Prettiest girl on TV
I saw this actress in a Palm Pre commercial while watching BBC America. She is very striking and in my opinion one of the prettiest actresses on TV today, honestly, the idea that a world without people who look like this makes me very very sad. |

Her speech pattern was that of classical hypnotic induction. Also, the choice of rhyming words at the end, "there was a feeling I knew, like deja vu" That could easily have been a part of an induction. Getting people to think about feelings, and deja vu happens very deep in the consciousness.
Sorry to go off topic, I thought you might think that interesting. |

She reminds me of a friend I used to have when I was growing up (though he was a guy).

I hate short hair on women, but I don't think it's the case with this girl. In the very beginning of the vid her head is sideways and her hair is pulled back in some type of bun.

She's not bad, has a real "farm-girl" look to her.
I dislike short hair also, a cultural phenomena from the 1920s "flappers" lingering on and utilized by feminists to make the "modern" woman look more masculine. |

Is she supposed to be beautiful because she is so fair?
I think she's pretty, but a little plain. I don't find the "monochromatic" look all that attractive, where the skin and hair color look the same. I think some contrast is beautiful. But still, she's better than 90% of what you find on TV. |

I'm monochrome, too!
I noticed this commercial, too. I was happy to see someone with "monochrome" coloring like me-- dark blond hair, light brown eyes, pale skin. Darker eyed blondes like me get the shaft, and not in a good way!

I have thought alot about why they used this model and that particular look for this commercial.Rather than the usual light skinned mulatto chick or an Amerasian or a " multiethnic" woman, like they usually do, they wanted to project a certain feeling. I think that in this particular commercial the feeling they wanted to project to the audience was calm, stability, delicacy and order....showing a delicate white woman was the ONLY way to project that feeling to that level. Plus..since we see so many damn mud women on tv you have to admit that it is attention getting to show a fair nordic woman without a silverback groid hanging around somewhere in the background. I am not that fair haired, but my kids are, and I hope that my grandchildren will be even more fair. I think it is beautiful....yeah I am a nordicist. And I want to see that kind of look preserved and not with a bottle of peroxide. |

The lady in the video looks like she came directly out of a Renaissance painting. Classic beauty, features that are easy on the eye without a pound of makeup. |

The prettiest girls are the ones you never see on TV.

This girl looks disturbingly similar to Macaulay Culkin. It's no wonder a chick would find her somehow attractive, chicks like guys and chicks dig other chicks that look kinda like guys, I would imagine.
Prettiest girl? Nope, sorry, try again. There are prettier girls walking down the street any time of the day than the subject of this thread. |

I think she has a natural, down-to-earth beauty.

She's ok, but I sill like redheads! Or those ladies who have
red hair turns blond with sunlight bleaching it out in the summer. |

My father was a natural redhead whose hair turned pretty blonde in the summer, and darker in the winter.... Mine is kind of like how his was but a darker auburn, the coppery strands do tend to bleach out, especially near my forehead, which looks kind of weird when they bleach out.
