Greece: Hunt for Albanian escapees biggest police op of decade

By Katerina Nikolas
Jul 7, 2013 -

The hunt for the Albanian prisoners who escaped from a Greek prison in March has turned into the largest police operation of the decade. Since the escape the convicts have been on a spree of robbery and murder.

These are the kind of events that inspire movies. Greek police have launched the biggest manhunt in a decade as they pursue the fugitives that escaped from Trikala prison as they make their way to the Albanian border through the mountainous terrain of northern Greece.
Three of the original 11 escapees were apprehended shortly after the mass escape. Another was shot dead, along with an uncle who aided the escape, just over a week ago. Media has reported the escapees planned to spring another Albanian compatriot from another Greek jail but their plans were thwarted.
The Albanian criminals have committed the cold blooded murder of a policeman in Dostimo, and shot 25-year-old Katerina Zogali dead. They were also responsible for a one million euro bank heist in May. Altogether they have been linked to 69 robberies since their escape.
According to Proto Thema the seven remaining fugitives have been living like wild animals in the mountains for the past 20 days, as they edge closer to Albania. They are being tracked with thermal cameras. Newsit reports that the police operation is hampered by the number of tourists in the area that could be used as hostages by the armed criminals.
The drama continues to unfold as police intensify their searches despite the risk of facing dangerous men armed with Kalashnikovs.

Default Fucking Niggers

As Italy was kind of the trigger for this thread let us go back in time some 22 years to 1991 and see what was happening. Keep in mind this was before the US/NATO engineered Kosovo 'crisis'.

Article is two years old

20th Anniversary of the Arrival at Bari, Italy of 15,000 Albanian Boat People

Twenty years ago, on 8 August 1991, several ships carrying approximately 15,000 Albanian migrants succeeded in entering the port of Bari, Italy. The Italian government’s response was harsh. Most of the Albanians were detained in a sports stadium without adequate food, water, or access to bathrooms. Italian authorities dropped supplies to the detained migrants by helicopter. Within several weeks most of the migrants were deported to Albania. Their harsh treatment was criticised by human rights organisations and the Pope, but was justified by the Italian government as necessary to deter further irregular migration from Albania.

Excerpts from the 27 January 1992 PACE Report on the Exodus of Albanian Nationals:

THE MASS EXODUS FROM ALBANIA

13. Albania’s forty years of isolation from the rest of the world, combined with its disastrous economic, social and political situation, have had a traumatic effect on its citizens. They feel overwhelmed by hopelessness in the face of Albania’s domestic situation, and although their knowledge of other countries is based solely on what they have heard, or seen on Italian television, they long for the opportunity to start a new life abroad.

14. This general mood became evident after mid-1990 when increasing numbers of asylum-seekers started to leave the country. Distressing images reminded the public in the rest of Europe of a part of the continent which they had forgotten existed.

15. In July 1990, Western embassies in Tirana were besieged by large numbers of Albanian nationals. Some 5 000 people sought to leave the country. Thanks to the mediation of international organisations, and after intensive negotiations, a large number of them managed to obtain visas and were granted political asylum in several European countries, particularly Germany, Italy and France. Some have apparently since returned to Albania.

16. At the end of 1990, some 3 000 Albanian nationals had arrived in Greece by crossing the border between the two countries without meeting any resistance from Albanian border guards. By mid-March 1991, 20 000 Albanians, many of them of Greek ethnic origin, were estimated to have entered Greece. Some of these Albanian nationals have applied to the Greek authorities for political asylum. However, interviews of asylum-seekers have shown clearly that the exodus was not politically motivated but directly linked to the difficult situation prevailing in Albania. The Greek authorities granted work permits to those who found a job and temporary residence permits to the others. Repatriation programmes for all those wishing to return voluntarily were carried out in close co-operation with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

17. On 5 March 1991, a large number of Albanians gathered before the German, French, Greek and Italian Embassies in Tirana, where it was rumoured that visas were going to be distributed. The following day (according to various sources), several boats left the Albanian port of Durres with 20 000 Albanians on board.

18. On 7 March 1991, Albanian ships began arriving at ports in southern Italy (Brindisi, Bari, Otranto and Monopoli). In spite of the Italian authorities’ public refusal to allow the Albanians to land, many managed to do so.

