Slingshots are gimmicks.
What this world needs is like...a suppressed pump-pneumatic rifle shooting .45 balls at like...1050fps. Maybe dual-valve design, maybe a single, larger, high-volume valve. A specially engineered manual crank, or something, that raises pressure to full with one easy stroke. Slap a leupold 6.5-20x50 on that motherfucker and be invincible. It'd be legal, but it'd never be made. Not in ZOG-land, anyway.

My slingshot, over the counter hunting rated is somewhat of a joke. I attached a weight scale for fishing to the slingshot and it topped out at a 17 pound pull at my draw length..
This is not enough for taking birds. This site is suppose to be the real deal on slingshots. Notice how the frame is supported by both thumb and index finger. You will get more stored energy that way. I believe that hunting regs for bows are no less than 45 pounds for big game. http://www.aplusslingshots.com/ |
