Fifth Macedonian Albanian Reported Killed in Syria

Another Macedonian Albanian has been reported to have died in the fighting in Syria, increasing the number of Macedonian citizens killed during the violence there to at least five

Twenty-two-year-old Alim Osmani from Skopje died several days ago while fighting with a rebel group against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Albanian-language media in Macedonia have reported.

“He fought hand in hand with the Syrian Liberation Army and was not part of Al-Qaeda groups. They won’t return his body,” a relative of Osmani was quoted as saying to Portalb.mk.

Osmani reportedly joined the Syrian resistance last summer.

About a month ago, in a message to his mother, he wrote on his Facebook profile that he was not going to return from Syria and that his faith was in God’s hands.

Osmani is the fifth Macedonian citizen who has reportedly been killed in Syria. Some unofficial reports say that more than 300 Albanians from the country might have already joined Syrian rebels.

But the Macedonian authorities say they do not have the complete picture.

“It is impossible to know for sure how many Macedonian citizens are taking part or have been killed or injured in the Syrian conflict. All we have is the information that is shared with the media,” the Macedonian foreign ministry told Balkan Insight.

Macedonian law forbids citizens from taking part in foreign paramilitary groups. If evidence exists that some of them fought in Syria, they could face trial in Macedonia.

However, experts have suggested that the bulk of Balkan fighters in the Syrian conflict are being recruited in western Europe and that they are getting into the country through Turkey.

Local ethnic Albanian analysts have insisted that the Macedonian citizens fighting in Syria are not mercenaries, nor are they linked with terrorist organisations.

“This is solely about individual, human and religious solidarity,” Ramadan Ramadani, from the Institute for Free Thinking, NISMA, a think tank, said in August last year.

Albanian Stowaways Found In Lorry Trying To Enter UK Via Channel Tunnel

Huffington Post UK/PA

Forty-eight Albanian stowaways have been discovered trying to smuggle themselves into Britain in a refrigerated lorry.

They were found and stopped at the Channel Tunnel terminal in northern France.

Using refrigerated lorries and sealed tankers to smuggle people across borders could result in fatalities, according to one Border Force official.

Albania Businessman Held for Ordering Assassination

Police on Saturday detained 44-year-old Ilir Karcini, accused of ordering the attempted murder of a rival using a gang of assassins.

Besar Likmeta

BIRN
Tirana

Karcini, the owner of Prima Gaz, a liquefied gas company, is suspected of paying 120,000 for the assassination of Pirro Bare, the owner Romano Port Sha, a private oil port terminal in the city of Durres.

The two businessmen had a dispute going back to 2011 for the delayed discharge of a natural gas tanker in Bares port terminal.

On Monday, Tiranas Serious Crimes Court confirmed Karcinis arrest, while the businessman denied any connection with the assignation attempt.

Karcinis lawyer, former general prosecutor Theodhori Sollaku, told reporters that he would appeal the courts decision.

The businessmans arrest comes on the heels of the revelations made by a 31-year-old suspected assassin, Julian Sinanj, who was detained last week.

Sinanaj was arrested as part of gang who carried out a number of assassinations, and is currently cooperating with prosecutors, shedding light on a number of unsolved crimes.

Police belief that at the day of his arrest Sinanaj was attempting to assassinate Pirro Bare.

After Sinanajs arrest on Tuesday in Tirana, police discovered an arsenal of weapons in his apartment in Tirana, including 15 remote-control explosive devices.

Sinanaj is suspected of having carried out four bomb atttacks and two murders in Albania and 20 assassinations in neighboring Greece.

According to police, he was behind an explosion at the home of Democratic Party MP Ardian Kollozi in the city of Vlora on June 1.

Police also believe Sinanaj planted an explosive device found on the car of the prefect of Vlora, Besnik Dervishaj, on December 13, while he was entering the government office in Tirana.

Marjan Mitro, a former inspector on the municipality of Vlora, was arrested on Wednesday at Tirana Airport, accused of ordering the bomb attack against Dervishaj.

Two brothers from the city of Vlora, Genis and Andon Mehillaj, are suspected of ordering another bomb attack carried out by Sinanaj in October and are currently wanted by the police.

