Greek National Socialists clash with the Reds

Some 150 National Socialists clashed with members of the Greek Communist Party and its youth organization in Thessaloniki last week.

Three people were injured in brawls, in which the participants were armed with clubs, tasers and iron chains. Fireworks were also thrown. In addition to fighting with the Marxists, the National Socialists also targeted reporters, according to media accounts. There were six arrests & an additional 40 people were "detained" by the police.

The Golden Dawn's Youth Front issued a statement congratulating the anti-communist demonstrators.
