The LAST of the true Country music Male giants. The last one that always had one foot in the artists and traditions of the past, before Gram Parsons and the hippies and other non-Country music styles of the late '60s / '70s,and the drugs they took, began to subvert, affect and ruin all popular music styles with their lyrics and attitudes,and ruin Country and ,little by little,make it into the shit it's turned into ever since.

Loretta Lynn is ,more or less,the truly last of the pre-6660s greats left.
