different but equally fascinating places:

El Salvador (March 3)

In the first episode Ross met the "most dangerous gang in the world", MS13 (Mara Salvatrucha). In a country with a population smaller than London, there are over 800 murders a year, which is unsurprising when MS13 manages to boast over 100,000 members.

Cape Town (March 10)

Ross explores the dark heart of South Africa's ferocious Number Gang that thrives on over-crowded prisons. In Pollsmoor High Security Prison Ross experiences the terrifying sensation of incarceration among vicious murderers, rapists, and violent armed-robbers.

Moscow

The vicious Neo-Nazi gangs of Moscow are infiltrated by Ross, to discover who is behind a recent wave of racist attacks and hate crimes; and uncovers the extent to which these National Socialist groups are gaining power in the country.

St Louis

Middle America's gang culture is examined with a visit to St. Louis, Missouri; where he takes a look at how an average Midwestern municipality where in a population of 342,000 people, there are around 380,000 guns, and many of these are in the hands of gang members.

I'm a member of a private bit torrent site that hosts Aus/Kiwi shows. I'll see if this is posted since you most likely won't be able to view it online.

If anyone is interested, I'll upload it to a public tracker like The Pirate Bay or Mininova once it's available.

On second thought, it's already posted on the public sites.

The country's youngest convicted killer is back behind bars after being picked up by police following allegations he has been using drugs.

Bailey Junior Kurariki was arrested at 7.30pm on Friday and charged with breaching parole after his probation officer lodged a formal complaint with the Parole Board.

The claim that Kurariki had been under the influence of drugs came after a routine check of his South Auckland address.

Read how this feral nigger has destroyed the lives of so many white families.

Condemned to a lifetime of anguish
Friday June 27, 2008
By Jarrod Booker

The enormity of one man's crime was spelled out in harrowing terms in the High Court at Christchurch yesterday.

One by one, 12 people affected by the carnage Lipine Sila caused rose to their feet in a packed and emotional courtroom to describe how their lives will never be the same again.

The court heard of health and psychological problems, broken marriages and ongoing nightmares and fears.

Many of Sila's victims felt guilty over having survived the carnage; others talked of life goals ruined and families financially crippled.

Sila never once looked at the speakers.

He showed no emotion until his lawyer began speaking, when he held his head in his hands and appeared to wipe away tears.

Harry Young, father of Jane Young, said the tragedy had forced him and his wife, Lorraine, apart.

"Sila has made us unable to live together. We can no longer bear each other's anger and sadness."

The couple had sold their home, partly because of financial problems and partly because they were unable to bear their daughter's empty room.

Mr Young now lives alone and takes antidepressants. He has sleepless nights and is "full of rage for Sila and the judicial system".

Jane Young's mother, Lorraine, said she had survived only because of her love for her two sons.

Ben Devine spent nine days in intensive care and 3 1/2 weeks in a coma after being struck by Sila's car. He had to learn to walk and talk again, tires easily and struggles with even basic tasks. "I now keep a diary close at hand because I cannot remember anything.

Honestly none of this surprises me. For years they would do nothing about the coconuts no matter what they did.

I remember when you couldn't even walk down Cuda Street ( wellington) without having some glue sniffing rat trying to grab your money.

I heard now its all cleaned up and hub of fashion.

You can kill this

or let this be killed.

Why is this such a difficult choice for you, white men? That is, if you are men at all.

Default Taxi driver refuses uniform over Nazi reminder

Taxi driver refuses uniform over Nazi reminder

Friday Oct 09, 2009

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/ar...ectid=10602238

A taxi driver who was suspended for refusing to wear a black shirt because it reminded him of "wickedness" of the Nazi Reich, should try to come to an agreement with his employer, the Employment Relations Authority says.

Harald Kleiven worked as a taxi driver for Russell Moore, who was a member of the Nelson City Taxi Society.

During 2008 the society adopted a uniform for their drivers that included a black shirt, which was to come into effect on February 9 this year.

Mr Kleiven was suspended for refusing to wear the garment.

He told the ERA the shirt was an offensive reminder of the "wickedness perpetrated by agents of the Nazi Reich throughout continental Europe".

During World War 2 Mr Kleiven was a Norwegian national.

