(JTA) — To everything there is a season. June is Pride season, one where LGBTQ people proudly refuse to choose between our identities and our demand for the freedom to live equally and without fear.

A Wider Bridge, which builds meaningful relationships between LGBTQ people in North America and Israel, has always stood for our ability to celebrate all our identities without being forced into boxes. This year is no exception. And this year it’s especially personal to me.

Just last week I was saddened to see vile antisemitic hate against Manny’s, a cherished establishment in San Francisco, when it was vandalized with “Zionist Pigz” to intimidate the owner and like-minded Jews for their Zionism. We stand with Manny, a Wider Bridge trip alum, as he refuses to choose between his LGBTQ identity and his Zionism.

Another friend of mine and A Wider Bridge recently saw her synagogue vandalized with swastikas. A non-Jewish member of our Wider Bridge family has been verbally attacked just for saying that he likes traveling to Israel.

With all the progress made by the LGBTQ community over the past few decades, it is easy to forget that most of Pride’s history has been a season of protest. It began in 1969 with the Stonewall riots, where brave individuals – including trans, Black and brown heroes — stood up to police brutality. It continued with our communities demanding an end to discrimination in the workplace and in housing, and forcing our leaders to face the AIDS crisis head-on.

That spirit of protest and courage must stay alive today. We must refuse to choose one identity over another, stay in solidarity with those who feel forced to choose between their LGBTQ identity and their Zionism, and refuse to live in fear. Nobody should have to choose between their activism and their safety.

We are proud to support Israel not in spite of, but because of our progressive values.

Compared with their peers, transgender youth suffer higher rates of depression, suicide, substance abuse and homelessness. A bookshop chain in Hungary has been fined for selling a children’s story depicting a day in the life of a child with same-sex parents, with officials condemning the picture book for featuring such families.

The picture book, Micsoda család!, is a Hungarian translation combining two titles by US author Lawrence Schimel and illustrator Elīna Brasliņa: Early One Morning, which shows a young boy’s morning with his two mothers, and Bedtime, Not Playtime!, in which a young girl with two fathers is reluctant to go to sleep.

Schimel wrote on Twitter that the Hungarian government is “trying to normalise hate and prejudice with these concerted attacks against books like mine … which represent for kids the plural and diverse world they live in.”

He told the Guardian that the idea for the books was to “celebrate queer families, to put more queer joy into the world, so that the only books available to children weren’t about conflicts”.

Report Shows How ‘Queer Creators’ Spent Years Pushing the LGBTQ Agenda in Children’s TV Programs

The increase of LGBTQ characters and themes popping up in TV shows made for children in the last decade is not an organic development. It’s the consequence of so-called “queer creators” pushing the LGBTQ agenda and working with major entertainment networks, writers, producers, showrunners, and directors to place sexualized themes into on-screen fare made for young audiences.

A recent, extensive report by Entertainment Insider highlights the increase of LGBTQ messaging in children’s programming, and explains that LGBTQ activists behind the scenes have made it happen.

Taneka Stotts, a “genderfluid” writer on Steven Universe: Future, told Insider that nonbinary, bisexual showrunner creator Rebecca Sugar “went out of the way” to make sure a show was staffed by so-called “inclusive” standards, and that new talent was searched for on platforms like Twitter and Tumblr, rather than traditional hiring avenues.

“Visible queer content and multiple queer creators means no one has to feel isolated the way that I did,” Sugar said.

One transgender showrunner, Shadi Petosky, told Insider that it isn’t enough for LGBTQ activists to simply get roles within the entertainment industry, they must also make sure that pro-LGBTQ content makes it into the shows.

Jewish Intellectuals Call On Gays To Perform Sex Acts In Front Of Children

Leading "LGBT" intellectuals are responding to public demands that they stop performing public sex acts in front of small children at "Pride" parades by doubling down.

Joseph J. Fischel, a Jewish queer theorist at Yale, recently published a piece in Boston Review arguing that performing perverted homosexual acts in front of children is important because it teaches them to reject racism, sexism and homophobia, as well introducing them to visual stimuli he hopes will arose them.

In the essay, he dismisses concerns that performing sex acts in front of children brought to "Pride" by their homosexual parents is wrong because they can't "consent." According to Fischel, this perspective is "racist" and "bad for children." He refers to writings by transsexual blue check Julia Serrano, who states that people wearing wedding rings and publicly expressing right-wing political beliefs violate its consent, and so nobody has a right to demand that "kink" and public sodomy be banned from gay parades.

