I think the vast majority are ignorant of the seriousness of the present day politically correct rules. They don't even think about it but will inevitably come across a story that showcases the absurdity of such rules. When that happens they will acknowledge the absurdity and then assume common sense will prevail without ever following up on the story. Of course PC typically comes out on top but the masses never learn the end of the story.

I hope the confederate flag fiasco and the attacks on southern memorials are opening some eyes.