"He described ... a particularly unpleasant exchange in which his whole family (himself as a small boy included) were put up against a wall outside their home and threatened with summary execution by black-shirted Norwegian collaborators, for some minor transgression against the occupying Nazi forces," ERA member James Crichton said.

"Mr Kleiven sees the black shirt to be worn by the society staff and members as a reminder of those tragic days in the Second World War and he does not wish to traumatise himself, or indeed be seen perpetrating the black shirt myth by wearing a uniform comprising of a black shirt."

Mr Crichton said he was satisfied the society had a legal right to insist its staff wore a uniform.

Mr Moore, speaking for the society, said that while he had the highest regard for Mr Kleiven and he was an asset to the business, the society felt it could not make an exception for him in regards to wearing the shirt.

Mr Kleiven said because of the policy he had been unjustifiably dismissed and should be awarded compensation.

Mr Crichton found Mr Kleiven had not been dismissed from the company, rather he had been "blacklisted", so there was no question of compensation.

"It may be possible for the society and Mr Kleiven to come to terms where perhaps the society might re-think its refusal to give Mr Kleiven an exemption, given his passionate belief that the present uniform shirt is a symbol of past evil," Mr Crichton said.

Oh, the irony. Why, then, are Russian gangs going after immigrants from, say, El Salvador, Cape Town, or St Louis?

It never crosses these idiots' minds, even when it is so obviously staring them right in the face.

Found guilty last month of murdering 16-year-olds Hannah Rossiter and Jane Young and of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm to eight others when he drove into a crowd on Christchurch's Edgeware Rd in May last year.

Sentenced to a minimum of 17 years in prison.
The system itself isn't manly. All he gets is 17 years, for killing two young women and injuring eight others, along with ruining families and relationships? How about the death penalty as quickly as can be done. Oh that's right, they're Christians... so we must forgive him. Sickening.

He's not going to do 17 years, because before those 17 years are up, white revolutionaries are going to drag him from his cell, throw him against a wall, and pump him full of lead.

I know a bit about this case as it only happened a couple of blocks from where I live.

The people that threw the party were employees of a local tyre shop that are known to only employ white guys..basically well presented skinheads.

Word spread via text about the party a few days before...the jist of the text being " No gangstas (niggers)...No asians"

There is a lot of racial tension here in Christchurch and it doesn't take much to trigger it...of course the text went right around the city and on that hot night hundreds of kids turned up.

Lipene Sila and his brother Ben showed up at this party for no other reason than 'staunch out 'and bash in a few white skulls.

These street thugs had the tables turned on them when they were set upon by skinhead partygoers...one skinhead in particular gave Sila a good hiding.

Sila dragged his sorry nigger ass out of there and got into his car and aimed at the nearest bunch of White kids.

Needless to say that if the situation was reversed and it was the Skinhead that ploughed into a group of 26 black kids this would be a race-hate story that would have been news globally within hours.

Very interesting story broke today.

History books in NZ may need to be re-written.

Carbon dating suggests European female skull found in river dates back to 1740's.According to records the first European females arrive here were in 1806.

NEWS 5 August 2008, 5:55AM
'European' woman died in NZ between 262 years and 330 years ago
By NZPA

WAIRARAPA

A skull found on the banks of a Wairarapa river has turned out to be a European woman aged between 40 and 45 years, who died between 266 years ago and 302 years ago, says a coroner.

"This suggests that the deceased may have been alive somewhere in the South Wairarapa in or about 1742," said Masterton coroner John Kershaw.

The coroner noted in his findings that despite radiocarbon dating by GNS Science indicating the woman was alive in 1742, historians said the Wairarapa was not settled by Europeans until after the New Zealand Company sent settlers to Wellington a century later, in 1840.

The European discovery of New Zealand was by Abel Janszoon Tasman in December 1642, and history records the first two white women to arrive in New Zealand as Kathleen Hagerty, and Charlotte Edgar, two convicts who escaped from New South Wales and arrived on this side of the Tasman in 1806.

Mr Kershaw said there were few facts available.

Sam Tobin was walking his family dog when he found the skull in October 2004 on the banks of the Ruamahunga River, south east of Featherston.

"We know the deceased was possibly a European female and likely aged between 40 and 45 years," he said.