19. On the following day, 8 March 1991, hygiene on the boats had deteriorated to such an extent that landing was unavoidable. Crowds of Albanians settled on the quays of Italian ports to await aid which took several days to arrive, as the Italian authorities were overwhelmed by their sheer number.

20. The Italian authorities claim that 20 000 Albanians arrived in Italy between 7 and 10 March 1991. Negotiations between the authorities in Tirana and Rome subsequently brought the exodus to an end, and Italy has undertaken to discuss with Albania how to eliminate its root causes.

21. Also in March 1991, an undetermined number of Albanians of Serbian and Montenegrin origin attempted to enter Yugoslavia illegally.

22. In June 1991, the Albanian authorities requested the United Nations Development Programme to organise an interagency mission in order to undertake an assessment of Albania’s urgent humanitarian needs. In the field of migration, the mission concluded that the great majority of Albanians who had left the country were seeking improved economic conditions and recommended to the Albanian government that it provide incentives so as to encourage Albanians to remain in their country.

23. During the first days of August 1991 thousands of Albanians reached the western port of Durres and the southern port of Vlora, in the hope of going on board ships that would take them to Italy.

24. The Albanian authorities tried in vain to prevent its citizens from leaving the country by putting the ports under military control and halting passenger trains.

25. On 8 August 1991 an estimated 10 000 Albanian nationals aboard several ships forced their way into the port of Bari in the south-east of Italy and approximately 1 000 into the port of Otranto. Moreover, 675 Albanians aboard two other ships who tried unsuccessfully to land at ports in Sicily, were diverged to Malta and later returned to Albania.

26. After several hours of waiting in the port of Bari, the Italian authorities allowed the Albanians to disembark for humanitarian reasons and led them to La Vittoria Sports Stadium. As the Italian authorities started forced repatriation using military transport planes and ferries, clashes broke out between policemen and Albanians. The Albanians barricaded themselves in the stadium refusing to return to their country; some 300 succeeded in escaping.

27. The Italian authorities offered the Albanians 50 000 lire (40 US dollars) each and new clothes if they would return home. As this offer did not attract the Albanians, forced repatriation continued.

28. At the same time the Italian Government increased its financial aid to Albania. Right after the repatriation operations food and emergency aid was sent to Albania. On 12 August 1991, the European Community announced an extra 2,3 million US dollars of emergency aid to be used to buy food and medicines.

29. The large majority of Albanians arriving in Italy were claiming to be looking for work and escaping the poor economic situation in their country. The failure to repatriate the 7 000 Albanians who arrived in March 1991 as well as rumours of an immigration agreement between Albania and Italy seemed to encourage this last flow.

30. All of Europe witnessed the dramatic scenes, captured on television news, showing the Albanians being expelled by Italian officials. Although repatriation was legally justified, the way in which the operation was conducted was problematic. The vast majority of the Albanians, according to their accounts of the exodus, fled their country because they felt “buried alive” there. They explained that when the news spread like wildfire that it was possible to leave Albania, lorries were seized in the ensuing rush, ships commandeered, and their crews forced to set sail. It was a form of mass psychosis. It is difficult to determine whether this psychosis was triggered deliberately; rumours suggest that this was the case, but there is no conclusive evidence to support this.

31. The Albanians’ deportation from Italy was beset with problems, and on a number of occasions the police were deployed. The Albanians were particularly distressed to find that despite promises from the Italian authorities to allow some of them to travel to new homes in Italy, they were still sent straight back to Albania.

32. It should be noted, however, that the Italian authorities provided the Albanians with food, clothing and some money.

33. Although there was remarkable sympathy for the Albanians in Italy, the official Italian position was that these persons were seeking economic betterment in Italy and consequently could not be considered as political refugees.

34. From 15 to 17 August the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and UNHCR sent a joint mission to Albania. It discussed with the Albanian authorities issues related to migration, such as:

- the continuation of voluntary return projects from neighbouring countries;

- the planned and orderly emigration of a small number of Albanians to work in industrialised countries;

- the implementation of an information project aimed at informing Albanians of the economic and social situation in neighbouring countries;

- the need to promote, in the mid-term, the reinsertion of returning Albanians, through appropriate vocational training before their return.

35. It must also be recalled that, at the request of the Italian authorities, IOM and UNHCR, in conjunction with the Italian Red Cross, established a programme of voluntary return. As at the end of August 1991, 1 130 Albanians had been assisted by IOM in their voluntary return. The programme was financed by the Italian Government.

