With about 75% of the votes now re-counted and tallied we can conclude that the vote total for the party will land roughly around the 4000 mark in the national election, and that the party furthermore fell short in all its local attempts to win municipal seats.
Given the stated goal of 10 000 votes and 10 municipal seats, it is hard to describe the result as anything but a big disappointment. If we would have reached the goal, it would have still of course left us in practice powerless and as still a very marginal force at ~0.2% of the vote, but it would have substantiated the claim and sent the strong signal that the party and the nationalist movement really is on the right track to becoming a force to be reckoned with. Having failed in this, now is the time for some serious introspection and evaluation of what went wrong, what should have been done differently, and where we now need to go from here. I myself take a very matter of factual attitude towards the outcome and am not at all that beaten down by it. It is what it is. The disappointing result should be seen as a feedback mechanism that tells us that we further needs to improve on all areas, and that we need to challenge all fixed, old, preconceived and in many cases outdated notions on how things should be done in the nationalist "movement" that still persist. On the local level we need to work in a much more focused way, and focus in on a smaller number of representatives that really can do the party justice and are up to the task. If and when we become a strong and mature enough force, ready and capable to face the turbulent times that undoubtedly awaists us, I'm confident the votes will eventually follow. Still, this is a 6X+ increase since 2010's elections 681 votes, so it is not by any means a total failure. We have many positive things going for us, including a new alternative-media infrastructure and an ability to reach a large part of the population unfiltered thanks to the internet that would have cost the equivalent of uncounted 10s of millions of $ of economic muscles to uphold just a decade or so back. I'll return with more comments on this at a later time. _________________________________________________ The most noteworthy thing with this election however is the great success of the watered down and judaized, but still partly sound, nationalistic party in the Sweden Democrats. It went from 5.8% to 12.9%, to the great shock and teary-eyed dismay of the establishment, and is the elections' only real winner. It now has an even stronger position as a balance of power between the two red/green and "conservative" coalition blocks, to the point where neither will be able to form a satisfying governing majority without being at the whim of the Sweden Democrats capaple of tipping the scales. Needless to say, they are now going to have a hard time upholding their traitor multilateral-agreement of isolating the Sweden democrats from all influence on the nation wrecking immigration policies, unless they go full-hog one party state with a historical rival social democrat-moderate big coalition, which is on the other hand not at this point entirely implausible. When this has been tried in other European countries, we know that the backlash has been very severe against the establisment, and that the disillusionment could quickly propel the Sweden Democrats to 20% levels and beyond, which the establishment on the other hand of course least of all want. Quite a dilemma indeed for the traitor cadre! And to think that many still thought that the Sweden Democrats would only last one term before falling out of parliament and withering away from the political scene. Fredrik Reinfeldt, the sitting conservative block-premier, stepped down on the eve of the election after the results were in and also declared his plan to withdraw from the party leadership position this spring, before now going in effect incognito and under ground for 3 days and counting. A remarkable and slightly shocking reaction from this narcissistic sycophant that has done so much harm to the country, and that has Stalinistically instigated and upheld the extreme record-breaking immigration mongering hard-line within his party and coalition, as this leaves him as a lame duck and his party (second biggest) in effect leaderless as the crucial and very much undecided government negotiations now awaits. A slightly bizarre and surprising way of handling things for this admittedly sly and collected statesman, and a highly disloyal one to his party and his coalition, as he was not at all obliged to resign as premier at this point with the very murky parliamentary situation that now faces us, as the rival social democrat/green/left coalition combined alone only reached just short of 45% of the constitutionally necessary 50% to take him down. The conservative sitting government block in turn reached a result of just under 40%. Reinfeldt's actions becomes more comprehensible however if he now intends to really get the hell out of this country, that he has never really cared for or felt affiliated to in any real sense, and leave it to whatever misery that now may come its way, and instead land himself some big paying job in the EU, the IMF or some big jew bank, far, far away from the consequences of his grotesque policies, which is most likely the case. If all ongoing and coming negotiations now fail, and no newly formed coalition succeeds in securing majority support for itself and its budget, the constitution demands for a new-election, which would be the first in Sweden since 1958. This is definitely in the cards now as a possibility. The Sweden democrats, flawed as they are, are basically the only ones that are coming off as calm and reasonable at this point, as they have openly declared that they are willing to work with anyone in a responsible way to form a stable government, if they can receive concessions as regards the even by contemporary sick European standards off the charts immigration levels. Whatever now follows in the bickering and irritated negotiations between the other parties, the Sweden democrats will probably stand to gain from it, and if indeed a new election is called, expect them to gain even more, especially from the moderates who are now as mentioned leaderless and at the risk of disintegrating, and that have already lost many % of disillusioned voters directly to the Swedish democrats, which in fact was the main trend that decided the election. If I have failed in sketching out the very rough outlines of the situation in a somewhat understandable way, it is only partly the fault of my own because the situation really is in disarray, and everyone, including the party tops, finds themselves in a mildly disoriented state. Updates to follow on what is to come. Last edited by Solskeniskyn; September 18th, 2014 at 02:38 AM. |

