With the 9 rnd magazine it is even better for CC. NightSights are mandatory! Extra 9 or 10 rnd Mags may be found for as little as $16. Get at least 10! Mags are the weakest link in auto-loaders. The G 30 is perhaps the most accurate Glock made. Making 2 3/4 inch Coke cans dance at 25-30 yards is good enough for most Folks. see also: Glockenspiel - Welcome to The Darkside http://www.vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=242 23.99 oz Glock 30 - .45 Glock 29 - 10mm Capacity: 9 - 13 rnds. -------------- And: http://www.glocktalk.com The Big Dawgs Club Welcome to the Big Dawgs club! As to the 10mm round....nice to have the knockdown power, better than the 45 but when the chit hits the chan the 10 mm round will be as common as a jew celebrating Christmas. Gimme the glock 21 in a .45 round anyday. Highly accurate and the .45 round will be as plentiful as as a congoid on the 15th and 30th of every month at the welfare office. |

I understand you love your 21 but it is a bit large for some tastes/uses/Folks. Right you are about the G 29 in 10mm. Not as popular and not as easily obtained. I do know that many 10mm users are Re-Loaders and have a huge (many thousands) supply stockpiled for just that reason. You know the Pistol you carry all the time is a lot better than the one you left at home for some reason. You refer to the 30 as a "rib gun". Not to start an argument, but some find the accuracy of the 30 more than enough. Making 2 3/4 inch Coke cans dance at 25-30 yards (offhand not w/ a rest) is good enough for most Folks. (Your mileage and/or oppinion may vary) Glad to hear how pleased you are w/ your 21... :cool It is only important finding what you shoot best and what works best for your uses. btw: My accuracy is far more important to me than the "mine's bigger than yours" controversy... I do prefer the G 30 in .45 myself bit I feel almost as comforted w/ a G 27 in .40. . Last edited by no_nomen; December 10th, 2003 at 04:57 AM. |
