Pshhhh, woman.

A basic combat load is 210 rounds itself, per person. Add anothet 0 on the end of 400, and then I will be satisfied. Plan on long term shortages in the future. You can eat up a lot of ammo killing food for a family of 7, 8 including your ma. It adds up quick.

This place is good, too. They had a special this summer on old (Russian) Mosin Nagants for $80. bucks (and an ammo special to go with it). They have their quirks, but are powerful enough to take down a bear, and at that price, what the hey, you can arm the whole neighborhood:

Default Cabela's --- Never Forget

I'm confident that A.A. was unaware of the following when posting:

Before dealing with Caleba's the readers of this thread may want to consider the following facts.

Good point. While I would agree with you under normal circumstances, when ammunition is so scarce, and I mean almost impossible to find, is it more important to forgo the reality of not having enough lead to possibly provide/defend your family or continue a boycott against a shitbag company? And in reality, many of the firearms/ammunition companies are either owned by jews, beholden to jewish ties, or down right "Equal Opportunity aka Anti-White" by nature to begin with. In these times, I consider it a necessary evil.

Of course, do take note how they are charging much more for the same product compared to other companies. I hate price gougers, fucking jew bastards.

On topic, I went to several local shops today, seeing what they had on the shelves. Unfortunately, I was about 2 hours late - one store had a shipment of 5.56mm that came in - and sold out that morning. Plenty of Remington .30-06 Core Lokt 180 gr on the shelves, and a few 7.62x39 surplus steel cased rounds - and that was it for rifle ammo. They had the complete line of 12 ga and 20 ga shotgun ammo (slug/buckshot/game shot). They had virtually no pistol rounds - a few boxes of FMJ .38 special and FMJ 9mm. Similar results at the other shops, .30-06, shotgun, and .243.

I did purchase one of their last boxes of 500 count .22LR and a box of 100 .22LR subsonic hollow point rounds. $40 combined.

I ordered a reloading press kit (press, scale, powder dispenser, automatic primer feed) along with a brass tumbler and digital caliper. It's a start.

Gotta slug barrel for the 12ga.

Pouring lead lately. Very economical.

Bird shot ammo is pretty cheap.

One of our local Walmart stores actually had ammo in it. They didn't have a large selection, but they actually had .308 Win on the shelf! Now, I know why they have ammo.

They limit all ammunition purchases to a total of 3 boxes per customer, per day. I snagged up 3 boxes of the .308 - went and found my wife, and had her go purchase the last remaining box.

Winchester .308 150 gr Power Max PHP Hollow Points for $23 a box of 20.

Also had her pick up a box of Hornady Critical Duty 9mm Luger 135gr FlexLock. $23 a box of 25.

Also, I found a sports shop that we stopped at with a large selection of ammunition on the shelves (just got an order in recently).

I don't know if they ship ammo, but you can call and check.

All I can say is "Wow".

Was in a gun store today looking at ammo.

$70 for 500 .22 lr rounds.
$50 for 20 .308 Win hunting rounds.

Crazy!

At the same time, they had 9mm JHP for $23-25 for 20-25 round boxes, but their FMJ 9mm was the same price per round!

I bought a box of 50 M80Ball 7.62x51 for $50 the other day at a different shop. It seems to me that if you can find a rount at near $1 ppr, you are doing good.

What is this world coming to?

Oh, almost forgot.

I found 2 dusty boxes of Winchester Super X .308 on the shelf of our local mom and pop hardware store. I completely forgot that most of our little hardware stores have some ammo for sale. Best part is - they had original pricing - $18.99 for a box of 20.

Snagged both of those up. With large retailers taking advantage of ammo shortages (and jacking up their prices), I'm making it a point to check these seldom used places that sell ammo for deals like the one I just found.

DHS orders another 26.1 million rounds of ammunition!

http://vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=151424

On the list are 9mm and .40 S&W. The short supply is going to be even shorter.