36. By the end of December 1991 more than 200 000 Albanians were estimated to have left their country since the exodus began in July 1990. However, the UNHCR considers this figure could be substantially higher.

Serbian, racially Albanians are mostly white, right? To what extent did they mix with the Turks? Looking at random pics I would say the majority of them (or maybe about half) look pretty unmixed, actually. Hard to say.

Austrian ZOG covering up fact its a shiptar

An Albanian from Northern Macedonia is behind the attack in Vienna

Austrian authorities are silent about the identity of the murdered attacker who carried out the terrorist attack in Vienna last night.

SOURCE: TANJUG TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2020 | 09:22

The editor-in-chief of the Viennese magazine "Falter", Florian Klenk, claims that this is a young Viennese of Albanian origin from Northern Macedonia.

"His name is Kurtin S, he was born in 2000 in Vienna, where he grew up. He is of Albanian origin, and his parents are from Northern Macedonia and have nothing to do with Islamism," this well-known Austrian investigative journalist wrote on Twitter.

He stated that the young man, who killed four people and was killed by the police, was known to the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution and Counter-Terrorism Service (BVT), because he was one of the 90 Austrian Islamists who tried to travel to Syria.

In July, Klenk claims, he was prevented from trying to go to the battlefields in Syria.

"However, the authorities did not believe that he could plan a terrorist attack," he added.

Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer confirmed this morning that the killed terrorist was a sympathizer of the Islamic State, without giving further details about his identity.

“We never forget our friends”: Israel, Albania sign friendship agreement

TodayWorld
Published: Dec 21, 2015

BELGRADE – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu greeted the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Monday morning upon his arrival for a two-day visit to Israel, The Jerusalem Post reported. The leaders signed on a friendship agreement and a mutual cooperation agreement between Israel and Albania.

Netanyahu noted that while the signing of the agreements marked 25 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries, the friendship between Albania and the Jewish people goes back much farther. During the Holocaust Albania stood by the Jews and refused to turn them over to the Nazis, said Netanyahu.

“We never forget our friends,” Netanyahu said, noting that Albania was the only country to have more Jews after World War II than before.

During the Holocaust, Albanians, who are mostly Muslims, had risked their lives to save Jews, including Jews who had fled from other countries. Yad Vashem has so far recognized 73 Albanian Muslims as Righteous among the Nations.

Karcini, the owner of Prima Gaz, a liquefied gas company, is suspected of paying €120,000 for the assassination of Pirro Bare, the owner Romano Port Sha, a private oil port terminal in the city of Durres.

The two businessmen had a dispute going back to 2011 for the delayed discharge of a natural gas tanker in Bare’s port terminal.

On Monday, Tirana’s Serious Crimes Court confirmed Karcini’s arrest, while the businessman denied any connection with the assignation attempt.

Karcini’s lawyer, former general prosecutor Theodhori Sollaku, told reporters that he would appeal the court’s decision.

The businessman’s arrest comes on the heels of the revelations made by a 31-year-old suspected assassin, Julian Sinanj, who was detained last week.

Sinanaj was arrested as part of gang who carried out a number of assassinations, and is currently cooperating with prosecutors, shedding light on a number of unsolved crimes.

Police belief that at the day of his arrest Sinanaj was attempting to assassinate Pirro Bare.

Swiss prisons are filled with shiptars and niggers who wage violent gang wars within the walls

Albanians against Africans in Swiss prison

During middle of the week in the Geneva prison Champ- Dollon erupted war-like clashes between Albanian and African criminals. Rival gangs for some time already were fighting in the Swiss prison. This is just the beginning warn prisoners representative authorities .

The confrontation with up to 100 participants was preceded by a dispute on Sunday at the food counter , reports the Tribune de Genève . The participants of different ethnicities had been sanctioned then .

On Monday it was in the prison yard Africans and Albanians fought a bloody brawl . Here, a bystander was thrown against a wall and hurt . The violent offenders were then separated and placed under stricter safety standards.

On Tuesday, the drama went in the third round. Twelve Albanians protested against the punishment of their countrymen , and refused to return to their cells . The guards succeeded to have the upper hand , for now at least .

Explains Peter Zimmermann of the self-help group for prisoners that were formerly located mainly went against the staff at the prison revolts . For some years, but there were more problems with aggression of the different ethnic groups together and also the fact that many prisons are just crowded. The situation was highly dangerous , he says.