In 2005, GNS Science indicated a radiocarbon age between 296 years -- plus or minus 34 years.

Two Auckland forensic pathologists Dr Rex Ferris and Dr Tim Koelmeyer said the skull was an adult female, but was not Maori, and was probably Caucasian. A Wellington forensic pathologist, Dr Robin Watt, said the woman was probably of European origin, aged 40-45, but he could not discount the possibility of Maori ancestry.

Masterton archivist Gareth Winter said there were no European inhabitants in the area 300 years ago.

Abel Tasman only journeyed along the west coast of the country and did not land anywhere in the North Island. And there were no records of a ship missing in NZ waters during this period.

English explorer Captain James Cook, visited Cape Palliser early in 1770.

Mr Winter noted that whalers used to visit the Wairarapa coast, but records of their activities were very rare

Default NZ Prepares For Holocaust Remembrance Day 2010

Focus On The Light! - NZ Prepares For Holocaust Remembrance Day 2010

Tuesday, 15 December, 2009 - 16:18

http://www.voxy.co.nz/national/focus...y-2010/5/33310

The children of Moriah Jewish School in Wellington are inviting children and members of the public to attend Holocaust Remembrance Day in 2010 by joining them at the Holocaust Memorial, Makara Cemetery on Wednesday 27th January at 3pm.

"In 2010 we are focusing on the 1.5 million children who were killed in the Holocaust, this is more than the total population of Auckland, the biggest city in New Zealand," says Kessem Goldberg (12).

"We're collecting a button for every child who lost their life and we would like to ask people to donate buttons by bringing them on the 27th January or sending them to our school."

The remembrance ceremony is co-hosted by the NZ Holocaust Research and Education Centre, the Wellington Regional Jewish Council,B'nai Brith Unit 5187 and the NZ National Commission for UNESCO. This year free buses provided by the Wilson Funeral Home will leave parliament at 2pm and take people to the Makara cemetery.

"Through learning programmes about the Holocaust, our younger generation comes to value the importance of tolerance and freedom in a just society," says Dr Andrew Matthews, deputy chair of the NZ National Commission for UNESCO.

"This knowledge is essential to ensure that such atrocities never take place again."

The children embarked on their project in 2008 and in spite of initial doubts are on track to have collected 1 million buttons by January 2010. People from around the world have sent buttons, well wishes and donations for the students' planned memorial sculpture that will incorporate all the collected buttons. Sharing stories with Holocaust survivors has been a key part of the project. Kessem says their stories show sadness, depression and loss but also hope and something to look forward to. The students were particularly touched by Vera Egermayer who was only five when imprisoned in the Terezin Concentration Camp. "In a time like the Holocaust it's like living in a pitch black room. But every time someone does something for you it's like someone coming in the room and lighting a candle. You need to focus on the light of the candle," Ms Egermayer told them. In spite of what she went through, Ms Egermayer's advice, to focus on the light and not the darkness greatly moved the children and her vision has come to shape their subsequent remembrance projects. The planned memorial, a maze incorporating the buttons, is also focused on her advice. "We still find it hard to understand. How can people murder innocent children? By remembering we can help stop this horrible thing from happening in our generation," says Jonah Ease (12). "We feel a special bond to the buttons we have collected . . as if we know the children and we are friends. We are so lucky to live in a time like today and in a safe place like New Zealand. We also feel total respect for the children of the Holocaust."

Kessem and Jonah say the Moriah children get quite emotional just looking at the hundreds of thousands of buttons, all of them different, just like those children who were killed so many years ago.

Remembering ?

N.Z. should remember some their finest Blood Lines that were slaughtered around the Globe per the Orders of criminals of London over the last 100 dieing away from their soil and loved ones for nothing.

If all the White men murdered from N.Z. between 1890 and 2000 could come back they perhaps would overthrow the ruling regime in short order IMO.

Yes, remember what you have forgotten, before the destroyers have your Children remembering hate foisted guilt.

Look what the enemy aliens have done to N.Z. in the last ten years.

Congoidal invaders Paid for by Whites, rape of their brain washed women, and direct flights from L.A. CA. to Christ Church.

How about the Mosque in Christchurch near the cathrederal.

