Default Would you use a 16in. barrel to shoot deer?

Just like the question says, all I have is a military syle shotgun. It's a Benelli Supernova Tactical pump. I have blinds set up right on top of these deer, there's tracks all around it. I've been feeding them loose corn, and sweet potatoes. They're really tearin up the bark on the cedar trees. I plan to be close.

No, but I'd use it to shoot niggers.

I saw one earlier today riding in his old-gold donk with big chrome rims and a look on his face like he smelled his own stink that I would love to have shot right in his ugly head.

It may shorten your effective range a bit. I am in a blind as I write. Finally got a smart phone.

Well, try it and see what happens; but I'd try it on a nigger before I would shoot a deer - no need to do that unless you are starving.

You'd never kill a deer, Fakins, cuz then you'd have to butcher it and we all know how squeamish you are.

Has a 16.50" barrel. I never had an accuracy problem with it. Of course, a shotgun may be a different story. If you feel confident out to 100 yds, I say go for it. A slug out of a rilfed shotgun barrel is only good up to 150 meters at best (out of a long barrel).

Well, I can cut up a Boston butt, but butchering a deer isn't the sort of thing I would want to be involved with.

You have more hang ups than a telemarketer.

What the fuck kind of self respecting southern white man doesn't want to be involved with butchering a deer?

Oh, yeah.

The Self Respecing White Man part doesn't fit your personal description.

I don't mind shooting animals, I just don't care for cutting up carcasses. Why do you think I went to the trouble of divorcing my wife?

So what are you going to do if that is the only method you got to eat? You get used to the smell eventually, or at least not as bothered by it. First time I ever went deer hunting, I went with my grandfather and I had to field dress 2 doe and 1 buck. He told me if I went I had to field dress all the deer. My first attempt I cut the bladder and soiled it, but got the other 2 right. Killing is easy, it takes a man to finish the job.

...And don't, for the love of all that you consider holy or good in this world, tear open the stomach.

This is my first time and it's really only to see if I can. I'm not much on killing things.