"It's an emergency," says Zimmermann. The prisoners felt cooped up, neglected, could find no voice and thus developed aggression. "Location is extremely dangerous."

"They want to defend themselves against the states," said Zimmermann. In the various clans they would find like-minded people and this incited each other. "It goes so far that some prisoners just want to slam." That the wardens did not intervene in Champ-Dollon earlier shows that they were overwhelmed. Zimmermann warns: "The current situation is extremely dangerous. If we tolerate the intolerable conditions, it will become as in the U.S., where clans and violence dominate the prisons. "

Yes, and not only the prisons.

Posted by xaameriki on March 10, 2014

An undeclared war has emerged with crime in Greece, a war in which Greek citizens are slaughtered daily by foreigners.

The latest Victims of incredible brutality. Albanian robbers attacked an elderly couple in Larissa, the man breathed his last breath in the hospital while his wife was hospitalized in critical condition. Last Friday night two men speaking Albanian, masking their faces and wearing gloves, attacked the 76 year old once into to the front yard at the ground floor of the house, beating him with their fists using strikes to the body and head.

Threatening with a gun, they led him inside the house, to the women inside, a 61 year old wife and the 98 year old bedridden mother. They demanded their jewelry, hitting both the old man and his wife with their fists, striking the face and body. They then tied the hands of the two elderly, ripped a gold cross chain from the neck of the 61 year old and disappeared.

The couple was transferred to the city hospital, where on Saturday night March 8th the 76 year old man died while his wife is in serious condition.

While the minister of public order Nikos Dendias is dreaming and fantasizing that he has reduced crime even an elderly man is added to the long list of Greeks murdered by foreign criminals. This loser should have resigned long ago with so many heinous crimes committed in the last days. May is approaching soon and the Greek people’s vote will show the way to escape this coalition of our misery.

Shiptar islamist jihadists kill their turkish brothers.

Turkey arrests three from Albania, Kosovo for 'terror' attack

March 21, 2014 07:50 PM

ANKARA: Two Albanians and a man from Kosovo have been arrested for a suspected "terror" attack that claimed the lives of two soldiers and a policeman in southern Turkey, Interior Minister Efgan Ala said Friday.

The three men were arrested after Thursday's attack, in which assailants opened fire on security forces carrying out a highway patrol near the town of Ulukisla, close to the Syrian border.

"The suspects captured were two citizens of Albania and the third from Kosovo," the official Anatolia news agency quoted Ala as saying.

Albania's interior ministry, however, denied that any of those arrested were Albanian citizens.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had labelled the shooting a "vile act of terror" and said the three security officers killed were "martyrs".

Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay said the attackers had "a link with Syria", without giving further details.

Local media reported they were affiliated with militant Islamist organisations operating in Syria.

News agency Dogan said the three suspects, aged between 18 and 23, had crossed the border from Syria into Turkey via the Hatay province then caught a taxi toward Istanbul.

Violence has become commonplace along the border between the two countries since the outbreak of civil war between rebel groups and the troops of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad three years ago.

Syrian Islamist opposition groups, including Al-Qaeda affiliate Al-Nusra Front, are also vying for control of a regime-held border crossing, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Friday.

Turkey, a fierce opponent of Assad's regime, has been accused of supplying arms to several rebel groups fighting to topple Assad since 2011.

Halkidiki: Albanians murdered venzinopoles and then went to bars to have fun

Friday, October 18, 2013 - 22:32

Incredible cynicism displayed by two Albanians on Thursday night murdered in cold blood a 32-year old owner of a service station in New Italic Halkidiki. Shortly after the murder found by the police in the bar area of New Moudanion to drink and make merry despite the fact that they had just removed a man's life.

The officers of the Police dealing with the case speak for calm and dangerous villains. One of them is in the country illegally, and had been deported before about a month and returned back to Greece from unattended point of Greek-Albanian border. Reportedly he and his partner had been occupied in the past the authorities thefts .

The two Albanians wearing hoods entered the gas station, holding each rifle and one knife. Forced the Greek venzinopoles give them 400 euros from the cash register, and his mobile phone while immediately after they tied him and a friend who was at the station and led them in an adjacent cubicle. At the time he arrived at the gas station and a 33 year old farmer, friend of the owner, in which the perpetrators also immobilized and led him in the same room with the employee and his girlfriend.