Don't blame the Islamos, blame the culprits and their useful idiot White traitors for selling their souls for a buck/job.

An already tumultuous New Zealand election campaign took another dramatic turn less than a week before polling day when the prime minister, John Key, responded angrily to claims by the American journalist Glenn Greenwald that he had been "deceiving the public" over assurances on spying.

Greenwald, who is visiting New Zealand at the invitation of the German internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom, says he will produce documents provided by the NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden that prove the New Zealand government approved mass surveillance of its residents by the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB), New Zealand's equivalent of the NSA.

Dotcom, who is sought for extradition from New Zealand by the US on copyright charges relating to his now defunct Megaupload file-storage site, is hosting an event in Auckland on Monday called The Moment of Truth, which doubles as a rally for the Dotcom-founded Internet party.

Greenwald has promised to produce his evidence at the event, while Dotcom is pledging to show further links between Key and Hollywood relating to his own case. Adding to the spectacle, Julian Assange is expected to beam in via video link from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, while Dotcom has hinted that Snowden may also appear on the big screen from Moscow.

In media interviews, Key has repeatedly dismissed Greenwald as "Dotcom's little henchman".

Speaking on TVNZ's Q+A programme, he acknowledged that the government had in 2012 considered a "mass cyber-protection" proposal, which he said was "really a Norton antivirus at a very high level", but rejected it. Greenwald, he argued, would therefore have seen incomplete material.

"This is what happens when you hack in to illegal information, when you wander down to New Zealand six days before an election trying to do Dotcom's bidding – what happens is you get half the story," said Key.

He said he was ready to declassify secret documents to support his argument. "There is no ambiguity here. There is no and there never has been any mass surveillance."

Greenwald responded by saying: "I absolutely stand by everything I've said." He told 3 News: "They did far more than look at the idea; they adopted the idea and took steps to make it a reality."

He added: "I've done reporting of surveillance all over the world and a lot of governments haven't liked what I've said, but I've never seen a head of government lose their dignity and get down in the mud and start chucking names to discredit the journalist in order to discredit the journalism."

Greenwald, a former Guardian journalist, has authored hundreds of stories based on leaks from Edward Snowden exposing the breadth of surveillance undertaken by the NSA and its partners in the Five-Eyes alliance, which includes New Zealand. The work was recognised with a Pulitzer prize in April 2014.

Even before the spying controversy, the Key campaign was bedevilled by scandal, with a senior cabinet minister forced to resign following the publication of a book based on hacked emails that revealed links between the ruling centre-right National party and an attack-blogger.

Key and his party have so far emerged mostly unscathed in the polls, however, and remain favourite to win a third term next Saturday.

New Zealand will hold a referendum next year on changing the national flag if the re-elected prime minister, John Key, has his way.

Key said on Monday he would press ahead with plans for a referendum following Saturday’s election triumph.

The centre-right leader said he wanted the ballot next year on whether to ditch the current flag, which features the union jack in one corner.

“I’d like to get on with it, to me I’d like to do it as a 2015 issue,” Key told commercial station Radio Live.

“I’m obviously a big supporter of the change, I think there are a lot of strong arguments in favour of the change.”

Key has previously said he would prefer a new flag featuring the silver fern on a black background.

Sporting teams such as the All Blacks already use the symbol and Key argues it is instantly recognisable as representing New Zealand in the same way the maple leaf is a distinctly Canadian icon.

The existing flag was first used in 1869 and formally adopted in 1902. Its supporters say that New Zealanders have fought and died under it for generations and a change would dishonour their memory.

But critics argue it is too easily confused with those of other former British colonies such as Australia.

Key, who increased his share of the vote to convincingly win a third term on Saturday, favours maintaining ties with Britain’s monarchy, despite his support for a new flag.

Nazi replica hat removed from Invercargill shop window

An Invercargill store owner has removed a hat with a Nazi swastika from a front window position, but Jewish leaders and the Human Rights Commission say the continued sale of such items is deplorable and distressing.

The shop owner said on Monday he had been away on Friday when the World War II German Luftwaffe beret, featuring a swastika, was put in a window display.

He said he was unaware it featured a swastika and removed the hat from the window display on Monday.

He said the hat was a replica that had come from a wholesaler. The primary customers for such items were historical collectors, he said.
