trials of drugs to help diabetics produce their own insulin

Quote:
A cocktail of two drugs can reset the immune system of diabetes sufferers and restore their ability to produce insulin, it has been claimed.

Researchers say the treatment is 'like hitting the reset button' and describe the results of the first trial - albeit one with only 17 participants - as profound.
They hope the trial could lead to a new treatment for those with Type 1 diabetes.

I think I'm in the beginning, or maybe advanced, stages of this. My vision is blurry as hell and I'm constantly thirsty and have to piss a lot from drinking more water and juice and everything. What does everyone here drink to stay healthy? Everything seems to have sugar in it. Should I just drink nothing but water?

Water. If that's too boring, herbal tea or green tea.

Thanks guys. This stuff is really tripping me out, because these symptoms just hit maybe a few weeks ago. I've never been a sickly person, don't have a doctor, haven't been to the hospital for anything health-related in a little over 20 years.

BTW though, I am a lacto-ovo pescetarian. Deserts are fine in my diet.

You should get it checked out. It's something that can be controlled greatly with diet (cutting out sugar, caffeine and reducing starchy foods) and a little exercise (going for a walk, daily). But if you don't control it can fuck up your vision, your circulation and cause kidney failure, and there is really no need for all that.
