In some of the tv-shows which were mentioned japs have had their hand. japs are known for supposedly being "good animators"...
But I totally detest that anime/manga stuff coming out of japan today. There might be cartoon series where japs have had their hands in that we are not even aware of. Tip: look at the credits |

Yer right , unfortunately japs are even brought in often when it comes to animations dealing with strictly European flavour ( such as 'The Last Unicorn' ( a movie based on European mythology ) or even that 'Ulysses 31' series I linked which transforms antique European pagan sagas into a futuristic age ) . . On a side note , I find it interesting how so many story-ideas merely transport things from the past into a futuristic age . . 'Ulysses 31' is based on 'The Odyssey' and 'Bravestarr transports the Wild West into a futuristic age . . as was already said in this thread https://vnnforum.com/showthread.php?...37#post2273737 there are even attempts to transport ancient Rome into a futuristic age . . |

. . Professor Ratigan . .
. . arch-nemesis of the 'great mouse-detective' . . lol . . It was the Disney-version of 'Sherlock Holmes' . . As one can easily figure out 'Basil' and 'Ratigan' were based on Holmes and Professor Moriarty. |

I had to do a double-take, I thought Garrett was talking about Felix the Cat.

Dr. Blight from the 'Captain Planet'-show . .
. . . now , nothing against the environment but this show ,without a doubt, was multicultural propaganda . . . . . the fact that this broad had a 100% Aryan appearance is even more lamentable as she was featured as one of the 'baddies'. Apart from that ,one hell of a bad-ass-bitch . . . and an Aryan hot-ass-bitch at that . . . despite the show having been multicultural propaganda . . |

I think the black guy was the commander of the NASA astronauts in the short-lived Planet Of The Apes cartoon from 1975. In the original 1968 movie, the black astronaut Dodge was killed and taxidermied for the ape museum exhibit where Charlton Heston finds him later.
The Simpsons did it best:

You know, I haven't thought for many years about some of the more obscure old cartoons I watched as a kid like Rambo and Planet Of The Apes which only went about one season each. But it is fun to reminisce about them.

Peanuts
When I was a kid, Charles Schulz's 'Peanuts' was popular ... Kinda reminds me of the spankings Gladiatrix regularly receives on VNNF Last edited by T.Garrett; August 8th, 2019 at 01:37 PM. |

Oh hell, how did I forget Peanuts?
When Charles Schulz died in 2000, and new Peanuts comics ended, I felt like part of my childhood died. Snoopy vs. the Red Baron was my favorite. P.S.--don't you wish Charlie Brown had kicked the crap out of Lucy for moving the football right before he kicked it and Charlie landed flat on his butt so many times?
