Default Weight training makes you bald

Weight training makes you bald

Pate training ... baldy beefcake

MUSCLEMEN who pump iron are more likely to go bald, scientists warn.

They have discovered bodybuilders’ testosterone soars after a weights session – and that turns into a toxic substance which attacks hair follicles.

The research reveals fellas who lift weights just three times a week for 45 minutes over two years are heading for a premature slaphead.

Boffins found testosterone levels soared an average 25 per cent after one of the sessions. They returned to normal after 30 minutes when the body converted the male hormone into a chemical called DHT.

But DHT, or dihydrotestosterone, shrinks follicles and roots – so hair grows back thinner each time.

It is the biggest single cause of baldness other than genes.

Beefy blokes who had a high-fat diet were found to be at greatest risk of the balding hormones. Women who lifted weights suffered the same side-effect.

Last night hair transplant specialists Rogers Medical Group said: “We have seen an increase in men in their twenties and thirties who regularly circuit train. There’s no doubt it is often a factor in hair loss.”

And as you start going bald, you bodybuild more to compensate. Which leads to more hairloss, and more compensatory weightlifting. It's a vicious cycle.

I have been training hard for the better part of 13 years and I still have a full head of hair. Imagine that....Jews dont want young white males training for strength and health.....Just get fat and watch TV instead.

I doubt there's much of a correlation. I usually stick to cardio exercises.

It be steroids, roids will make you go bald and shrink yer nutsack. Add to that zits and and a major anger problem. Not to mention liver and kidney problems. Do it for too long and you have an enlarged malfunctioning heart. Don't believe me? Just ask Aaanold, he's got two pig valves keeping his ticker functioning.

Fresh fruits, vegetables, rice, beans, things that come out of the ground and aren't processed. No red meat, fat of any kind, mass cardio and and a weight lifting program that doesn't jack up yer joints and you'll live to be a hundred and fuckin chicks till the day you die.

Its all the result of steroid use, one of the side effects.
Remember the records these guys are setting-and breaking are not a result
of diet and training only, the anabolic side-effects come into play.
Thats part of the game. There are such things as fat bald guys who never do anything athletic. Whats worse a lot of those fat guys are White..

Horseman, depending on the injury to your shoulder, maybe instead of heavy-weight you could try bodyweight circuits? You'd have to be more detailed about what you can do and someone may have some alternatives?

That’s a pretty idiotic article in that it makes an essentially groundbreaking claim and provides no source whatsoever other than “scientists claim.”

What I have heard is that male pattern baldness is caused by a genetic condition whereby testosterone converts to toxic substance that attacks the hair follicles; it’s not testosterone per say (or activity that raises testosterone such as lifting or sex) that causes hair loss but this genetic propensity to convert testosterone to this toxic substance.

I’d recommend seeing a doctor and getting it checked out.

Beyond that, I’ve always been a strong believer in working AROUND an injury until it heals. Does a bad shoulder keep you from doing 30-60 minutes of cardio every day? Does it keep you from training your legs, calves, abs, lower back, forearms and hands? Can you still do light biceps, back, triceps and chest in the meantime?

The :[] wants us to look like shapeless, lethargic blobs – let’s hold ourselves to higher standards.

Lateral raises lots and lots of them with light weight (5 lbs). I have used them to bring my shoulders back from the dead before....Once the strength starts to come back do shoulder press 21's with some gay ass weight for a few weeks. Before you know it your back to training again. The bench will hurt your shoulders bad for a long time. Stick with light fly motions for the chest and do them until extreme burn and failure. and of course...There is always legs to train. My fucking elbow is in so much pain right now I wonder if I will be able to keep up my pace.
