Vladislav Vals performs Fuzzy Bird Sonata - (23:01-38:15).










"Vladislav Vals was born in 1975 in the Western Siberia. He studed at the Gnessins Music College (Moscow) Professor Margarita Shaposhnikova. From 1993 to 1997 Vladislav studied at the Royal College of Music in London, in the class of Professor Kail Horch. From 1997 to 2000 at the National Conservatory of Music and of Theater in Montpellier (France) in the class of Professor Philippe Braquart. During this time he worked on probation in Nice (France), took part in master classes of the famous saxophonists of Switzerland, France, Holland and Austria. Vladislav Vals is the participant of many Russian and International competitions and he is the first prices laureate of the First International Competition of saxophonists named after A. Glazunov.

Inspired to learn all the nuances of saxophone performance, he finished in 2003 the show department of the Magnitogorsk State Conservatory, the class of outstanding Russian artist Roman Hatipov. He creates his jazz quartet, takes part in jazz festivals and concerts. Vladislav had many concerts. He performed both with the recitals and with the Symphony Orchestra of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Society under the direction of Liny Tao; Samara Philharmonic Society under the direction of Mikhail Scherbakov; Nizhniy Novgorod Philharmonic Society under the direction of Vladimir Ziva; Chamber orchestras of Sochi Philharmonic Society under the direction of Ivan Ivanov; Krasnodar Philharmonic Society under the direction of PavelAznauryan, with the orchestra «VremenaGoda» under the direction of Vladislav Bulakhov. He performed being the member of the Bolshoy Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Eugenie Svetlov and of the State Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Gennady Rozhdestvensky.

V. Vals took part several times in the Russian and International Festivals organized by the Russian Cultural Foundation, such as: «Young Russian Culture in Italy», «Festival of Russian Art in Cannes» (France), «Golden Autumn in the Kremlin», «Talents or XXI Century» in Samara, in jazz festival in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk, Ekaterinburg. He had his concert in more than 50 Russian cities including the Hall of the Moscow Conservatory in Moscow, Perm, Chelyabinsk, Norilsk, Sochi, Samara, Ekaterinburg, Makhachkala, Ulan-Ude, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk and others. He had tours in Italy, Austria, France, Great Britain and America.

Vladislav is the official artist of Yаmaha music in Russia.

At the present time Vladislav Vals is the professor of the Russian Academy of Gnesins (Moscow) in the class of classical saxophone."
