Nazi Symbols - The Story Behind the Imagery
I came across this short documentary today and found it informative. It's worth taking a look at since it will probably be taken down soon.

I came across this facinatiing documentary, I had always heard the SS recruited some 'bad apples' but this is the first documentary I've found on the subject..
Just for info purposes, my Grandfather (who I never met) was in the SS. |

This so-called historian's explanation of the National-Socialist Swastika is generic and lacking in insightfulness and historical accuracy. I watched this video several months back and sent the historian a message on his Facebook page. Explaining the following:
The Meaning Of The Swastika Banner "In red we see the social idea of the movement, in white the nationalistic idea, in the swastika the mission of the struggle for the victory of the Aryan man, and, by the same token, the victory of the idea of creative work." (Mein Kampf pg. 496-497) Note the initials of the artist below! How Adolf Hitler drew opposing swastikas to depict the evolutionary forces in Nature. The Jew is depicted as a destroyer of civilisation. The Aryan as a creator. The left-hand swastika is anti-evolutionary (negative), while the right-hand Swastika is evolutionary (positive). According to Hitler's own words in Mein Kampf, the swastika represents order and evolution [by the same token, the victory of the idea of creative work,] as opposed to chaos and involution. A Sanskrit scholar P. R. Sarkar in 1979 said that the deeper meaning of the word swastika is ‘Permanent Victory’ (Hail Victory!). He also said that as any symbol it can have positive and negative meaning depending on how it is drawn. So in Hinduism, the right-hand swastika is a symbol of the God Vishnu and the Sun, while the left-hand swastika is a symbol of Kali and Magic. Permanent Victory (Moksha) is man's soul finally achieving immortality with God by escaping the reincarnation cycle through the natural process of evolution of body, mind and spirit. Moksha means salvation in Hinduism: Page 6: "The Wälsungen-Orden made use of both the swastika and the phrase ‘Heil und Sieg’ (Hail and Victory, or Salvation and Victory) around 1918 in their newsletter." “Salvation and Victory to the glorious Germanic future!” The Nazis' use of "Sieg Heil": A Point of Continuity with the Völkisch Movement "Hail Victory" The National-Socialist greeting of Sieg Heil (Hail Victory) was the völkisch equivalent of Permanent Victory. The Völkisch movement embraced a diverse range of religious beliefs, including Hinduism which had ancient Aryan origins.

https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olof_Thunberg She's got some weird looking relatives. In Norway/Sweden/Denmark there seems to be at least two distinct (pre-invasion) peoples, the beautiful elf-like ones, and a small, squat type. Some of them have that really broad, almost negro looking nose like Greta's. I wish I knew more about this situation. |