I'm generally reluctant to post counter-jihad stuff, but this is Fjordman at Gates of Vienna's take:
Thoughts on the Elections in Sweden by Fjordman Sweden held national elections on September 14, 2014. As was expected beforehand, the ruling coalition government of Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt announced defeat and will step down, after having been in power since 2006. Sweden’s likely new Prime Minister is the Social Democrat Stefan Löfven. However, the Sweden Democrats, the only significant political party to oppose the ongoing mass immigration and widely demonized by the mainstream media for doing so, became the country’s third-largest party at nearly 13 percent. They entered parliament for the first time in 2010. Since the other parties have vowed to isolate the SD, this could make the formation of a new government challenging. The election campaign in 2014 marked the first time when established politicians from other parties admitted that mass immigration actually costs a lot of money. It’s not at all “good for the economy”, a lie that has been systematically repeated for decades. It is likely that the presence of the Sweden Democrats has finally forced the other parties to at least hint that there could be problems related to mass immigration. The establishment still does not give a full account of just how much it costs, though. Even very low estimates indicate that the current Third World mass immigration costs the country tens of billions of kroner every single year. A higher estimate indicates that immigration could cost Swedish taxpayers a couple of hundred billion kroner annually, after the cost of rising crime and other factors are included in the calculations. The natives are thereby funding their own colonization and gradual displacement. This bill keeps rising year by year. Over the years, I have probably written at least as much about Sweden as about Norway, despite being Norwegian myself. Sweden is the largest country in the Nordic region. When people from other parts of the world refer to the Scandinavian welfare state model, they sometimes call it the Nordic model or the Scandinavian model. Often, however, they simply refer to it as the Swedish model. Perhaps that is one of the primary reasons why Sweden is currently disintegrating at a rapid pace. Swedes have created the self-image that their country may not be a very large country, but it is a very important country. A model society for all of mankind, a kind of humanitarian superpower. The European countries where the ethnic displacement of the native population has gone the furthest are France and Britain, especially England. Yet at least these nations once oversaw large colonial empires in other parts of the world. Sweden has never had an extensive colonial history outside of Europe. Nor is it situated geographically close to Africa or the Middle East, the way Spain, Italy and Greece are. The Mediterranean region is now being hit by a continuously rising wave of illegal immigrants from Africa, the Middle East and parts of Asia. Sweden’s gradual disintegration is primarily due to ideology. Even some illegal immigrants who get a toehold in southern European countries such as Greece quickly want to move on to northern Europe. These countries have more generous welfare states, with Sweden being one of the most generous of all. The Sweden Democrats have more than doubled in size between 2010 and 2014. Is this good news? By all means, yes. Will it halt Sweden’s descent into the abyss? Probably not. It may not even slow it down by much, since all of the other parties are entirely in favor of mass immigration, including the so-called conservatives. After all, 87% of Swedish voters in 2014 still voted for more mass immigration. The demographic changes in Sweden that have been set in motion are astonishingly rapid. Absorbing 100,000 immigrants or more every year is a lot for a small Scandinavian nation. Many of these newcomers will bring relatives or spouses from their original homelands. Unless some serious changes happen soon, young ethnic Swedes today will live to be turned into a minority in their own country. A few minor cosmetic changes to immigration policies is no longer enough. The time for that is now past. Of course, neither Sweden nor other European countries can regain effective control over their borders and legislation until they leave the EU. I have been arguing for a decade now that Sweden’s suicidal immigration policies are so bad that it should be viewed as a potential threat to the economy, stability and security of neighboring countries. I stand by that assessment. It takes only a short drive by car across one bridge to travel from southern Sweden to Denmark’s capital city, Copenhagen. Finland, too, shares a land and sea border with Sweden. The country that is most at risk of importing Sweden’s diversity problems on top of its own, however, is Norway. Norway shares a land border of more than 1,600 kilometers with Sweden. Due to its considerable oil wealth, it is also the wealthiest of the Scandinavian nations. Sweden still has money and is not bankrupt. Not yet. The authorities have many productive citizens they can squeeze for taxes to pay the bills. This will not last forever, however. Not under the increasing burdens of costs related to immigration and population replacement. Despite this, there is hesitation in Norway to talk openly about Sweden’s problems and how this may affect others. Symptomatically, when the Swedish artist Dan Park was sentenced to six months in jail in the summer of 2014 because the authorities did not like his art, this triggered many critical articles in newspapers in Denmark. In Norway, the case largely met with silence. I called Sweden “soft-totalitarian” in some of the essays I published years ago. Frankly speaking, I am not so sure about the soft part. If a state sentences an artist to six months in jail simply because it does not approve of his art, then it is totalitarian, plain and simple. I have Swedish friends who are horrified about what is going on and do their best to halt the downward spiral. This is not an easy task in a society where you risk being fired from your job, and perhaps physically assaulted by left-wing extremists in your own home, simply for opposing your own national destruction. I will continue to support Swedes who do good work. However, for outsiders, Sweden is no longer a model country. It has now become a case study in national self-destruction, and a cautionary tale of what not to do. It is not certain whether even voting for the Sweden Democrats is now enough to turn things around in Sweden. That being said, at least Swedish voters have one significant party represented in Parliament that is serious about substantially reducing the flow of immigration. It is not clear whether this remains true of Norway. Between 2013 and 2014, the right-wing Progress Party for the first time entered into government in Norway. Admittedly, Prime Minister Erna Solberg is from the Conservative Party. This is also a minority government that needs support from other parties. As the junior partner in a minority government, one cannot expect the Progress Party to perform miracles. Yet they could at least do something. If not, they should acknowledge this and resign. So far, they have done almost nothing to reduce a rate of mass immigration that has made Oslo one of the fastest-growing cities in Europe. The Danish People’s Party in Denmark has had a greater influence over the country’s immigration policies outside of government than the Progress Party in Norway has had within government. After the partial failure of the Progress Party, many Norwegians ask themselves whether there is a single party represented in their Parliament that is serious about reducing mass immigration. In this respect, Norway could actually be worse than Sweden. http://gatesofvienna.net/2014/09/tho...en/#more-34247 |