Swiss prisons are filled with shiptars and niggers who wage violent gang wars within the walls

Albanians against Africans in Swiss prison

During middle of the week in the Geneva prison Champ- Dollon erupted war-like clashes between Albanian and African criminals. Rival gangs for some time already were fighting in the Swiss prison. This is just the beginning warn prisoners representative authorities .

The confrontation with up to 100 participants was preceded by a dispute on Sunday at the food counter , reports the Tribune de Genve . The participants of different ethnicities had been sanctioned then .

On Monday it was in the prison yard Africans and Albanians fought a bloody brawl . Here, a bystander was thrown against a wall and hurt . The violent offenders were then separated and placed under stricter safety standards.

On Tuesday, the drama went in the third round. Twelve Albanians protested against the punishment of their countrymen , and refused to return to their cells . The guards succeeded to have the upper hand , for now at least .

Explains Peter Zimmermann of the self-help group for prisoners that were formerly located mainly went against the staff at the prison revolts . For some years, but there were more problems with aggression of the different ethnic groups together and also the fact that many prisons are just crowded. The situation was highly dangerous , he says.

"It's an emergency," says Zimmermann. The prisoners felt cooped up, neglected, could find no voice and thus developed aggression. "Location is extremely dangerous."

"They want to defend themselves against the states," said Zimmermann. In the various clans they would find like-minded people and this incited each other. "It goes so far that some prisoners just want to slam." That the wardens did not intervene in Champ-Dollon earlier shows that they were overwhelmed. Zimmermann warns: "The current situation is extremely dangerous. If we tolerate the intolerable conditions, it will become as in the U.S., where clans and violence dominate the prisons. "

Yes, and not only the prisons.

Albanian Robbers Beat 76 year Old Man to Death, Wife in Critical Condition!

Posted by xaameriki on March 10, 2014

An undeclared war has emerged with crime in Greece, a war in which Greek citizens are slaughtered daily by foreigners.

The latest Victims of incredible brutality. Albanian robbers attacked an elderly couple in Larissa, the man breathed his last breath in the hospital while his wife was hospitalized in critical condition. Last Friday night two men speaking Albanian, masking their faces and wearing gloves, attacked the 76 year old once into to the front yard at the ground floor of the house, beating him with their fists using strikes to the body and head.

Threatening with a gun, they led him inside the house, to the women inside, a 61 year old wife and the 98 year old bedridden mother. They demanded their jewelry, hitting both the old man and his wife with their fists, striking the face and body. They then tied the hands of the two elderly, ripped a gold cross chain from the neck of the 61 year old and disappeared.

The couple was transferred to the city hospital, where on Saturday night March 8th the 76 year old man died while his wife is in serious condition.

While the minister of public order Nikos Dendias is dreaming and fantasizing that he has reduced crime even an elderly man is added to the long list of Greeks murdered by foreign criminals. This loser should have resigned long ago with so many heinous crimes committed in the last days. May is approaching soon and the Greek peoples vote will show the way to escape this coalition of our misery.

Shiptar islamist jihadists kill their turkish brothers.

Turkey arrests three from Albania, Kosovo for 'terror' attack

March 21, 2014 07:50 PM

ANKARA: Two Albanians and a man from Kosovo have been arrested for a suspected "terror" attack that claimed the lives of two soldiers and a policeman in southern Turkey, Interior Minister Efgan Ala said Friday.

The three men were arrested after Thursday's attack, in which assailants opened fire on security forces carrying out a highway patrol near the town of Ulukisla, close to the Syrian border.

"The suspects captured were two citizens of Albania and the third from Kosovo," the official Anatolia news agency quoted Ala as saying.

Albania's interior ministry, however, denied that any of those arrested were Albanian citizens.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had labelled the shooting a "vile act of terror" and said the three security officers killed were "martyrs".

Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay said the attackers had "a link with Syria", without giving further details.

Local media reported they were affiliated with militant Islamist organisations operating in Syria.

News agency Dogan said the three suspects, aged between 18 and 23, had crossed the border from Syria into Turkey via the Hatay province then caught a taxi toward Istanbul.

Violence has become commonplace along the border between the two countries since the outbreak of civil war between rebel groups and the troops of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad three years ago.

Syrian Islamist opposition groups, including Al-Qaeda affiliate Al-Nusra Front, are also vying for control of a regime-held border crossing, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Friday.

Turkey, a fierce opponent of Assad's regime, has been accused of supplying arms to several rebel groups fighting to topple Assad since 2011.

Another Macedonian Albanian Reported Killed in Syria

A 31-year-old man formerly convicted of planting a bomb in Kumanovo has reportedly been killed fighting in Syria, increasing the number of Macedonian citizens killed in the violence there to at least six.

Sinisa Jakov Marusic

BIRN
Skopje

Thirty-one-year-old Adnan Rexhepi from Kumanovo, northern Macedonia, died on Saturday while fighting with a rebel group against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Albanian-language media in Macedonia have reported.

He was reportedly killed in the Syrian province of Sham.

"We have received the news that our brother Adnan died as a martyr in Sham, Allah have mercy on him, we feel proud that we had him," friends were cited writing on Facebook by the Albanian-language INA news agency.

Rexhepi was a former insurgent of the now defunct National Liberation Army, NLA, which fought the Macedonian security forces during the conflict in the country in 2001. The conflict ended that year with the signing of a peace accord.

In 2003, Rexhepi was arrested by Macedonian police and sentenced to four years in prison for placing a bomb in the centre of Kumanovo along with several other acomplices. The explosion caused by the bomb injured three people.

Adnan Rexhepi reportedly died on Saturday

Rexhepi is the sixth Macedonian citizen who has reportedly been killed in Syria. Some unofficial reports say that more than 300 Albanians from Macedonia might have already joined Syrian rebels. However, Macedonian authorities said it was impossible to obtain a complete picture.

Addressing this issue in January, the head of the Islamic Religious Community in Macedonia, IVZ, Sulejman Rexhepi, warned Muslims not to get involved in the sectarian conflict raging in Syria.

There is terror going on there between brothers and I do not see what is the point now of helping one side against the other, the cleric said.

Macedonian law forbids citizens from taking part in foreign paramilitary groups. If evidence exists that some of them fought in Syria, they could face trial in Macedonia.

Experts have suggested that the bulk of Balkan fighters in the Syrian conflict are being recruited in western Europe and that they are entering the country through Turkey.

Local ethnic Albanian analysts say the Macedonian citizens fighting in Syria are not mercenaries.

Albanians make up about a quarter of the population of Macedonia, actually it's more like a third and are concentrated in the west of the country.

Albanian cannabis growers and 800 police battle in lawless village of Lazarat

Growers trying to thwart attempts to uproot cannabis plantations have machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades

Quote:

Gunfire rang out on Tuesday from a lawless village in southern Albania as hundreds more police officers arrived to battle well-armed cannabis growers who were trying to thwart a government crackdown.

By midday, about 800 police officers had surrounded the village of Lazarat after shooting overnight wounded a special forces police officer.

With local television broadcasting the events live, police and the interior ministry urged the village's 5,000 residents to stay indoors and warned others to stay away from the area, 230 km (140 miles) south of the capital, Tirana.

On Monday, about 500 police officers raided Lazarat, where 30 suspected cannabis growers opened fire with rocket-propelled grenades, heavy mortars and machine guns. After many of the growers fled, police say they destroyed 11,000 cannabis plants and found cannabis in barrels and sacks, but they could not enter the whole village.

Albania is a major cannabis-producing country in Europe and a transit point for other drugs coming in from Asia and Latin America to Europe. Gangs based in Lazarat are believed to produce about 900 metric tonnes of cannabis a year, worth about 4.5bn (3.6bn) just under half of the small Balkan country's GDP, according to the interior ministry.

Over the past few weeks, Albanian authorities have launched a nationwide operation to uproot the cannabis plantations.

Special forces police officers took up positions on Tuesday around the village, taking cover from the gunfire but holding back from entering Lazarat. Police said most of the shooting was coming from two houses that apparently had stockpiles of weapons.

"We are afraid that if we enter (the village) and respond to the shooting, we may cause casualties," a special forces police officer dressed in camouflage and wearing a bulletproof vest told an Associated Press photographer at the scene. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not officially authorised to speak to the media. "Moreover, (they) have all the weapons and equipment we have," he said.

Authorities said six men were arrested on suspicion of participating in an earlier shoot-out and of attacking and robbing a television news crew.

Police chief Artan Didi told reporters in Tirana that police were targeting a "very well-structured and organised criminal group that is keeping the village in its claws".