Albanians demanded money from him, because they thought he had some other amount of money in his possession. Indeed, the perpetrators did not hesitate to hit even with the handle of the knife the breeder, eventually throwing him on the floor. "While he made it also appears that the unfortunate Greeks, who was quite stout and strong child, managed to solved and seeing the offender threatens the customer lunged towards him, "explains one officer. At that time the alien was holding the rifle shot so young to kill him, and then they both left the station.

Immediately erected a large police operation, while controls were carried out both in deserted places such as shops, parks and wooded areas. From information indicates that during an inspection at a bar in N. Moudania police identified two foreigners who fit the profile of perpetrators and tried to control them and then bringing them done. However, time control one of them fled, but was arrested shortly afterwards. Then detected and the shotgun, which was allegedly used in the robbery in an area of Flogita.

The country is drowned in blood, foreign thieves rampant throughout murdering defenseless of our citizens even for few euros. Instigate their crimes, the wretched state actors, allowing them all to commit crimes unchecked in our country. Greece has turned into a real jungle and failed minister pro-Po rather than deal with the crime that has literally choke the country executing orders of foreign power centers that their sole purpose is political extermination of Greek Nationalists.

Everyday we are witnessing more and more harsh crime of ruthless gangs of thugs. The solution is one: Harsh repression of all criminals who have turned Greece into a jungle.

Default Europe’s marijuana capital isn’t Amsterdam

GJIROKASTRA, Albania — The last time police tried to enter the mountainside village of Lazarat near this historic southern city last summer, they prompted a ferocious firefight a local police commissioner describes as “very much like a real war.”

Speaking on condition of anonymity for fear of being ostracized, he said he was part of a special forces operation during which sniper units occupied high ground as SWAT teams moved in to arrest a handful of people working in fields surrounding the village.

They were no ordinary fields: Lazarat is known as Albania’s drug capital, notorious for its cannabis and lawlessness.

The annual crop earns almost $6 billion, according to the Italian financial police.

Lavdrim Muhaxheri a Kosovo shiptar jihadist with ISIS beheading a captured Syrian soldier

Quote:
The International Center for the Study of Radicalization, ISRA, a think tank based in King's College, London, believes that some 300 Albanian fighters, from Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania, have joined groups linked to al-Qaeda in Syria, including Jabhat al-Nusra and the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, or ISIS.

The Albanian authorities in March arrested eight people, including two radical imams, suspected of recruiting Albanian jihadists to join militant groups in Syria. A number of suspected recruiters have been arrested also in Kosovo.

In other Albanian-related incidents in the Middle East, a man from Ferizaj, in Kosovo, was reportedly behind a horrific suicide bombing in Iraq that killed at least 25 people.

Italy: Albanians Arrested for Planning Terrorism

Andrew Anglin
Daily Stormer
March 30, 2017

Maybe you shouldn’t have invited Albanians to your country, Italy?
Why did you do that?
Is it like a “it seemed like a good idea at the time” type situation?
Because I can’t imagine any circumstances under which that would seem like a good idea.

ABC News:
Italian police on Thursday arrested three Kosovans in the lagoon city of Venice after one was caught on a phone intercept proposing they bomb the famed Rialto bridge while others lauded the recent attack in London. A minor was also detained.
Venice prosecutor Adelchi d’Ippolito said a search of a Venice apartment showed the suspects were getting in physical shape and watching videos of Islamic extremists demonstrating how to carry out knife attacks.
A phone intercept allegedly caught one of the suspects saying: “You’ll go straight to paradise because of all the infidels in Venice. Put a bomb on the Rialto.” It wasn’t clear if the reference was bluster or indicated an imminent threat.
Regardless, police said the bridge never was at risk because it is under constant surveillance.
The 16th century Rialto bridge, one of Venice’s iconic tourist draws, spans the Grand Canal and features small shops on either side of its stone steps.
Authorities identified the suspects as Fisnik Bekaj, Dake Haziraj and Arjan Babaj. They said the men talked about being ready to die for the jihadist cause and discussed being inspired by last week’s attack in London that killed four people.
D’Ippolito said the suspects were “truly dangerous” and were suspected of plotting attacks both in Italy and overseas. One had returned recently from Syria, he said. But he added that they wouldn’t have been able to carry out an attack in Italy since they were being closely watched.