I, as many others I'm sure, appreciate your updates regarding Swedish nationalism. Has anything happened since the elections? I gather it was a huge disappointment, no?

Apparently they've decided to quit updating www.realisten.se which was run by party-members. So now they essentially have no news media as I understand it.

Why isn't that just lovely.
And what is the great Swedish "NS hero" of our time Mikael Skilt going to do about it? Snipe at Russians in their homeland of the Donbass, in between flying on jewish oligarch's private jets.

Political parties are a thing of the past. We are in the concentration camps run by jews. The only way to escape those camps is by force. Do prison guards care about the votes of prisoners. No, and neither do the kikes care about our votes. Force is the only language they understand. Force is how they control us and force is how we will free our selves. mightisright.net

Party of the Swedes is radically different party from the Sweden Democrats. Not judging you, I got confused about that myself not long ago. Their names are generic and easy to confuse.

Well, a lot has happened since the elections. Things that really started before then but was kept quiet due to focus on the election.
The Party of the Swedes tried the "big tent" strategy. All nationalists (everyone more radical than the Sweden Democrats) should gather under their banner. This started out good but as time passed the different fractions just couldn´t hold together. We have the old guard of national socialists who got the party started (Party of the Swedes came from the old National Socialist Front). We have identitarians. We have libertarian nationalists. We have National Democrats and Sweden Democrats who got kicked out of their respective parties. Everyone tried to impose their take on different questions. The only thing the Party of the Swedes could really gather around was the immigration question. In economics, foreign policy, taxes etc, everything was kept vague not to "scare away" potential voters or cause disharmony within the party. This did not work out well in the end. I don't think the election result was a total catastrophe, even though the result was far below the party´s expectations. But the party morale was totally damaged. The key question, in my opinion, was the take on the situation in Ukraine. When people at motgift.nu, a website connected to the party but still "independent", started an initiative to gather people to actually go down to Ukraine to fight for the "nationalists" (ie: jewish oligarchs), things just went horribly wrong. A lot of people thought they had gone to far and a this started a huge uproar against motgift.nu. The party eventually understood that they had to do something about the situation and made a statement that it was unacceptable for party members to go down to fight in Ukraine (even though this was actually started by a party fraction!). The party said that Mikael Skillt had to leave the party due to his actions (he is still in Azov, by the way..). But too little too late. The damage was done and the party never really recovered. Since the election the Swedish Resistance Movement have announced that they are starting a parliamentary wing of their organization, and this of course caused further split within the Swedish national movement. The Resistance Movement will not opt for the big tent strategy, but rather go all out National Socialism. Probably a lot of the old guard National Socialists from Party of the Swedes will join them rather than stay in the disorganized SvP. We will see what the future holds. |

Sweden prepares for record asylum arrivals
04 Nov 2014 Sweden’s Migration Board says it expects 83,000 asylum seekers will have moved to the country by the end of the year, 3000 more than it previously predicted. Ongoing fighting in Iraq and Syria has already led to a sharp rise in asylum applications in Sweden. In April, Sweden’s Migration Board predicted that 61,000 people would apply this year, but by September it said it expected to assist 80,000 people by January 2015. On Tuesday that figure was increased again to 83,000. This is about as many as in 1992, when record numbers arrived during the Balkans war. "This is a different situation from the Balkans," said the Chief Operating Officer for Sweden's Migration board Michael Ribbenvik. "That was a temporary peak, now we do not think that the flow of refugees will subside. We believe the conflict in Syria will not be slowing down. Iraq is heading in the wrong direction, Afghanistan is uncertain and we see no improvement in the dictatorship of Eritrea," he revealed at a press conference on Tuesday. With around 2,000 people arriving each week, there are signs that the influx of asylum seekers and refugees is starting to cause tensions in Sweden, a traditionally open and tolerant country. As more people seek to resettle in Sweden, public costs are rising. "I know that it will cause tension. I therefore appeal to the Swedish people to show patience and to open their hearts,” said former Prime Minister and Moderate Party leader Fredrik Reinfeldt in a key speech earlier this year. How the Sweden Democrats went mainstream A major problem is that different municipalities in Sweden have adopted slightly different approaches to refugees, with some offering less protection for refugees than others. This means that new immigrants tend to cluster in certain areas such as Skåne and Stockholm. In September’s general election the nationalist anti-immigration Sweden Democrats won 12.9 percent of the vote and became the third largest party in Sweden. Sweden's Migration Board also announced its full forecast for 2015 on Tuesday, suggesting that 95,000 asylum seekers would land in Sweden, 16,000 than previously forecast. This would be a record for the country. http://www.thelocal.se/20141104/swed...um-seeker-hike |