To build his argument from a legal standpoint, Fischel relies on Brenda Cossman, Stuart Green, Richard Posner and Joel Feinberg -- all of them Jewish academic legal theorists -- who argue that public sex acts in front of unsuspecting people are no more offensive than racist or "offensive" political speech, and that the distinction between private and public behavior is arbitrary, heteronormative, and should be done away with.

By shielding their children from displays of gay sex acts, parents are merely projecting their own puritanical impulses onto their children, argues Fischel:

When parents or people ventriloquizing parents oppose public indecency at Pride on the grounds that it may upset children, the opposite is more likely the case: their children might like it, and that upsets the parents, not the children. What is the presumptive harm if a child happens upon a guy sporting a chest harness, or sees an adult’s butt cheeks, or even an adult’s genitals or breasts? Would such children necessarily feel violated, or might adults be feeling violated on their behalf? Might the child be as likely to respond with curiosity?

According to the author, shocking children at any age by deliberately showing them grotesque sex acts functions to challenge their "heteronormative" default, as well as potentially make them "curious" and get them to "like it."

Fischel expresses confusion over white liberals attending "pride" parades with their families because it is fashionable wanting to sanitize the deviant acts performed. He draws parallels to research conducted by recently deceased Jewish "gender studies" author Lauren Berlant on homosexual behavior, including an anecdote about a performance at a gay bar where a man force feeds a much younger man until he repeatedly vomits. According to Fischel, obscene displays of non-reproductive sex in public are radical acts that should be expected and encouraged at gay events.

Last September, National Justice wrote a piece warning that the Jewish community was preparing a push to normalize pedophilia. According to numerous gay and Jewish intellectuals, exposing young children to sex and engaging them in it is the pinnacle of anti-fascist activism and the ultimate blow to the "authoritarian" personality that Jews believe led to the populist movements that gave rise to figures like Hitler and Mussolini.

According to research conducted by Western Journal, multiple members of the San Francisco Gay Chorus behind the recent controversial video "We're coming for your children" are convicted child molesters.

The mainstream media has responded to outrage over pedophiles singing songs about coming for people's children by referring to critics as bigots and claiming to be victims of threats.

There does not appear to be a credible opponent to the "queer" power structure, which is backed by Wall Street and heavily infiltrated the government, media and academia. Both parties now celebrate homosexual and deviant behavior, even though racial minority blocs in the Democratic Party and the GOP's rural white Christian base do not generally approve. Recently, the transsexual activist Caitlyn Jenner, who has launched a doomed bid to become Governor of California, was a headliner at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

That high profile homosexuals no longer feel the need to hide their true aspirations reveals that normal people in America will be expected to pull the front line back yet again in the fight to resist extreme forms of sexual depravity.

A gay men’s choir put out a video saying that they were ‘coming for your children’ and a school district began teaching sexually explicit material to third graders. By pushing this, LGBT groups are risking a very ugly backlash.

Isaac Newton’s third law of motion holds that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Though this does apply to physics, it can also apply to culture and society. Back in the early 2000s, the religious right in America pushed for the government to canonize traditional marriage and institute several state bans on same-sex unions. They were met with a large amount of pushback from the LGBT lobby. Ultimately, those bans were deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, and the rainbow flag waved proudly over the cultural battlefield.

As time has gone on, the LGBT political lobby has continued to push into the culture with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer hitting a glass table. Recently, the San Francisco Gay Men’s choir put out a video it has since deleted stating that they were “coming for your kids.” Though they claimed it was satirical, I doubt any parent who worries about the safety of his or her child thought it was very funny.

As we have come to expect, the cowardly Republican Party is*bowing down*to the Cult of LGBTQP (the P stands for pedophiles) with new legislation that aims to make “transgenders” a special federally protected class.

Twenty-one House Republicans have reportedly*signed on*to new legislation introduced by Rep. Chris Stewart of Utah,*a Mormon, which would provide exclusive protections to people with confused sexual orientation and gender identity.

Entitled the “Fairness For All Act” (FFAA), Rep. Stewart’s “all-Republican” bill has been offered up in exchange for specific “right to discriminate” carve-outs for dissident religious organizations – presumably the Mormon religion.

Christians, meanwhile, have no special protections, and neither do white people or conservatives. Stewart and his co-sponsors appear to be concerned only about Mormons and LGBTQPs. (RELATED: the American Medical Association (AMA) also*wants to criminalize*people who criticize transgenders.)

Rep. Stewart has introduced this legislation in the past, by the way. It was shot down in 2019, only to be resurrected in February 2021. It now has 20 other House Republicans who are also on board:
