AMA representative claims asylum seekers on Nauru are worse off than Holocaust victims
AMA representative claims asylum seekers on Nauru are worse off than Holocaust victims
February 11, 2019 The paediatric representative from Australia’s peak medical body has suggested asylum seekers on Manus Island and Nauru are in a worse situation than Jews in Auschwitz because people who knew they were going to be gassed by the Nazis “found some sense of relief in knowing what was happening”. Paul Bauert of the Australian Medical Association was among dozens of doctors who came to Parliament House in Canberra today to push Bill Shorten and his Labor team to stand firm in support of the Kerryn Phelps-inspired bill. https://www.theaustralian.com.au/nat...636621c642c99d |

More propaganda.
But the goofy doctor better be careful as no one has suffered like the poor jews. The rapefugees are not having it, no free money. And did you say they might have to get a job instead of lounging on the beach? A total of 71 asylum seekers on Nauru have turned down the chance to move to the U.S. after discovering they would need to work and wouldn't get welfare. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...e-welfare.html It must not be that bad, dozens that came to the USA want to go back. They spent up to five years trying to get off Nauru, but now it seems that some of the refugees who've been resettled in the United States want to return to the Pacific Island. Around 300 refugees have been resettled from Nauru under a refugee swap deal between the US and Australian governments. The President of Nauru says he's now had requests from up to forty refugees in the US wanting to come back to the island nation. https://www.abc.net.au/radio/program...nauru/10506426 He was born stateless as a persecuted Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar. Mr Parvez hasn't seen his family of 10 in seven years and dreams of one day bringing them all to the US. https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2018-...-want/10666244 Last edited by AmericanRobin; February 11th, 2019 at 10:05 AM. |
