There have been crossbreeds shot. Apparently, with the polar cap melting, Polar bears are ranging farther out. Who can resist a White bear?

I grew up on rabbit, squirrel, and a lot of coon. Dad sometimes got 300+ coon in a season. In rural Missouri, we ate coon all year. Young out "of season" coon tastes best. Farmers don't care when you kill a coon. When dad had a good season with lots of furs, we had a good Christmas. I was the only kid in my school with a real coonskin Davy Crockett cap. Coon are one of the most common animals in the USA, and without being hunted, they wreak havoc with farmer's crops and grain stores. They crap in the grain. That is the grain that becomes your breakfast cereal.

I copied and pasted the entire online article, instead of the clipping, so that it could get ran through a translator program: https://www.google.nl/search?q=badis...2F%3B265%3B239 http://www.badische-zeitung.de/panor...-99326426.html Quote:

My neighbors have a Jackass, he's a really friendly little guy, about the size of a pony.
I stop by the fence now and then to feed him some carrots etc. He's always happy to see anyone who comes by to visit. |