Swedish journalist union imposes self-censorship
2014 11 05 From: swedenreport.org Comment: Diversity of opinion, Swedish style! Big congratulations to the Swedish journalist union for doing what they can to terminate Sweden’s long tradition of the freedom of the press and move Sweden even further towards censorship The Swedish journalist union today unanimously voted through a change in the statutes that effectively muzzles non-leftist journalists in general and anyone writing anything positive about the nationalist party SD in particular. The new clause is worded exactly like those of other unions, where anyone found to be an SD-supporter is immediately excluded, and the same wording that was used to ban Fox News. “All union functionaries must [...] enforce and act to in accordance with the principle of people’s equal value,” in popular Orwellian newspeak. In effect, it makes a free and unbiased media impossible, since anyone found not singing leftist praises equals not supporting “people’s equal value” equals exclusion from the union equals likely unemployment. In other words, the predominantly leftist journalist union has imposed the same kind of censorship on the few non-leftist journalists that is usually seen in dictatorships. The Swedish journalist union has about 17 000 members, making it a dominant force amongst the 20 000 journalists. [i'm putting all swedish news in here as #1 thread, even though it's a party-specific thread; turned #1 scandinavian thread into #1 norway / breivik thread]
“You Have Caused a Catastrophe for Sweden” Posted on November 14, 2014 by Baron Bodissey On November 12, 2014 Kent Ekeroth, an MP for the Sweden Democrats, gave the following speech about Multiculturalism and Islamization at the Swedish Parliament. Many thanks to Alfred Fredriksson for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling: Transcript: 00:07 Mr. Speaker, 00:09 An air castle can be defined as fantastic and grandiose dreams without any basis in reality, 00:16 and this describes well the entire political establishment, partly represented here in front of me, 00:21 who have created the multicultural mass-immigration society, and I think that deep down 00:28 most of you realize that this air castle has collapsed, and that you have caused a catastrophe for Sweden. 00:33 We can see this in our municipalities if nothing else. Sure, you stick to your nice buzzwords about 00:38 “everybody’s equal worth”, which has nothing to do with what kind of immigration policies we should pursue, 00:44 and sure, you want to keep your well-paid jobs, your fancy titles and your social lives. 00:51 And sure, for decades now you have painted yourselves into a corner which will be hard to escape. 00:56 But I think many of you realize what you have actually done. 01:01 And when [former prime minister] Reinfeldt was forced to admit to the enormous costs of mass immigration, it was only the tip of the iceberg. 01:08 Probably even more important in the long term is that mass immigration and multiculturalism destroy that which holds society together, 01:16 social capital and social trust. Countries with high social trust usually have a stable democracy, 01:24 a strong economy, good public health, low corruption, low crime and a high level of equality. 01:32 In the Nordic countries this social trust is very high. We have excelled at this compared to other countries. 01:38 Professor Lars Trägårdh has spent a lot of time researching Swedish and Nordic social trust. 01:47 He says that Swedish social trust was possible because the population was homogeneous. 01:53 I know that you don’t like to hear this, but that doesn’t make it any less true. 01:57 And my recommendation is to accept this fact instead of denying it ad absurdum like you do with everything else. 02:03 The research rapport “The Frosty Swedish Trust” shows that municipalities with the least trust in the local community 02:12 have large economic gaps and a large number of foreigners. 02:16 And I quote “our results show that individuals who live in areas with diversity have less trust in their local communities. 02:24 This connection is very strong even when taking account to socioeconomic status.” 02:32 Swedish social trust is not something that came about as a result of the welfare society and the Social Democrats, if that’s what you think. 02:39 It has been intact for a thousand years, 02:41 and you have in one generation begun to dismantle it according to research which shows that social trust is decreasing. 02:47 International research shows the exact same pattern if you had cared enough to read it. 02:53 Robert Putnam’s conclusion was that people “turn into turtles” in multicultural societies; 02:58 the common trust, the sense of community, the solidarity and citizens engagement in society declines. 03:03 A research rapport by Jorddahl and Gustavsson shows a clear connection between multiculturalism and decreased social trust in Sweden. 03:12 Professor Vernon Bogdanor writes that the sense of community is dependent on how homogeneous the country is. 03:18 Professor Costa has written a meta-analysis that summarizes fifteen research reports, all of which reached the conclusion 03:25 that more homogeneous societies provide higher levels of social capital, which is what binds a community together; 03:30 it is what makes people willing to pay taxes to help others. 02:33 As if it weren’t enough that you waste enormous amounts of money on mass immigration, which means cuts in other areas of the budget, 03:39 at the same time you dismantle a extremely fragile and thousand-year-old Swedish culture 03:45 which was the basis for the fantastic and successful Sweden, 03:50 The Swedes’ social trust, their sense of community, the social capital, 03:54 and history will judge you all extremely harshly for this. 04:00 Speaker: Thank you. 04:04 [Lawen Redar, member of parliament for the Social Democrats wants to ask a question] 04:12 Islamophobia [Speaker interrupts reminding her to address him] Mr. Speaker, Islamophobia is a term which 04:17 includes hate, racism and stereotypes directed at Muslims. In its worst form this manifests in hate crimes, 04:25 religious persecution, discrimination, but also in culturally racist generalizations 04:29 regarding Muslim culture’s features, as you call it. 04:33 But for a party that has declared that they have zero tolerance towards racism, 04:38 I am very interested to hear what kind of anti-racist policies the Sweden Democrats have, 04:43 and what you want to do to combat Islamophobia in society. 04:48 We don’t see “Islamophobia” as a phobia, as it is called, because a phobia is an irrational fear of something; 04:53 we don’t see this as a big problem in society today. A big problem, which is growing rapidly, is 04:57 the hostility towards Swedes which has been established in our schools and even all the way up to the government. 05:02 Mona Sahlin, Fredrik Reinfeldt and others have described Swedish culture as barbaric, 05:06 and Mona Sahlin taunts Swedish culture and says that it is stupid and silly. 05:11 In our schools, which I visited during the election and where I have studied, it is the widespread hostility towards Swedes 05:18 which is the single largest problem, when people are victimized in their own country 05:22 because they are Swedes by immigrant groups. There are 05:26 already countless anti-racist and anti-Islamophobia programs in this country. 05:32 If there anything that needs to be done, it is to make an effort against hostility towards Swedes 05:37 and against these immigrant groups who come here with a hatred for the country they have migrated to 05:41 and the people who created it. That is where we need to focus on. http://gatesofvienna.net/2014/11/you...he-for-sweden/ |