Albania, a small mountainous country on the Adriatic coast opposite Italy, has just over 3 million people. It was for decades Europe's most isolated country until a student uprising toppled the communist regime in 1990 and a number of Albanians emigrated to Greece, Italy and other western countries.

Another uprising in 1997 led to the extensive looting of military installations, flooding Albania with weaponry, most of which is still unaccounted for.

Albanians riot over verdict in quintuple murder case

Source: B92, Tanjug

SKOPJE -- A protest was held in Skopje on Friday in front of a court after six ethnic Albanians were sentenced to life in prison earlier in the week.

The group was found guilty of murdering five Macedonian men in April 2012, just before Orthodox Easter.

The local media are reporting today that thousands of mostly young Albanians gathered for the protest, and threw rocks at the police, who responded with stun grenades, tear gas, and water canons.

The protesters were carrying Albanian flags with Islamic markings, and beside chanting "UCK" - the Albanian language acronym for the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army, KLA - they were also shouting "Allahu Akbar."

The demonstration was called via social networks, and is reportedly organized by human rights activists and family members of those convicted for the brutal killing of the five men.

The invitation to the protest was circulated on the internet, specifying that the gathering would be held after Friday prayers in mosques, and added:

"We organize a protest against staged trials, injustice, unpunished murders, mistreatment of families, ethnic and religious hatred. People, this is not merely a protest, it is a national duty. Unless we intervene today when injustice has reached its peak, let the seed of the cowards be erased."

The text added that the protest was supported by "many associations and societies for human rights, Albanian organizations, and public figures."

I admit I don't know much about this situation, but it looks like shiptars are Europe's version of Mexicans with their violence, murder, drugs, etc. It figures they would be the pets of the US. If there is ever a Golden Dawn-run government in Greece, I'm sure they will kick the Albanian's asses out of that country.

Lavdrim Muhaxheri a Kosovo shiptar jihadist with ISIS beheading a captured Syrian soldier

Quote:
The International Center for the Study of Radicalization, ISRA, a think tank based in King's College, London, believes that some 300 Albanian fighters, from Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania, have joined groups linked to al-Qaeda in Syria, including Jabhat al-Nusra and the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, or ISIS.

The Albanian authorities in March arrested eight people, including two radical imams, suspected of recruiting Albanian jihadists to join militant groups in Syria. A number of suspected recruiters have been arrested also in Kosovo.

In other Albanian-related incidents in the Middle East, a man from Ferizaj, in Kosovo, was reportedly behind a horrific suicide bombing in Iraq that killed at least 25 people.

Hundreds of Albanians detained at Serbia-Hungary border

Source: B92, Beta, Tanjug

BELGRADE -- 290 persons, mostly Albanians from Kosovo, have been arrested in the past 48 hours as they were attempting to illegally cross from Serbia to Hungary.

This was announced by Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic during a news conference in Belgrade on Friday.

256 misdemeanor and 15 criminal complaints have been filed related to people smuggling charges, and 15 vehicles confiscated, he said, and added that "anyone abusing the freedom of movement is committing a violation."

Stefanovic announced that he would meet in Belgrade on Monday with the director of the German police to discuss the problem of "illegal migrants and fake asylum seekers."

In recent days, ethnic Albanians from Kosovo have been leaving the territory in great numbers over the administrative line checkpoint of Merdare between Kosovo and central Serbia. From there, they are transported to the town of Subotica in northern Serbia, near the border with Hungary.

In a report earlier this week, Reuters said that "the European Union is experiencing a steep rise in the number of Kosovo citizens smuggling themselves into the affluent bloc."

According to the report, "10,000 filed asylum in Hungary in just one month this year compared to 6,000 for the whole of 2013."

This came "following a relaxation of travel rules" allowing Kosovo's residents to "reach EU borders via Serbia," the agency said.

During the news conference on Friday, held after he signed a readmission agreement protocol with the Swedish ambassador in Belgrade, Stefanovic also revealed that there are currently some 60,000 requests filed by Albanians from Kosovo to receive Serbian passports.

The minister said he interpreted this as "their desire to recognize Serbia as their country. "

Seven years ago, ethnic Albanians in Kosovo unilaterally declared independence, but Serbia considers the proclamation a violation of its Constitution and territorial integrity.
